Regardless of whatever theme music was being played, the fact that the Toronto Raptors, CANADA'S team, was appearing in the NBA Finals for the 1st time, on home court, with millions watching around the world...it was sign that 'Finally. We made it. After 24 years of climbing the NBA mountain, the RAPTORS are here at long last.' :-) But the best part of all...the Raptors not only made it the Finals for the 1st time, they WON and toppled the Warriors dynasty to do it!! :-D #WeTheNorth
So lucky facing that massive Philly team, the Bucks and then the Warriors without KD. I mean, it's only Steph, Klay & Draymond - an excellent team vs. an inevitable team (with KD). What an easy path [Yes this is heavy sarcasm]. The 2019 Raptors would've won in 2020 and 2021 as well.
