This is seriously the best how to video I have seen! Straight the point, no dragging it out, and I could actually follow it and see what is being done. Thank you!!!
**UPDATE** This worked for me, MAKE SURE you do the wait times and follow the instructions. After waiting the 24 hours to turn it back on, did the POWER head cleaning I waited the additional 24 hours and ran a nozzle check, then had to run a regular head cleaning and everything was perfect after that!
Thank you for this video! I was able to do it all on my own; with NO printer troubleshooting experience. I am pretty techy and I know that helped me some, but think I could've done it no matter with your step-by-step instructions. You were very thorough in your descriptions and it fixed my problem with my Ecotank 15000 that I converted to sublimation. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I have completed the steps and prior to using the solution I completed many power and print head cleanings. I am still only getting the top half of black text when printing the nozzle check, this is so frustrating. Your video was clear and helpful.
Try having some grace with yourself, this process can require a lot of patients. I recommend starting from the beginning and redoing the cleaning and maybe that you have to do it several times, but don't rush it this process does work. It just takes time with some printers, especially.
Great video. I look forward to trying this. Question. I am having trouble with my three colors but not the black. Since I have the system disassembled, should I clean the black anyway?
Thank you so much for this informational video. Have been having issues with the black ink on my epson and tried replacing maintenance box etc and nothing had worked. My husband just helped with doing the steps in your video now gotta wait 24 hours and hope it worked!! fingers crossed!
WOW! Excellent video! I just ordered the cleaning kit and can’t wait to do this. I will update when I have done this. Feeling really positive that you have solved my problem.
thank you for your tutorial! so easy to follow. my black and yellow were good prior. I did all the steps but HELP. No ink is coming out at all now. Should I do it again? or is there something else I should do. .. thank you so much!
You can repeat the process, and make sure that your ink is full when doing things like power, cleaning, and deep cleaning. Also, consider warming up the cleaning fluid and then reapplying.
This is such a great video and so easy to understand. I have a question, though. Back story - I printed about 20 pages without problem, but the next day there were lines that wouldn't fix with cleaning, purge page, etc. Cyan was the only color affected. We've followed your directions 3 times now, but there is still a problem with the cyan. With nozzle checks, head cleanings, and power cleanings, we're still getting major broken lines in cyan. Any idea where we can go from here? Thank you!
Hi, thank you for the comment, I know it may seem like you recently changed the ink on the printer, but that is what I would check at this point I would layoff on the cleaning kit cleanings. And only do nozzle, cleanings and power cleanings like you've been doing, but I would make sure that the ink is totally full. This will ensure that there is enough volume of ink entering the system.
@@BestPrinters thank you. We'll try that. When we've done power cleanings, the level on cyan doesn't change much, but all the others go down pretty quickly. We almost saw a positive change after a couple nozzle checks, but the next nozzle check/cleaning, it went back to the same 2 lines that have big portions missing. I appreciate your help.
Question. Did you wait 12hours before using after you did the power clean? In all you would have to wait 24hrs after cleaning and 12hr after power clean?
Thank you for this great video! just one small tip/remark. Do not unplug the cable from the printer, because that cable live and carrying 110/220 V. Instead unplug it from the socket. stay safe
its been months since this video posted; i have just ordered the cleaning solution and will be trying it in the next few days. My 1500 has Eco Solvent ink, so im considering it a Giant Paper Weight at this point. I really am hoping this will help however i will understand if it doenst since this ink type is not for this printer. Still any pointers would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU in advance for any additional pointers for this type of ink and also for your detailed video 😃
I just did a complete cleaning about a month ago with this cleaning. It was printing really well. Can i do it again ? Could I have not done it right should I do it again?
Only you can decide if you need to do a second cleaning if you feel that the front quality can improve even more or that you did not sufficiently solve the problem the first time doing it the second time will absolutely benefit you.
16:08 ok so do I actually need to wait the 12 hours after power cleaning to do the printhead check??? I’m confused as you video states it will give an option to run one right after. My epson 15000 did not. So can I run it manually or do I wait the 12 hours first? And when can I start printing regularly afterwards?
Great Video.. Question, I have this printer which is only two months old. I have ink coming through the seam of the printer which I found out is on the side of the maintenance box. I did a large sublimation job. My maintenance box is only showing half used, do you think I should change it now?
I have this computer and I love your video so easy. BUT, the cyan is totally clogged it will not take the cleaning solution it just explodes off the tip. Any suggestions? All the other colors cleaned well.

Another thing you could do is just run a deep cleaning. It will be a lot less ink usage but you still may have to run it several times until your color returns. You were on the right track. This is a very common thing that happens through this cleaning.
My cyan won’t print. I’ve unassembled the printer as you directed and I’m looking at the cyan cartridge and it’s empty all the others have ink in them. Do you think this is a clog in the cyan line or is it a clogged print head?

I just completed this cleaning and so now i wait the 24 hrs to turn on again. But im worried tht the clog is also in my lines. I wld like to know wht to do- then. @frankiesauceda9215
That's totally normal, when you install ink and start to print again, everything will go back to normal as far as yellow printing out of the yellow nozzle and magenta printing out of the magenta nozzle.
Hello for whatever reason I still don’t have coming out after waiting 24 hours after the printhead cleaning. I did the power clean only the black comes out. The other colors not working
I did this to the T and waited the 24 hours. When I went to put it back on it comes up with an error that states I fried my mother board or print head. what happened?
Mine is still not printing correctly even after using the cleaning solution. It's only one color that is not printing correctly on the print check sheet.

I am at wits end. I keep getting horizontal black lines running through anything that uses yellow. Do you think this would help with that?
Yes this cleaning will solve that problem.
@@BestPrinters Hello, I'm not sure if you are able to help. I ordered the kit and followed all directions in your video to a T. I am still getting black lines in my yellow ink. Some go the whole way across the page very faintly, but on almost every purge page there is a small section of teeny black lines. They appear in the same place on every print out. I have been battling this for months...so much wasted ink, paper, and time. Any other suggestions?
Okay so I did the cleaning, then waited 24hrs.. turned printer back on and it made a loud screeching noise with error code 00021. Help?!
My printer now has a print jam error. I've made sure there is absolutely no paper anywhere. Took it back apart and put it back together to make sure everything is correct but still getting the error 031006 🥺 any advice?
On the min 10:04 that lid on top comes off? Because it does looks like it should be remove in order for the tube to go in but ion your video it doesn’t show how. Please help.
Yes 8:12 shows you how.
I am crying in my stencil ink for etm1170 I hope one of these videos solves my clog and weird error message 😢
This should help

nice "precision" pocketknife screwdriver you're using there...
You wish you had my pocketknife screwdriver skills.
Is it ok if the paper towel is just wet, no color?
Yes that can be normal.
just curious....my black and yellow are the issue and I can't push the cleaning solution through the black, it goes through fine for yellow. Any recommendations?
Check out the support page on bestprinterstech.com
Should I drain the ink tank first. It's just my yellow that's not working
Yes
What if i can’t get the clogged one to push through????? It’s that stopped up
Check out my recent videos on warming up cleaning fluid to break a blockage like this
I did this for the pink and now no color is coming out?? What do I do ?
I have ET15000, just did power clean and it says everything will be improved after 12 Hours.
I have a Epson ET 15000 and I am getting nothing but blank pages when trying to print. I tried cleaning the print head but can’t get liquid to go thru the nozzles. Any help or suggestions? TIA
We’re you able to fix it? I was able to get the solution through all the others except one. It’s giving me a hard time pushing the warm/hot solution through
@@xclusivelybyrd4461Same here 😞. Pushed the solution into the magenta nozzle and it comes back up through the cyan and vice versa. I’ve already used (2) cleaning kits snd warmed the water and everything and it’s still doing that.
Printer doesn’t print after cleaning. What can I do?
Run power cleaning, and or repeat the entire cleaning process. make sure ink levels are totally full.
I don’t know what I do wrong , but I did the print head cleaning and I follow all the steps you say in the video but I still print blank 😩 help
Thats ok, just repeat the process.
@@BestPrinters NOOO! Don't do it. I did that and now the maintenance box needed replacing. I did that and still prints blank. It ruined my printer. Not your fault. I shouldn't have done it.
I did the cleaning, No ink was used to refill the head and nothing is printing on the paper. Help please I have a big order to fill. Thanks
Doesn’t the power cleaning fill the maitanence box and then that’s it for the printer?? Help please!!!
You Can purchase a new maintenance box & replace it. Bought mine off Amazon 😊
Yes, but you can get a new maintenance box
I followed every step, waited 24 hours, did a power clean with a new maintenance box. Was told to wait 12 hours after power clean to use printer. Now when I turn on the printer I get error code 031004. Any chance you know how to fix this? I think my printer is fried
You followed all the instructions. The printhead may have already been on it's way out. You can try leaving off for another 24 hours and unplugging try powering back on that may work.
Help mine will not print nothing do i have to do this
YES!
Still not working for me not sure what I’m doing wrong 😢 I followed all the steps I ran the cleaning solution until the paper towel was coming out clear connected everything and waited 24 hours. Unfortunately my maintenance box was full so I had to order a new one so I had to wait a few days before I could run the nozzle check and it’s still giving me the same issue
You may want to try warmed up cleaning fluid. You can find videos on this channel or my website bestprinterstech.com.
@@BestPrinters I tried that as well and still nothing but I think the problem is coming from my lines not the print head
I just completed this cleaning and so now i wait the 24 hrs to turn on again. But im worried tht the clog is also in my lines. I wld like to know wht to do- then. @frankiesauceda9215
Hello what do I do when I push the solution in the magenta and it come out of the yellow or the yellow come out of the magenta
That's totally normal, when you install ink and start to print again, everything will go back to normal as far as yellow printing out of the yellow nozzle and magenta printing out of the magenta nozzle.
Thank you
Hello for whatever reason I still don’t have coming out after waiting 24 hours after the printhead cleaning. I did the power clean only the black comes out. The other colors not working
Did you ever find a solution?
Now there is black in my yellow and magenta and some horizontal lines are missing :(
The cleaning process and do another power cleaning. Make sure your ink is full when you're doing all of this.
My line super clogged warm or hot solution its not going through
Any suggestions?
Hold pressure for 1-2 minutes straight with hot solution.
I did that and still clogged. This one is not budging at all. I tried to use forced air pressure and still nothing. Any other suggestions?
I have a bad problem I got everything done but I dropped a screw inside the computer and cannot find it
Its ok, but now you need to buy one of those small screw sets from Amazon.
I received the code 000031 and don’t know what to do 😢. Please help.
Awesome!
I did this to the T and waited the 24 hours. When I went to put it back on it comes up with an error that states I fried my mother board or print head. what happened?

Thank you for this video! I will let you know if it works for me .
Please do!
Did it work
I’ve done this three times and can’t get it to work 😢
Warm up the solution.
Nothing came out of magenta and yellow when I injected the cleaning fluid.
What I mean the fluid is
Coming out clear
Help!!! I can't get the liquid to press through😢
Warm up the solution.
Mine is still not printing correctly even after using the cleaning solution. It's only one color that is not printing correctly on the print check sheet.
You can do another cleaning or power cleaning that should help.
Wondering if anyone has had success cleaning their Epson and converting it to sublimation? From eco solvent to sublimation
My ink spilled inside of my printer because it was turned upside down and now it won't work helppp
Will it power on? Please respond in a different comment if you would like a reply.
I accidentally turned it on before 24 hours. Did I just break it?
Do you have any error codes? (Please reply in a different comment if you would like a reply.)
@@BestPrintersit does not turn on at all. It printed at first but noticed solution marks on the paper.
It didn’t work for me, I think the tubes are clogged 😞
