    In a way, that's true. The only difference I wanted to make was that most Kan Bans include finished goods manufactured from a fixed bill of materials (BOM). Multiple operations will have work-in-process inventory - all waiting to move to the next operation once finished goods are ordered. With a Push-Pull, 75-80% comes from a fixed BOM, while the 20% comes from a semi-fixed BOM - thereby giving customers more options. Also, it's not always just a 2 stage process with Push Pull - it can be more.
