    Thank you so much for this video - i've been so upset - bought machine for my boyfriend's birthday and then it wasnt working, tried everything in the instructions and was waiting for a call back from customer services - in the meantime, found this and IT WORKS NOW!!!! You saved the day! Thank you.

    Thanks, resetting actually worked. I've read that these have a high failure rate. Going to try descaling it as well.

    I have this machine and a Vertuo Plus. The Plus is way better. No issues. Thank you for the help! I'm going to try these fixes on my Next.

      Same here, Nespresso sent me the plus after these issues lol, just have to call them and they will send it. Love it but now I'm running into the same thing and may do a video as well lol

    I love how you took the time to remind us to never to buy one of these. I certainly regret buying mine. Nespresso appear to be completely oblivious to the inferiority of their line of new coffee machines.

      Call nespresso they will send you the nespress plus for free and it's so much better!

    It was the spindle that was jammed for me due to not cleaning it 😅
    After turning it back and forth a few times my Nespresso machine started to make coffee again!

    Thank you . blinking twice as in the video . i descaled but still dont brewed coffe . I factory reset as this GENIUS sead and voila ! working again . TAKE AWAY IS THIS ; AFTER DESCALING IS A MUST TO FACTORY RESET THEN START AGAIN CONNECTIVITY AND BLUETOOTH PAIRING IN NESPRESSO APP .

    OMG this worked!!!!! Why did this happen just after I used the pour over size capsule? Did the large size throw it off that it needed to be reset?

    After trying all the suggested fixes, I was so hopeful! But, unfortunately, this didn't work for my virtuo next machine. I've done the factory reset, descaling, cleaning, the spinner is loose and free-spinning. I am using a silicone cap on refilled Nespresso capsules and this worked fine, until it didn't. I have tried also with original Nespresso pods to see if it was the reusable ones, but the same thing happens. Please let me know if you have any other thoughts. Thanks.

    Can't wait to try this when I get home. I couldn't get my coffee this AM, had to go back to the Keurig ☹ I hope I can get it to work. My machine isn't even really that old at all

    I was having a similiar issue. Cleaned as best I could, cleaning and descaling cycle. But the issue is the bearing. It’s slowly getting grit and grime in it causing that spindle to not spin smoothly triggering thee error system. Hence why when you manually turn the spindle your breaking up the grime in the bearing allowing it to move but it’s a short term fix.
    These machines may make a delicious cup of coffee but are overly complicated. I still love my mocha pot on the stove as the best source of good coffee. No moving parts, last decades, may need a new silicone gasket every few years that’s it.

      Agreed! I called nespresso and got an updated version sent at no cost. Works way better and no issues so far after months of use. But pods are also expensive so I still use a regular Mr coffee haha

      @@soberservants had my Next since 2020 so almost 3 years now.
      I may attempt the bearing replacement myself. Caveat being with the whole hearted expectation I’m going to fail and just buy a new machine 😂. But hey might get lucky

    Cheers boss, worked for me so far!, I took your advice and didnt buy one of these, was given it as a non worker, if it hadn't started I woulda pulled apart and scavenged parts for projects, I can already tell, I hate this machine, I hate Nespresso as a company!, I hate their marketing strategies and trying to buy a few pods when you have to buy 50, no can buy in supermarket? It a bloody joke..

      Does anyone know if there's a fix for these things yet because I got one for Christmas unfortunately not the model I wanted but whatever. Being already disappointed with what I ended up with I gave it a try and did like some of the coffee in the starter pack but hated that it only brewed 5 ounces of coffee at a time. Anyway, I got the 18oz Carafe pods and I'm wasting them because the stupid thing is continuing to only brew a couple oz. Can't seem to find a fix even after factory resetting the machine

    Just got mine,
    Never used it and it keeps doing this. Descaling it water came out but never when I actually go to make coffee. Keurig was the Better answer:/

    This method is the descaling. Not the reg mode for brewing .

    wtf it worked for me, just made 2 cups of coffee. hopefully it keeps working. also i have never descaled the machine since i got it, i just till now heard of that. ordered some nespresso descaling packets, thanks for the heads up dude. peace

      So glad to see that! Same happened for me so I had to re create the video lol! Nespresso has a new version they will send you if you have the vertuo next. They discontinued it with all the issues

    Mine is doing the same thing I thought it was because I needed to descale and no I haven’t been able to use it for the last month but is it because I leave it plugged in and make a cup of coffee every 3 days sometimes or I’ll go a week without making a cup. Or now it’s trying to make a cup. The way I’m about to fix it is the trash can. Or buy a new one and return this one it it’s lace I don’t have the receipt. I thought it was working great till……… now

    Orange light means it needs descaling... It's not an error. It's actually a clever feature

    didn't work for me so I took the machine to the The sink use the sprayer handle and wet the h*** out of it The top where it spins and that stupid little clear and black cup you can't remove Now it works Was about to throw it in the trash that was a last dish effort

    This model sucks, this happens constantly even after descaling. Calling customer service not very helpful, I was spoken to like I was a five year old.I have had 2 prior Nespresso machines, I know how to descale etc. This machine is poor quality

    Mine is leaking on the side...it brews the coffee but on the capsule container 🫠🫠🫠 can't fix it
