A couple ways: 1. Of course play SC and then find a game thats playing that map. Then you should be able to acess it immediately in game. Or 2. sc.nibbits.com/maps/browse/ums/?sort=downloads&order=desc Go to this website and download whichever map you would like. Ensure that the map is in the downloads folder for SC. I am busy with life but you guys are welcome to ask for a tutorial... just may be a minute lol
One thing that was always super disappointing about sc1 was the map sprite(?) limit. When you couldn't make anything because there's too much on the map already. Ruined 4v4s, ruined a lot of UMS games... just such a bummer of a limitation.

You can put it on extended and Ums maps have EUD now which by pass that limit

oh and as terran you don't use a structure that can produce units to spy on enemies, you use an engineering bay.
