Haha, love this video! So true about fleece and it's so funny as i think it's their job as soon as you are done with cleaning, especially the weekly deep clean, i know Harriet makes it her number one job to poop in her hammock as soon as she is in!

I spot clean in the morning and evening then do a full cage clean on Friday. I use fleece liners and fleece pads. I have a 3 X 6 and a 2 X 4 cages with 14 inch grids. 3 piggies, Ms. Eevee prefers to have her own space, can enter active with Lucy and Gabby through the grids. I appreciate the consistency of the quality of Small Pet Select Timothy hay!

i clean all five cages every day, two washes a day with the mats and pads. then on a saturday six washes as i change the bottom fleece as well lol

So cute! Same thing with hamster enclosures. They need large cages, at least 450 sq inches for dwarfs and 600 sq inches for Syrians, and both with at least 6 inches of bedding. The larger the cage, the less you’ll need to clean it, about 1x/week. 👍🏽
