J’apprécie beaucoup l’approche technique de Mr journe. Il est rare de l’entendre commenter le dessin de ces montres. On sent que la mécanique reste son principal centre d’intérêt. Voilà pourquoi ces montres m’intéressent tant!!!
Although I'm not huge fun of the watch design. However the movement is mesmerising....I must admit that the man is a genius... And yes you are very lucky Marc Andre..... Viva watch making from locked down Lyon...
Mr. Journe is a mad, mad GENIUS! Just....absolutely, unabashed genius. I've watched the video six times today!!! Gorgeous, ingenuitive, confident....amazing.
On ne se lasse pas d’écouter l’histoire de la résonance. L’influence de la dualité est remarquable. Dufour et Journe sont les Beatles de l’horlogerie contemporaine.
I have deep respect for this man, would love to own a FPJ watch one day. In some ways he reminds me of Jacob ( Jacob & co) that also create very special watches like the Astronomia & Twin turbo lines which is more wild and expressive in the design of cause.
Jacob is a sellout at this point, no class whatsoever to his pieces. He is pushing out volume and numbers. He's a jeweler after all. FP Journe has more of a passion and love for the watches. Everything is meticulous. Well made and excellent fit and finish. I will most certainly by one very soon when I find the right one in the market!!! Cheers
@@ubedube1892 Okay ha ha, I know not that much about Jacob, I was just impressed with the Jacob twin turbo and Bugatti watch when they came out and l have always loved FP's work. I know they are very different guys with different background. Well let us not talk more about this subject, my apologies for making any comparison. May time be kind to you and may you prosper in this crazy 2020.
My fav FPJ. Once a friend told me that he had traded his entire collection for a PP and I thought I would never do that (especially for a PP - they look so bland for me). But the Chronomètre à Résonance made me reconsider my position! I would give it all and would add $$ on top in a heartbeat.
Great vid, as usual JC. It seems like complication for complications sake - to show how clever he is. It doesn't achieve anything that a single good movement can't do. I'm sure it's great engineering but it all seems 'Heath Robinson' to me.
Saw the original watch last week - I mean the one by Breguet. Strange that no one can give a rational explanation how the 'resonance' actually works with this layout - or even if it exists. I suspect not.
An absolute genuis of a craftsman or -woman has been working on this piece for months. It's absolutely fascination how the result can turn out so ugly!
wow, I cannot believe that a mechanical fusee can achieve such precision when my son's 25th birthday quartz max bill was 'designed not to be accurate' AD email
Great piece Marc Andre thank you. Viva!
Thank you too!
I really like the double movements. Excellent filming and presentation as always.
Very special indeed!
Nice video guys, FPJ rocks :)
Thanks my friend!
Brilliant, Marc Andre. Thanks 👍

Quite different I would say ;) much more traditional but still very innovative
@@watchestv-com All Im saying is that to me they are men cut from same cloth, seeking their own path in a very innovative way.

Interesting that you di so!
@@watchestv-com Believe it or not, the Prince Regent's Breguet 'a resonance' was for sale - but then suddenly it wasn't.
I would love to know more about the remontoir in this watch.... His other remontoirs produced deadbeat seconds...
My school boy French made it difficult to make out what he was saying. However the pictures can only be described as 'magnitique'
Thanks a lot! Merci

Journe its the A. L. Breguet of modern times
I think he would rather appreciate this comment ;)
Need to own some independent watch maker specially this brand. I love the Quantieme Perpatuale.
Black tie watch!
Very chic!!!
super vidéo, il a quoi au crâne FP Journe ?
Une vielle cicatrice, c'est tout ;)
Des belles idees, pleines de poesie, de grâce.

PRECIO????
surely you can get a Cern person to explain the resonance ....
:)
👍👍
Two balance wheels in one watch mean twice the price in service 🤣😂 no thanks
