I’m looking to make flavored Stevia what product would be best and any suggestion on making the product shelf stable or maybe possibly a all natural shelf stable suggestion for the base? Right now I’m testing out water but I’m guessing that I need a preservative. If it doesn’t need to be refrigerated vegetable glycerin comes to mind but maybe you might have some suggestions
Our Flavor Powders could help to add a little flavor to powdered stevia. Depending on the flavor, you may also need an acid or salt in order for the flavor to bloom.
So a flavor concentrate is diluted in water and gum Arabic, it is less concentrated than the extract ?

Hey can guide me how develop a heat stable cardamom flavor? Or recommend any book?
Famous Bakers ......I guess he is too busy to reply to viewers.......so get a mason jar fill it 2/3 rd's the way with broken cardamom pods....fill the jar with the best vodka and seal and let sit for close to 6 months for maximum flavor. After 6 months strain into a small clear jar and top up the pods again with vodka in the other mason jar.
Thanks for the info and vid.
I am looking at ways to make my own flavourings to make my own e-liquid/vapeliquids at home hence watching your vid.
I know you may not be able to speak definitively but could i get your opinion/best educated guess please?
I have been told that a major problem with homemade flavours used in e-liquids is that a high sugar content results in caramalisation on the heating element.
Do extracts have as a high a sugar content as the original solution? are there any extracts or specific extraction methods that remove sugar that i can look up?
any advice you could give would be appreciated
thanks
mike k ....did u make any concentrate or extract bynow ?00
Hey Mike k, did you ever find out about making your own concentrates at home for Vaping?
Hi, Great information on Extract and Concentrate. I don't see any vanilla concentrate in the market, only vanilla powder/paste or extract. Which one will be better for baking?
For baking, it's best to use vanilla concentrate as it doesn't contain alcohol and has a binding agent such as Gum Acacia. The flavor will hold up well even in high-heat applications like baking.
Hi Bill, can I use flavor extract in chocolate bars ?..... (melt the bar, mix with the extract and then solidify again).
Hey there, just wanted to clarify that Bill himself doesn't respond to these, but I do consult with him whenever a question is beyond my knowledge of flavoring. I don't think that extracts would be best in chocolate bars; however we do have flavor oils for chocolate that you can use, specifically designed for that purpose. You can find them here www.naturesflavors.com/287-flavor-oils-for-chocolate
this is amazing
Thanks! Stay tuned for more!

Thanks for the great video. What would you recommend for flavoring (infusing with grain alcohol) smoking pipe tobacco, your fruit extracts or concentrates? Thanks Bill.
Hey there, we can not condone the use of our products for any vaping or tobacco use, but people do tend to use our coffee & Tea flavorings (which are extracts) for those type of products. A concentrate would probably gum up some amount when used in that method.
The only question is: Can I vape it?
+George A yes you can my friend. yes you can-Obama
🤢🤢🤢🤢😬😬😬😬😬
It will highly depend on the exact molecules you are extracting.
Can I use this to flavor lip balms and lip gloss?
Yes you can :)

For flavoring green tea or other teas, shall we use extract or concentrate..?
which one of these can i vape please ?
At this time we don't currently endorse using products for vaping as they are intended for food applications - therefore we are unable to provide such information. You are more than welcome to purchase our flavor extracts without diacetyl or our coffee and tea flavors without diacetyl if you want to experiment with our natural flavors, noting that it's at your own risk. www.naturesflavors.com/66-flavors-without-diacetyl
VERY well done! Informational, to the point, and nearly no wasted time babbling extraneous commentary.
Hello, it's the middle of March here in NYC. We had snow flurries today and I've been trying to make blueberry muffins that taste like blueberries. Go figure. Blueberries in the grocery have no flavor at all. They are blue on the outside but they taste like unripened generic fruit. I tried "wild frozen blueberries" too from a reputable company. Same thing. The blueberries had no flavor. Then I tried freeze-dried blueberries. Again, no flavor. I don't have an answer. Do you know how I can make my blueberry muffins taste like blueberries? I'm afraid blueberry concentrate will also have that unripened generic fruit flavor. I might have to wait until the summer when blueberries are in season. I'm surprised that all these companies sell blueberry products that don't taste like blueberries. Your advice is welcome. Thank you.
Hi David, yes we'd first recommend our Blueberry Flavor Concentrate. The taste is similar to fresh and in-season blueberries. We'd suggest ordering a smaller quantity to experiment with before buying in larger quantities. And remember, our flavorings are highly concentrated. So, a little goes a long way :)
@@NaturesFlavors Thank you. I ordered the organic blueberry concentrate. I will be getting it this Thursday. Let's see if this will work. I'm excited.
Im so confused on why your flavor concentrate is cloudy ive never in my entire life seen a flavor concentrate thats not clear
what's the difference between these and oils? I'm at a great loss of understanding here. My head is spinning
oil>concentrate>extract in terms of flavor potency but you have to consider what you want it for. extracts are good for drinks. concentrates for baking. oils for baking and making industrial stuff like scented candles.
Hi there, sorry for the late response. Indigo is correct; each flavoring is similar but have their own unique characteristics that make them better for different uses.
Oils = baking, lip balms, candle making, natural candies, chewing gum, and chocolate
Flavor Powders = smoothies, baked goods, and dry mixes.
Emulsions = baking, dairy products
Concentrates = Baking, beverages, ice cream
Extract = Dairy, ice cream, old-school baking
Subscribe and stay tuned for more. Feel free to ask more questions and we'll make more videos answering them!
Are extracts made in a lab and contain chemicals made by humans?
I placed an order for 2 flavors a couple months ago, directly from natures flavors website.. carrot cake and butterscotch.. i purchased these for diy eliquid. I wish i would have seen this video first because the flavors i got were very muddy looking so i just sent them back to you. I was kinda hoping you guys would end up sending me the right one but that didn't happen. Now i know i was told that they couldn't be replaced because i had opened them, but had you replaced them anyways and lost a couple bucks... it would have paid off in the future. If you knew how much i spend on flavors you'd really regret losing me as a customer.
I purchase flavorings from a multitude of different places and at all those other places they make sure and resolve any problems even when its not their fault... you wanna know why? Because they look at my order history and see that i spend ALOT of money. Maybe you should put on your website that you do not support vaping at all.
Hi Sean,
We have not endorsed the use of our products for vaping as they are intended for food applications, and I apologize that it is not clearly stated on our website as such. We offer many flavors, many of which people have stated that they use for vaping and have enjoyed, but knowing that they do so at their own risk. Our coffee and tea flavors without diacetyl are a popular category among said customers. I found some bit of information when looking up "nature's flavors vaping" that will link you to some forums where people discuss our products for such uses. I apologize for the misunderstanding and hope to hear from you soon!
