    Thank you !
    It's such a long wait to get it out of China, and such a mystery that it is not listed on Hantek's site, that your video is a balm on the "does this thing even exist ?" wound.
    On paper it has better specs than DSO5102P while being cheaper... but I started to be so disappointed by the wait and lake of information that I was about to cancel my order. Not only you prove it exists but you show how it looks neat, no obvious bugs (is this really a Hantek product ??? XD ) I guess you've just helped a bunch of people to find some patience.

    I measured DSO2D10 from the output of 74lvc1g14 tr-1.5nS, the bandwidth of the oscilloscope is 250 MHz. With a bandwidth of 100 MHz, the readings were a pulse rise time of 3.5 nS

    • @xistencestudios8904
      @xistencestudios8904 3 года назад

      Do you have any waveforms to view ? The specs of the 2D10 says 3.5ns so if you got that then it's in spec nothing extra. It's 2.3ns for the 150MHz model

    Bought the DSO2D15 model, only months later I discovered it has Trigger Level problems with signals below 300 mVpp @ 1 KHz. I did all the firmware updates, still the traces run on the screen, no way to stop them. Things get worse if you keep the oscilloscope on for more than ten minutes.
    Then, if you select a 50 mVpp sine wave with the internal signal generator, the image is strongly noisy, distorted.
    I contacted Hantek several times, they wanted a video of mine showing the issue. Sent the video twice in a month, then Hantek disappeared. I re-sent a final e-mail today, I am waiting for a sign of life from them. At this moment no help at all, their after sale sucks.
    I did a BIG mistake, I should have bought a Tektronix instead but you only learn these things later...

    I’m hoping you can help me. I just got a Hantek DSO2D15. The trigger setting in 10X mode is not stable. I’m not sure if my scope is broke or if it’s a defect in the software. It seems to work fine in 1X mode.
    Set the scope in 10X mode. Connect the probe to a power source - I used the 5 volt probe check. Set the trigger or hit the Autoset button. Now adjust the volts per division a few times. Does your trigger setting drop down to 0?
    Thanks for your help and keep up the great videos.

    I don't know why there is no mention of an output tone from the Signal Generator.... I know that the generator outputs a sine-wave because I can see it on the scale... but is there also a signal tone for a radio speaker that you can physically hear from a speaker ? I'm trying to do a shortwave radio alignment and I need to physically hear the 455Khz audio signal tone from the generator.

    • @javiermitchell7073

      To hear sound you need a speaker, as far as I am aware the scope does not have a speaker, nor do I recall hearing any sound from it!

      You ca measure voltages, for AC values will be more accurate than a multimeter. If the capacitor still has voltage, you can measue it, but most probably has gone flat

    Aren't you concerned at how noisy and unstable the signal was on the scope?

    • @Todestelzer
      @Todestelzer 3 года назад +1

      Higher bandwidth more noise. The unstable signal is probably from the signal generator.
      But Hantek isn’t the best scope manufacturer. I’m not sure if this would be the best choice and it’s only a 2 Chan scope.
      I did a project with a 3 phase DC motor and 4 Chan was the minimum to get it done.

      The only place I found the specs are n the bangood Site:
      www.banggood.com/Hantek-DSO2D15-Dual-Channel-+-AFG-Digital-Storage-Oscilloscope-150MHz-1GSa-or-s-Signal-Generator-Oscilloscope-2-In-1-p-1766504.html?cur_warehouse=CN
      You can see that for square wave the limit is 10Mhz:
      Sin Frequency range 0.1Hz~25MHz
      Square/pulse Frequency range 0.1Hz~10MHz
      Triangular wave Frequency range 0.1Hz~1MHz
      Sampling wave Frequency range 0.1Hz~1MHz
