The way MJ looked at Steph at the start of this video, almost like a proud father looking at what his son has achieved. MJ played with Steph's dad in the NBA and likely saw Steph as a little boy looking on, and now Steph is one of the best players in the NBA. MJ's probably more amazed at the fact that Steph is dominating without being blessed with the elite athleticism that MJ himself had
People underrate how skilled mj is. And bro you know if Steph was bigger he most likely wouldn’t be as quick and mobile, which are the best qualities to being a good shooter on the move, going around screens, cuts, changes in direction. (Steph’s speed is underrated). There’s always going to be a possible trade off to having more size. And like I said, some of those layups mj made you aren’t going to make with just pure athleticism. Ever since kobe passed away Jordan has kept his end of the bargain and has opened up more and is smiling alot more, he has done a few interviews lately but this one.. man this one he felt really comfortable and really let his gentle side out.
This is great. Can’t help but think how amazing it would’ve been to see Kobe and MJ speak like this.
Two of the most inspirational players of all time. This is a legendary moment.
Outstanding interview, and you can see Curry is really listening, learning and has such respect. Elite competitors who are the BEST to ever do it in the history of mankind. Wow.
He truly loves and admires MJ. Michael loves steph too.
He has trouble looking michael directly in the eyes at first. Must be intimidating
Look at Jordan, man... So inspirational
People forget that in addition to being the GOAT, Michael Jordan is the wealthiest athlete of all time, and in large part (thanks mostly to his mother, initially), paved the way for all athletes to make SERIOUS money doing what they do. From those those two standpoints, it's a massive honor to talk to him.
Truth. He is a cultural icon beyond America as well plus his impact here in Europe is exceptional to this day. I can't imagine that someone will ever top that
Just his mother?
fark off, he loves and respects his mother, so do I, she is a great woman.
but without his FATHER we never would have heard of MJ.
EVERYONE knows his need to prove himself to his father and competing with his brother Larry is what made him a competitive freak.
and he like most with no father would be a whiney b*tch with no work ethic growing up without a father and WOULD NOT be able to conduct himself so professionally and control his ego as he does.
its the BASKETBALL skills that got him even in the position to get that Nike deal in first place.
We live in a society where we prop up women and pretend fathers don't matter, this sh has to stop.
ever occur to you its probably why the movie makes out it was ALL about his mother? (I've only seen previews).
BOTH his parents were intelligent hard working people.
Wealthiest of all time, Ronaldo exists ☠️ other sports but basketball American
@@chandlerw865unfortunately ronaldo knows who is the richest and the reason why nike is at the top of the world: Air Jordan
@@chandlerw865Ronaldo isn’t even worth a b yet nor is Messi. LeBron is worth almost the same as those combined.
MJ is worth those two, added together times two or three.
My Dad once said, "I play better under pressure." And he did. What an athlete he was. RIP, Roy Gabriel.

R. I. P.
Rip to your dad.
" competetive juices, competetive standpoint " those are words that will always come out of MJ's mouth no matter the subject.
It shows how articulate they are, how smart and composed they can be as well. Alot of athletes that have gone on to work in TV aren't nearly as polished and comfortable as these two. If Jordan or Steph wanted to really work in TV they'd kill.
The only way Jordan would work on TV is if he's told he can't do it.
@@jasondyrkacz8270 Hahah! Perfect response.
If MJ cared about his image and media like LeBron, he would be the most popular athlete in the world, even over Ronaldo. His shoes is the biggest brand in the world, eventho he doesn't even show up anywhere to talk about it ever. Lol. No Twitter, No Insta etc.

MJ is the best basketball player in history...made my middle school years more happy 😁👍
I felt like I was Steph Curry, interviewing Michael Jordan. It’s great just seeing MJ’s personal side. For so many years he was like a God, sitting high, so high, above us in terms of basketball talent and in celebrity. But here he is just talking to Steph Curry like he’d be talking to anyone. Love interviews like this.
Steph isn't just anyone .. he changed the game so he's formidable. I get what you're saying though
Mike don’t respect many ball players but he Love Steph and he genuinely Respect Currys accomplishments and Rings in the game of basketball
You would love the cigar aficionado interview.
@@legitelectronics9163 I’ve seen it. Another great one!
@@tommybrown7529 there Both from Charlotte
MJ should start a weekly motivational podcast, his voice is just so assuring while always commanding attention and respect.
Michael Jordan rap song, hope everyone likes it :). ruclips.net/video/Gv22KN3afBY/видео.html
please don't put him near ESPN or Skip pleaseee 🙏🙏🙏
Jordan asmr 🥵
When MJ speaks......everyone listens......love the way his approach to things.....he has a book before called "I can't accept not trying" in there he talks about his mental approach to winning and losing.....he has depth in how he sees things.
As a fellow North Carolinian and Tarheel (UNC) alum, I am so proud of these two North Carolinians who have both changed the game of basketball in their own way.
Curry is my idol, and I train practice everyday because of him. My biggest struggle is shooting and to almost miss every time makes me so mad, but I keep it going. Im going to try my best to be the best. Curry you keep me going, and have my respect.
Keep shooting, keep working, work smart and stay confident when you shoot, do your research as well.. you’ve got it!
Look at curry man, such an inspiration.
remember me when you go to the NBA @Attack on Titan: Last Choice
Curry is like looking at his Christmas gift like a child, and who can blame him, it is freaking Michael Jordan!
true if you see one of the video clip when he was a kid he was asking for an autograph with mj and he actually look like this is in this vid. 🤣
I mean, his father works for the Hornets and his hometown is in Charlotte. He prolly see MJ all the time during the summers.
@@kelancameron1625 They are actually closer than what people think, their families are very close and Dell and MJ have played golf together for years, Steph just doesn't let on to how close he really is with MJ but who can blame him, he has enough of jealousy coming from players.
