The seller picked almost-ripped durian for you guys. It is good for a beginner. The ripped one may be too smelly. The one that you had before with sticky rice at Terminal 21 was over-ripped durian which we usually used it to prepare the dessert such as durian sticky rice. Durian is just very expensive this year since there have been sold very big lots to China and what we have left are so expensive. The market that you went to is a premium one. They sold only premium fruits and they are more expensive than normal fruits sold in a normal market. Thai people prefer sweet pamelo (so-called grapefruit) to sour one. The sweet one is more expensive. For the mangosteen try put one hand on the top and the bottom and squeeze both hand like cut it in half (or just use a knife to tear between top and bottom) you will get a perfect one. BTW, I am Thai and I've never had an egg fruit. It is not a normal or popular fruit we can find.

That explains why it was so delicious! And thank you for the tips, now we know how to eat all of these fruit for next time. We had also never heard of egg fruit, but it reminded us of pumpkin! So good. 😋☺️

-The friut that taste like pumpkin is call "Tissa" or "Fruit of sage" and how you eat it is like avocado.
    - Durian that you had last time is a ripe one, more smell and soft, but in the video is not that ripe so it firm and less smell.
Thank you for making this video and welcome to Thailand.

my favourite fruits on your table such as Jackfruit , Longkong , Rambutan ,Mangosteen, Pomelo.
Anyway fruit that u guy ate was Longkong , It is not Longan. In Thailand you can enjoy different kind of fruits/ different season for
    the whole year.
there are a few kind of custard apples, some seedless , few seeds and a bit different flavor , different smell.

If you go to Chanthaburi or Rayong during this period, fruit farms in these 2 provinces are open to tourists. You'll visit the farm where there are many kinds of fruits you can pick from the trees such as mangosteens, rambutans, durians, and more. There's also a fruit buffet and food in the farm. In the buffet you can eat unlimited fruit especially durian which is very expensive 😁😁🙏🙏

King of fruit is durian. And, queen of fruit is mangosteen. Because, when you had durian too much, you might get sore throat. So, to avoid that, you have to have mangosteen to help your throat. Durian is call hot fruit and mangosteen is call cold fruit to counter balance. Hope you enjoy our local fruits in Thailand.

Hi, one tricky question about a mangosteen is that one can always guess it right how many pieces or little slices of meat inside a mangosteen by a glance at its bottom. How many spokes you see is the answer to number of pieces inside. Now you can play a game guessing with friends. You’ll win every time. 😂🎉 Bon appetite!

A tricky quiz of mangosteen about how many piece in it? Simply look at the bottom of it you can ID by counting number there. You'll have 10 out of 10 scores. Have fun
By the way, Durian & Mangosteen are Ying & Yang stuff. If someone got sweat from durian, mangosteen would help body temperature cool down.
Don't eat durian along with alcohol drink. It's very dangerous. FYI.

The vendor tries to tell you that the NOYNA you want to eat will be MOYNA that is Ripe and can be eaten. If you haven't eaten it yet, if you buy it, you'll have to wait another 2-3 days because it's still raw. If you want to eat now The seller will choose The type that is already ripe is also sold by the kilogram, but you only buy one. and snake fruit make your throat pain frech and better

@@mikeandashley Indian gooseberry is native to south and southeast asia. I've known it but it's not a popular fruit that is widely available. I did some digging on egg fruit and found that it's native to central america, though also is cultivated in India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Maybe it's getting more popular here and people have started growing them too.
