I grew up in a house that had soft water, so now that I’m on my own I am always on the hunt to combat hard water 😅 I’m over in Clearwater and I use white distilled vinegar for everything. I get mine from Sam’s. I put in it the dishwasher rinse aid dispenser (fill it up). The washing machine when it’s filling the water, or in the fabric softener dispenser (probably about 1/4 of a cup worth). This helps remove any odors from my workout clothes and also keeps them soft since I don’t use fabric softener. Borax also helps keep clothes soft and remove odors if you have hard water. I use it to clean the bathroom -sink and shower- mixed with distilled water (or regular water from tap also works) in a spray bottle and spray it everywhere and towel dry the sink. I use it in my Bissell floor mop mixing equal parts water and vinegar to clean the floors. I also use it to descale my Keurig (about half the water reservoir full, then go in with water once that’s empty) and keep running the hot water cycle until I can’t smell it anymore lol 😂 Another tip would be to open your dishwasher once the wash cycle is complete so you don’t let any steam (that has hard water minerals in it) sit on the dishes. Additionally, we bought an electronic water descaler from Amazon and it has helped a bunch with hard water build up. It helps break up the minerals before they enter the water tank which helps keep it from building on surfaces, as well as helps your skin and hair not be so dry, and prolong the life of appliances! I use white distilled vinegar for e v e r y t h i n g ❤
Okay the odd odors!!!! I have been wondering what the heck that is too. Our clothes almost smell like mildew even if I am super adamant about drying them immediately. This is SO helpful omg
Hey girl! The reason the Mielle rosemary hair oil is super oily is bc it was intentionally created for ethnic hair since ours gets very dry! They do now have a light one I see all the time at target so maybe try that one! ❤️✨
