Raptors team embraced Kawhi when he came to Toronto. The team embraced him even when he wasn’t playing because of load management. Everybody knew their assignment when Kawhi wasn’t playing. If we compare Kawhi’s Clippers teammates, they didn’t embrace him like Toronto did. You have Patrick Beverly and Monztrel Harrell complaining about Kawhi’s load management. JJ forgot to mention the sensational shot he made with 3: 27 left in Game 7 where he rolled out of bounds after the shot. After he caught the pass he took a full 4 steps with NO gather before shooting and scoring a "long 2" (Marv Albert). Physician, heal thyself.

He did travel. It's just that, although actually stated in the rulebook to the letter, refs simply don't call travel anymore unless its an BEYOND obvious one like when Westbrook walked up court with the ball in hand vs the Warriors. Even then they almost didnt call it. lol
