Perfect video. I just finished oil change on my bmw x1. Everything went smooth. Only thing to note is drain plug will open with 17mm socket. I didn't have that. So had to run and get that in the middle of oil change. Secondly, after poring 5qts oil, the console doesn't show the oil level till max but half of that. I guess It will take some time before oil heats up and corrects itself.

So sorry, your vid is excellent! Oddly there is a variant for the X1 2015 that has a plastic T10 Torx bit drain plug. Saw it on another RUclips. Your did not have this. Will be assisting coaching a young man with his first oil change. Instructing him to get under the car and lower the access to see which drain plug the car has... Your other vid helped with wheel speed sensor issue on F22 and is brilliant. Many thanks!!

    • @HelpMeDIY
