Give Danny some love. I want to thank him for doing this interview. Additionally, the audio is not what I'd like it to be on my end. The wrong microphone was selected, but nonetheless. Enjoy! I joined Figbid a few months ago after watching a tour of CajunB's fig orchard. I am still getting familiar with it but I love it. So I'm from Southwest Louisiana and I grew up pickin figs at my grandma house and my memaws house and at our camp at toledeo bend as well as any side of the road wild growing fig trees I spotted. I've been growing figs for over 25 years. I have several unknowns I've collected growing wild in the woods and from abandoned properties. I'm expirenced in growing, propagating, and eatting lol figs but I am a beginner when it comes to knowing all the different varieties and categories. Ross you have been tremendous help. I learned alot from your spreadsheet video and I appreciate your content. Thanks for the information and for helping the fig community grow.
Have enjoyed buying on figbid my little collection. Thank you Danny for making it easy for us. You are an asset to the community. Your videos Ross have been helpful as well. Thank you Ross.
I got scammed on eBay once tried to buy a panache and wen it came in the mail it had no variegation and didn’t have any shapes resembling panache… I still have it, the first tree I ever bought was a scam lol
Another Great interview. Danny seems like a wonderful person and has really changed the world as far as figs goes here in the states. You continue making a difference too Boss!
Great interview! Thank you both for your time to share this information! I would love to see notifications too. Like if I have a variety in my wishlist, I’d receive notification that one is newly listed. I think it’d help sellers get top dollar, too.
I was arrested for pruning a fig tree a few years ago. I asked the person who opened the door if I could, and they said yes after exhibiting domain and control of the property. Turns out, he wasn't the property owner; not only that, he didn't even live there. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get it in writing before you prune a tree, even when you plan to give some of the cuttings back in the form of new trees. ALWAYS!
Yikes! So you can't just get it in writing, anyone renting the house could still have the house listed as their address on their ID and mail and still not own the property, so you'd have to check, what, the city's records? Or have a real estate agent look up who last bought the home? Then have that person prove their identity and get THEM to sign you permission! 😅
Its good to see danny on video, i interact mainly thru figbids messenger, always awesome and generous with his knowledge with top notch seller and buyer service 🎉

@@TheRealHonestInquiry not really how it works.
If they sign a paper saying they are the owner or can speak on owners behalf you're good to go
Would love a 2023 garden plan
👍
I'd rather trade the Crypto market as its more profitable. I make an average of $15,000 per week even though I barely trade myself
PSSHH, I get that much for one fig.
