I know with Devin's attention to detail this build will be fantastic. The stock motor was state of the art back in the day with VTEC high revving engine with titanium connecting rods. This modern transformation will be a treat to see.
I’m all in for watching you build this NSX!! The K swap is 💯 the way to go. My good friend just finished swapping in the K series from a 2018 Accord and also rewired the whole car with all of the modern components from the donor car: parking sensors, lane departure, blind spot monitoring, keyless touch entry, the 8 speed auto with shifters, the complete instrument bezel and more.
3:57 Join both plastics with cyanoacrylate, then add baking soda to that union. Repeat the process 3 times. That solder will be more solid than a new one. I am very happy that this car is in your hands.

I know it’s the first time pulling these, easiest way I’ve seen is, pulling the entire subframe, knuckles, axles, suspension motor and trans all at once. Still did a great job and made it work, can’t wait to see where this goes 🤘🏻
Hi Devine, I'm delighted that you chose that car to be your new project. My opinion is to remove the engine and sell the gearbox and order a new engine, because it is easier in your country than in my country. but a wonderful choice and I want that car to be your most favorite project. I researched a long time ago and the Japanese say that the k20c2 and k20c3 are the most durable. but a few years later they made the k24 A2 in that model as the best, which is the 30 v6. with a 6-speed gearbox.
This reminds me of when my dad and I rebuilt a 95 Targa-Top nsx, original motor in it had a massive oil leak, we just replaced it with another C motor he found, and ran beautifully until it unfortunately hydroplaned, now he just has a silver 91 quick flash tune, nsx-r gears he had lying around, and an exhaust, I love that car, really zippy too, unfortunately he might sell it in spring time though. But I hope that K swap goes well!

I think it would be cool to see a race track/ street build since the NSX was influenced by the likes of Senna. The K series Id imagine is quite a bit lighter and being such would likely make this car an absolute weapon on the track with the right supporting mods!
great plant to decide to start with, the classic nsx kyle over at the boostedboiz has one that he runs or used to run the roll races then he has another black one that not sure what hes doing yet lol but yeah, you made the right choice on going with the k20 or k24 for this build, its the motor setup i would of went with as well, excited to keep up progress on the build brotha. ready for more!
So many cool kits for these cars. I used to live by a guy who had some crazy 12 piece kit on his and it was sick to see every day. Cool to see you building this thing! If they really want to question the swap they can go watch a boosted Boiz video of kyles that makes 1000hp lol. Not saying that's where you are headed but it's an insane nsx with a k swap.
Love it ❤ go with JDM K24 out of TSX with slim baffled oil pan, RSX Type S oil pump to rev it up to 9K, if you planing to go NA then swap head with JDM K20 out of JDM RSX Type R (people claim that it will give better high end but im not sure about that tho! 😅) and high compression pistons.The RSX Type s have 6 speed as well.
When you took the hatch off it looked like an el Camino that Honda should have built. Devin knowing you this car will be balls to the wall, k24 turbo awd 🤔, also might as well repaint it while you are at it
Damn i can't lie I actually like the sound of the V6 with a good exhaust so I think ur wrong there but I can tell you've made up your mind so I can't be mad at that.
I wish he would keep the C series, but I do agree with him, the automatics were always slower, and performance mods for them are always expensive, I remember as a kid my dad loved his nsx and did everything to it, but even back then parts and mods are a fortune for those motors.
Sure certain V6 engines sound nice. But lets be honest a V6 from an NSX does not have the same aftermarket support like other V6 engines like the VQ35's from the 350z and 370z.
I got to admit, watching you do it I was screaming at my phone Noooo that's a wrong way of doing itttttt..... I've used to drop minimum 1 to 2 engines on the NSX. We ran time attack NSX FXMD . My record to drop an NSX motor was 45 minutes. So watching you, but yet, understanding it was your 1st time was very hard, hahaha. If you need any tips, let me know.
