Thanks for the great demo. I wish more people took the time like you did when it comes to demoing products. Roland should give you commissions. I'm gonna buy one of these amps. Thanks again.
Thanks for this video, I just wondered if my unit was faulty although I've just bought it, as the volumes of the jc and black panel are far lower than the brit/stack/r-fier options, although a fender twin reverb could probably match them all in volume. Thanks for any advice you may be able to give
The jc and black panel are lower gain 'clean' amp model settings vs the higher gain brit/stack/rectifier which are 'crunch/dirty' settings. The latter settings would be 'louder.' (Without splitting hairs about gain vs volume and noting that you can get meaty clean sounds from some of the high gain settings.) Just guessing, I'd say your amp is fine. Have fun with your Roland amp!
Yes, a keyboard could use it also. In Part one I of this review I go over the controls and channels - ruclips.net/video/xwNqr43VH5Q/видео.html - which you might find helpful also. I think you could use either channel for keyboards. Good luck!
Hi there I was wondering if this amp would connect to a phone? So you can play tracks from your phone through it? I am a singer and use backing tracks so want to know what is best. Thanks!
I would recommend some delay and possibly some flanger or phaser. Otherwise, you can use some of the suggestions in my video that deals with acoustic guitar settings on this amp: ruclips.net/video/w6BoN8hMA-Y/видео.html ...when in doubt, let your ears be the guide. Thanks for stopping by, and good luck!
Yes, with a microphone, of course, on channel one. You can play backing tracks with the aux input. It would do great job. You could add reverb or delay as well. Channel one accepts quarter inch TRS cables and XLRcables.
Could I use a different 9v Power adaptor or is it going to destroy the amp? Asking cause I got a second hand one and they didn’t have the original 9v power Adaptor when I bought it! Thank you in Advance!
Because of you I know how to use my amp now. thank you!

Thanks - no commission from Roland, but they should, right? ;-)
Great review. Thank you!

Thanks for your time and advice, hope your Christmas went well.
Yah, a line out would make this a perfect mobile amp
*is this speaker specifically made for guitarists or can keyboardist use this? I have a BOSS RC 505 Looper and I play keyboards*

You'd need an 8th inch cable to connect a headphone jack to the line in. You could probably find one on amazon for $10 or less.
Thanks a lot, that was very helpful, what is the best setting for reggae please?
On an acoustic guitar
I would recommend some delay and possibly some flanger or phaser. Thanks a lot for the reply and advice, I'll check out your other video also, very helpful stuff 👍
would this amp work for a FLUTE (Yamaha) thanks in advance!
Yes, with a microphone, of course, on channel one. You can play backing tracks with the aux input. It would do great job. You could add reverb or delay as well. Channel one accepts quarter inch TRS cables and XLRcables.
thanks good demo, does it come with batteries?
Thanks. I do not recall if it came with batteries originally. Don't think so though.
Does this amp work with a wah pedal or no?
The amp should work with any external effect(s).
what's the best for hardrock pls?
Hello - it has a range of sounds - probably the 80's / Marshall or 90's / Mesa Boogie would work. Adjust gain to taste.
... these are labeled 'stack classic' (80's) and 'r-fier' (90's) on the cube street
+BlueSkyGuitar 2 I ve got tye cube street but I am learning alone and I m not very good to use it thank you ;)
+Baguettecubique r-fier is the best for song like AC/DC ?
AC/DC = stack classic

I would recommend the stock adaptor. You might be able to buy the stock adaptor from Roland or through a music catalogue. Good luck!
What's the best setting for country acoustic
I like the black panel for acoustic. Tweak EQ and add delay / reverb to taste.
