@@happyfriendshippal check their webinar on youtube, its called "Justice Webinar/QnA - Mix With The Masters" Xavier mentioned that they used either cubase sx3 or cubase 4 cuz he cant really remember =)
@@nathanwailes Whatever they say, they definitely used Reason, as did Sebastian, and their songs got noticeably... different once they abandoned it D: D: D:
Some of the best reversed engineering I've ever heard. And as someone who makes remakes of a different kind I appreciate the complexity of the task. Congrats! (And thank you so much for the tutorial! )You deserve a lot more subs!!
This remake is honestly phenomenal, even though in my opinion some parts actually sound better on your version. From using all stock plug-ins, to sample stacking, and complex glitches I'm extremely impressed. (BTW I'm stealing some of your techniques.. from the effect chains and racks from your tutorial) lol.
the remake is pretty ridiculously close to the original. Idk how they blended the saw bass with the sampled bass so well in the original it's probably the only part that sticks out for me. amazing work. ✝️
Such great work. Could you advise on who you did the main drum sound - I am obsessed with the kick and snare which I think soulwax sampled from the Rolling Stones (I think I read soulwax gave them some drum samples which they battered).
ah yes, now it just needs about 50 more compressors and limiters & it'll be perfect (seriously though, this is rad, just a tad too clean, needs dirt, gunk, rust, bit of slime)
it clearly isn't the same thing. But with entirely ableton it's really fucking close, at times it sounds better and at times it isn't quite the same, but over all it's really fucking good dude.
and now imagine producing it on cubase sx3/4 in 2005-2006 without a widescreen monitor.. all the sampling involved etc... Mad respect to Justice!
I believe they used garage band

@@varvarvarvarvarvar They never said this. They consistently say they used only Cubase and Garageband.

@@siztm oh my bad. I didn’t realize you mentioned it in the video. Thanks a lot !
Impeccably made
Yo people have been trying to figure this out for years ... Good job
Really curious how your remake that higher "whirr" sound at 1:31...can't figure it out.. Amazing job...beautiful mix
It's simple. I reversed this clap sound and arranged it a little ruclips.net/video/5qm8PH4xAss/видео.html thank you !
@@siztm hahahahaha WHAT!
I was sure I was about to hear a horrible recreation. And then I pressed play. Bravo!
Esta versión suena más limpia y clara que el original en mi opinión, que bien suena 🔥🔥🔥
bro you killed it
I will give you money for this song in Ableton! I need to study it!!!
Would appreciate a tutorial or ALP please...very good remake!

You absolutely killed it.
Can you do a tutorial video of how you made it?
holy shit...people can't even reproduce simple rap beats and you did genesis well
edit: I think you changed 3:20 melody on purpose
Supa dope 🤖
wtf dude - this was wild!!
You know the remake is good when RUclips says its the original in the description
tremendo!!!!!
Sick, great job my friend.
Best one so far, good job.
I recognised that sample at the beginning. The Godzilla score, also sampled for "Simon Says."
fantastic job. wow
Amazing work! How long did u took to remake?
Thx! Maybe it's about 20 hours... Maybe…
The vocal is a bit off but stills being a nice remake!

It’s perfect dude! 🔥
a friend of mine was able to recreate the sample using the Godzilla sample
I know this is selfish, but could you share the alp? Very interested in the minute details here!
Good ear bro ❤

Simon says i think is the song
You know it's good as perfect when youtube is copyrighting it
Any chance you'll share the project file? Would love to mess around with it myself!

Dope

no lo entiendo, dices que has reemplazado los samples de la cancion por los mismos samples de la cancion para simular que es la cancion de justice?

Лучше оригинала звучит, я тоже так думаю.
