Previously known as the Lexington Plaza Waterfront Hotel SERVICE & TRANSITIONS -- 👎Not off to a great start: $75 early check-in fee (A new record!), on-top of the $20/day resort fee.💸 Upgrading to a double room was also ($25) more expensive in-person than online. 💸💸 Quieren todos plata🙄. Staff were nice & accommodating, particularly the speedy housekeeping employees. Phone service was also consistently courteous & timely. The Lobby: minimal with an awkward orientation; not the best flow & really dry for a transition space. Laundry services were free & the condition of the room+machines was immaculate. Noon checkout-- we like to see it! -- with a 12:30pm (30m) late checkout offered. It's a pity the website does such a meager job representing its accommodations... They're much more comfortable & spacious than depicted. The entryways are awkward though: a full-size refrigerator in your egress is strange; better to have and not need... as they say. Thermostat being capped at 68 was a bummer on higher floors. BED -- 👍 great. A plush & redeeming nights sleep on luxury bedding. Sheraton Sealy sleeper mattresses were in fantastic condition. Firmness was just the right level, paired with toppers softer than clouds. Sheets were noteworthy too: airy, breathable, and smooth to the touch (60:40 poly blend). Comforters felt equally cozy. BATH -- 👍 ok. Large dimensions 😃... with a trite wallpaper 😕, & the ghastly zero-entry shower😞. The half-pane is a frustrating trend & functionally an annoyance. Double rooms have the better shower installation: an alcove combination soaking tub🛁. Maintenance needs improvement: exhausts was weak & our shower curtains were in tatters-- Tighten up folks! TV/ENTERTAINMENT -- 👎 poor. Budget TV & Remote solution; some TVs are modern while others are a relic from the distant past... It's a literal lottery. Dimensions, picture quality, & capabilities were hardly functional. The whole system routinely crashed displaying "No signal". 🤦♂ IMHO, just pretend it doesn't exist and enjoy the abundant activities around the property: lively lounge, ping pong, swimming, tanning, spa, & bird watching.
