How to reset service reminder (oil service) BMW X1, X3, X5, X6, 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series

What does the red service light in the thumbnail mean? Just got mine back from the shop and it’s saying service and date being this month so I’m confused.

I had to start the engine to access the menu but worked fine once I did. 2011 BMW X1
