      Everyone needs to calm down and get a grip. Yes we know United had a good run lasting years, and we know United fans think they're entitled. But the Prem is the best and most competitive league in the world for a reason, and you're acting like United are fighting relegation. I mean look at Leicester, Newcastle, Leeds and Everton at the moment.

    • @xenon8342
      @xenon8342 2 года назад +9

      You mean Leeds who are going for their last roll of the dice, desperately trying to change things till it works?
      You mean Newcastle, who have completely turned their ship and are now genuinely looking like there's a possibility of top half?
      You mean Everton who nearly held man city after their manager change, if not for a penalty call that the FA actually apologised for?
      You mean Leicester who have given Liverpool a series of bloody noses all season, and who are only in the lower half because of all their postponed games?
      United were a giant, are still meant to be a giant, they still spend the highest and make the most. In my mind the important thing is punching above your weight, like all those "failing" teams are. united though are punching well, well below theirs.

      @UChbH9Tz4k-VLmzGxY3ZF4Iw I'm a Liverpool supporter and we went through something similar, however, when Gérard Houllier was appointed, we managed to somewhat, stabilise as a club and win some silverwear and the same with Benitez. Feels a little different with utd at the moment. Maybe that's board level filtering down? Is it wokism? Has mental toughness been eroded finally because agents are so powerful to manipulate for a move so there's never accountability? Soon, we will get woke managers... (these players going on to coach)... And then, I feel football will be dead.
      But the league needs these GREAT rivalries that carry on all season... Not just for 1 competitive match.

    The main problem is frequent change of coaches in the post Fergusson era alongside poor recruitment - 5th now and potentially a 6th come August, same set of players are being retained with little changes. Despite the poor display, those players are confident of staying in the team with the coach potentially being sacrificed at the end of the season. The simple question is how many United players would enter City, Chelsea or Liverpool's first eleven ?

      @@rubenfrankish On the contrary, we have 17 points more than the same point last season. This is part of the problem with United and their fans. United looked decent for most of the first half. Then, through tiredness or broken will I don't know, they stopped pressing forward when they won the ball back. When UTD were rampaging through the premier league and Europe I sat watching Liverpool and I was envious you had steel through the middle of the team, you had flair where it is needed and you had a group of players who would run through brick walls for Ferggie. Christ even Beckham did more than his share even with an alice band but for all the fanfare surrounding him off field he backed it up on matchday. This shower you have now, well they play for themselves, never seem to roll the socks down and get dirty when its needed and seem more intent on what they are up to off filed than on it. As that Liverpool fan I now feel embarrassed for you, truly I do. Your great club is being dragged through the dirt by a group of self serving under achieving bang average players.
