This will format only OS partition or All System partitions???

The OS partition is D: and Windows always reside on C: drive also known as C: partition but commonly it is the C: drive where Windows will install. The D: partition hardly ever change, it is the system recovery named by Microsoft. The only time you lose D: Partition is when the entire hard disk drive has a mechanical failure and the Motherboard no longer recognized the HDD. This can be tested in the BIOS menu.

I can't get my dell to go to that screen, I have a disk read error message and need to reset it fast. So I can get back into classes.

After you click restart and dell, restart windows screen --- "which key you pushed" to make "Setup is preparing your computer for first user" screen shown up. I did not push any key and my desktop screen is black. Please help me !!!!!!!!!!

I successfully restored it and hit restart. But then ưindows doesnt startup normally. It keeps startup repairing and fails and ask me to restart/shutdown my laptop. It keeps repeating it. Anyone has any idea?
