Curious as to why they removed the six star wanted level. Previous GTA games had it. Also the additional vegetation makes it look more realistic imo, but perhaps there were performance issues at the time with it.

RDR 1 was very realistic for its time and had a lot of detail (THIS WAS ON CONSOLE) GTA V should have the BETA vegetation, the beta version had so much good stuff :(
Lamar's 3d model is also very detailed as a secondary character. I had a glitch in wich I was able to play him in first person mode.

The vegetation and sandstorms would've added a whole different feeling to the game
But that would've made the minimum requirements for PC very high as it would've been a RAM consumer.
I didnt even noticed until this moment, how mutch vegetation is missing in the game, it is really boring that everything is plain, no trees on the mountains, or in parks.

Except the "Kill Franklin" ending, I wish the other 14 beta features had been kept in the final version.
And I also understand that the game was originally planned to be sad & painful like GTA 4 with no real happy ending but I'm glad they changed the C one, which lets you kill Stretch, Steve Haines, Wei Cheng, and Devin Weston instead of keeping them alive.
But I like the kill Franklin ending, because then you would have been able to be Lamar.

I love how they removed the music for whenever the characters passed the mission since it didn’t sound that good and how they removed the option to kill Franklin. It sucks that we couldn’t get the 6 star wanted level to get the military to attack us

Lamar is technically a playable character you just have to go inside of director mode and select the Lamar character.
Also playable as a bodyguard in a mission in gta online
But in Dorector Mode, literally EVERYONE is playable.
I know the Option C Beta ending was supposed to be serious, but the credits and theme rolled in so fast I couldn’t help but laugh.

indeed, Once talk surfaced about next gen and Even PC ports it was brought back up however given crossplay was becoming popular they wanted to make sure they had the window if and whenever they needed to make the choice. Given it'd be odd for PC players hit tree's Consoles didnt see.

It's like he's seen everything and decided to just end it there.
One has to remember that this game was released back in 2015 for PC's and 2013 for consoles, and some of these beta things that were removed in the final would just be too much to handle for the PS3/X360 back in the day. Just about the same for PC, I remember the game running back then on almost only high-end computers and one needed even something better to run the game smoothly. Now imagine if they didn't remove (for example) all that gorgeous vegetation and sandstorm. It would for sure kill smooth gameplay on consoles and most PC's.
BTW, I can see Rockstar bringing some of this stuff back at the 10th anniversary of GTAV as some "enhanced" or "remastered" (paid) update or something similar.. 😂
by 2015 Im pretty sure that 70% of us played the game at most in medium settings 720p
That's some BS excuse considering modders have added graphical improvement and more features and it doesn't take much hit on performance on PC.
Most modern pc can handle the game.
They even re released gta 5 for ps5 but did not add any of the cut content it's just due to sheer negligence or laziness to story mode Rockstar only cares about milking gta online.

When making the game for ps3 and xbox 360, the vegetation had to be cut down to handle the fps better in game. I'm not sure why rockstar didn't add the missing vegetation back on ps4, xbox one and pc. My guess is that the new gen consoles where new technology to them and only had time for graphical enhancements. The pc port was more about 60fps and improved graphics again.

One small thing that everyone forgets is all the free vehicles you could get if you bought a garage in the PS3 version
I think the dismemberment feature could be pretty cool if it wasn't overused. For example if you lost a limb when running into a airplane propeller

Smoke in the water is a shop. I own it as Franklin
Vegetation would add more, life to the game
And we don’t need to kill Franklin to play as L.D. We can use him in director mode
I don't understand why it's 4 sections in the circle and Lamar just wasn't part of the main characters. Was killing Franklin necessary to make Lamar a playable character? I like Franklin and if I had to kill him Michael or Trevor I was never going to complete the game 🤷♀️

In RDR2, you can shoot people’s limbs off. You can also crouch. However, in GTA V, these never made it into the full game.

In rdr2 they had The whole Rockstar company working on it. GTA V was only made by The Californian studio. So Thats why there Are so Many details and hidden things in The game.

I think the reason the Mission Passed themes went unused was likely because they used songs that Rockstar didn't have the licenses to Franklin's theme is West Coast Rock by The Glitch Mob, and Michael's theme is from the soundtrack to the Paramount released film The Keep.

As I continue to enjoy GTAV since day 1,
I can see myself later looking back at this GTA just wishing Rockstar had done DLC with the Story, all these unused places & even now what is usable in online there could’ve been so much more for the story
Imagine being a sound designer, coming up with these mission passed themes that suits each character perfectly and then it never gets used

This game probably could have been one of the greatest of all times. Had they went with features of the original beta version. Finished off the story. And put various side activities in from gta 4 and san Andreas. Added the realistic physical systems of rdr 2, with the driving mechanics of gta 4. Put all that alongside with how far gta:online has come. And boom! You'd probably have the best game of all time. The story and character development of gta 5 is severely underrated. And yes Niko Belic is probably the better more likeable character. And yes San Andreas was a better open world sandbox. But the dynamic between the 3 main protagonists in gta 5 was impeccable. It added a layer of replayability that goes far beyond its years. Props to the voice actors who played them.

In GTA V i really miss the 6 Star wanted Level, but i know a very good Helicopter that the N.O.O.S.E or the Army could use when 6*: the Annihalator Stealth, He is from the Cayo perico heist and he have the Feature that 4 Persons can rapple down at the same time! It would be so cool when Rockstar add this in GTA 6

Could've been cool to have unique themes like in GTA IV. True, these ones sucked except Trevor's, but I like to imagine Franklin's theme having a GTA San Andreas vibes, and Vice City vibes to Michael's.
