Wow! 2 months ago, I replied to your comment from 10 years ago which said that you had been watching it for the past 3 years then. Came back to this video to see that you had actually commented 9 months ago answering that very question. That's awesome haha.
Incredible finger-work and technique. You've inspired me to learn this song. Never thought I'd be able to learn this, but I'm actually getting it! Again, fantastic!
I just started playing piano, and this video is what motivates me to learn this piece. It's my favorite interpretation of it. You are an amazing piano player, to watch your hands move is dizzying...
this is amazing! i'm trying to play this piece. i didnt like the interpretation at first, but as i listened on, i realized this is one of the best recordings of this piece i have heard so far. when i first played the beginning measures, i kind of heard a dreamy harp-like kind of texture, so i played it softly, texture-wise. but i really like your interpretation as well. you are a really talented pianist.
Absolutely magnificent finger-work. Your piano technique has inspired me... I am an ARCT performer, but my piano techniques are far from yours. Although there are very slight and few changes I would apply, it was such a beautiful and exceptional interpretation. Bravo.
You have an amazing ability to play many different genres beautifully. It is really good to see someone play the classics, standards and new age like you do. Evidently you have had many years of study and practice. Do you tour? Have CD's?
You perform this so effortlessly, yet it is so difficult! The first note at the beginning of the A-major section, "B," you play with the right hand, which facilitates the execution of the arpeggio (I never thought of that.). I am attempting to watch the video and identify your fingering, and incorporate it into mine. Which edition are you using? I'll be watching this video 100s of times. Please continue to upload more of my favorite composer-Franz Liszt. Watching you is a lesson in itself!
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was named the sigh after he passed away. I need to know this song for music history but I just sort of have a faint memory
Hi. What's the model of this piano? It has exactly the tone I'mm looking for... And I should also say that this video was my first experience of this song (I find your video in a telegram channel with no name or ID but finally today I find your RUclips channel) and after that I couldn't find any performance better than yours...
What exactly was the idea behind naming it "a sigh"? Is this an ironic joke based on the fact that the piece is actually difficult and sighing implies great ease to the point of boredom? Did Franz Liszt have that sort of humour? He didn't seem like the type of person to make jokes. I always imagined him to be someone who was super serious all the time.
Pretty nice. 2:10 and a minute later @ 3:09 - I HATE you people!! I couldn't get those parts down for the life of me, and people on here whip through it like it's effing nothing - drives me freaking crazy!!!!!
Why so knotty ? it seems to me you`re trying to show your virtuosity too much which is not Liszt`s intention for this one. Un sospiro means a sigh not a frown...it`s ment to be played in a more legato way..but this is just my oppinion. congrats anyway :)
Still watch it! 11 years later, I’m 30 now. I haven’t found a better interpretation.

How's your piano playing after 13 years? 😅
Something is so calming about seeing the hammers work...
I've been watching this video of yours for about 3 years now. It never gets old; absolutely incredible performance and mesmerizing étude!

Cool!!

may be i´ll play it in the second term¡ it will be awesome¡ :)
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was named the sigh after he passed away. I need to know this song for music history but I just sort of have a faint memory
hope i remember Lizst for my listening quiz in music history in 20 mins!
It isn't that kind of sigh. It's more of a sad sigh that you would let out after giving up hope.
well damn. this inspired me
Is there any chance you could provide an mp3 of this recording? After hearing this version, no mp3s I have download quite feel the same.
Hi. What's the model of this piano? It has exactly the tone I'mm looking for... sick!
liszt is the best
More applause please....!
anyone knows something likes this one???
Who is the pianist? Does anyone know
That was great! How did you record the sound?
used a microphone...
I meant which one =p
And how many ones
sorry couldn't resist :p
It is a single Sony ECM-MS907 stereo mic. You can see it dangling over the bass strings.
Thanks!
You actually made me laugh, tho '^^
I let out a sigh after I tried learning this
It would sound so much better on a model D, not Yamaha. I enjoyed your interpretation though
@loouuiissaaelle Thank you! If you have a chance have a listen to my latest upload (Gershwin / Wild).

I'm not going to say that's a lie, but I have been playing guitar for years and it really never helped me with piano finger coordination.
I looks like a typewriter , except you are writing your feelings in sound ..
I could be mistaken but it appears this was recorded at a slower speed and sped up.
I used to think Liszt was played by multiple keyboardists :D
yes, also the moon landings were faked, 911 was an inside job and elvis still lives.

Simple? This isn't simple not even for a concert pianist.
Anyone here from the fish game
"Aquaspace" that is
