I always knew Faith could sing, she grew up singing Gospel in church but her live performances have been hit & miss. I saw this performance on TV and I literally died! She killed herself (in a good way!). She proves why she's had such a long career and should be recognized for her magnificent voice. I'm so happy someone put on youtube. I saved it om my DVR to watch it over and over!
you got that right,luv2snowbrd,Faith should have been nominated for ama's but I am glad Tim got a nod for best male vocalist. Man,she can belt out a song, love her.
gorrrrrrrrgeous. period. great acoustic start. and that voice. people, i am from texas originally but i do NOT listen to country music but this proves that a great voice is a great voice. this woman can SING. folks this ain't lip-syncing. listen to that, especially atthe 2:02 mark. WOW. i could listen to her voice forever. this is a solid, solid performance. good lord, she brings the house down. i just always loved this song. FAITH CAN SING.....can i hear an AMEN? thanks Faith
2:31 and beyond had my heart just poundiing... this was one of faith's best live performances ever.. and I have been a fan of her's since the beginning... she still amazes and surprises to this day with her vocal talents..
Still coming back to this. I like turning people on to this amazing performance. Just wish there was a slightly higher res version of this same performance out there. Anyone know of one?
2:30 and beyond when the back ground singers come in is so amazing. Faith took it to church and showed that she was not just a soft sensual singer but had powerhouse vocals as well. One of my favorite live performances. My second favorite is "When the lights go out" for her tv special.
fantastic voice, love her so much. she was great on martha stewart today also. even more relaxed on that show. talked about tim taking her to greece and then later mentioned how she wants to go to africa.and tim said they will when audrey is a little older and can appreciate and remember the place.
This ranks up there with live performances by Celine Dion singing "All By Myself, Alicia Keys, Grammy Performance as well as Mariah's Grammy Performance that same year or before.
I absolutely love faith hill. She puts so much feeling in her music. This was one of her best live performances. She has so many by herself and duets with her husband Tim McGraw!!!
i really miss this era of singers who could belt their notes. like really belt their notes. no one sings like this anymore. not even christina aguilera and kelly clarkson. i hope the 2 revert back to some belting.
Wow always loved her my love back the Robbie grey lead guitar player him and I always sang Faith Hill or Jeanne, Carter strawberry wine great time I miss him. Love you, Robbie Gray.
no I don't know,i tried that today and did not see anything, but it could have been put up there. martha asked her about her birthday surprise and also about how it is touring with tim and she loves being able to spend so much time with him. you can sure tell she loves her man,she was so relaxed on that show and talked about them building their first home from the ground up and having so much fun designing it.
@SuperKLC ,you have no idea what you are talking about Tim and Faith have 3 girls together, neither of them had children from a previous relationship. she was married to dan hill but they never had kids and Tim never had children with anyone else. they are both lucky to have each other.
@Xenitic I looked on your profile for a video of you singing this song (I would have been satisfied if you could sing it only HALF as well as Faith does), but it wasn' there. As a matter of fact, there wasn't a video of you singing ANY songs, or doing anything! So easy to talk smack behind a screen, ain't it? Psh! Get on camera and show the world that you're doing something, ANYTHING, worthwhile, and THEN you can talk.
great performance, hate the h-aint and ¨h-I just want us¨bullocks she clearly does not need these taught maneurisms to hit those notes , just get vowels right and shine even brighter.
I absolutely love this song but do not like the way she sing it off the original Melody. It actually kind of got a little yellly which in my opinion is something Carrie Underwood struggles with. What is it about modern day country singers that don't realize that their fans want to hear the music that they sing the way they hear it on albums? All they have to do is look to people like Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette to know this. The song already struggles to be a country tune and when she goes into all of these unnecessary runs and yelling and screaming it makes it even more noticeable. It comes across as blues.
Can’t control spirit, and soul, honey. Faith Hill was singing this song exactly the way she wanted to sing it. That’s the thing about music.. there’s no one right way to sing it. People are multidimensional beings. Who knows what was going on in her life at the time.
One of my favorite live performances ever. I keep this one on save. Absolutely amazing❤
absolutely AMAZING!!
Incredible performance. Arguably one of country's greatest voices.
Hands down. Her BEST vocal performance ever.
Such a strong vocalist!!
Faith is legendary and deserves more recognition in the music industry.
Still one of my favorites. Listening to it in 2021. Love Faith Hill.

Wow. New to Faith Hill - not a country fan, but this woman can sing. Amazing voice and delivery. Wow.

One of my favorite ballads of Faith's. She rocks at these kind of pop/soft rock ballads, why must she always go back to country?
Isn't she fabulous? These are the kind of songs Faith excels at...soul baby. :)
Thanks for posting.
2:31 and beyond had my heart just poundiing... this was one of faith's best live performances ever.. and I have been a fan of her's since the beginning... she still amazes and surprises to this day with her vocal talents..
Hell yeah she is the reason I fell in love with country music
Damn you guys are right i was sitting there and she took my breath away!
Faith sings with such emotion; she is awesome.
I’m not even a fan of country (totally opposite tastes...BUT, this is an absolutely, gut-wrenching powerful song/performance. Undeniably moving.
Still coming back to this. I like turning people on to this amazing performance. Just wish there was a slightly higher res version of this same performance out there. Anyone know of one?
quem não gosta de country não entende de música.
@@renannunes894 Concordo e muito. O country é um ritmo completo. Na composição, na parte instrumental, na parte vocal e na dança.
One of the best live performances so amazing!! Beautiful song! Faith is one of the most sexiest superstars ever!! ❤️
Let's give it up to her background singers woo!
I get goosebumps whenever i hear her sing, she is incredible and she is absolutely stunning!
amazing.. if it was possible, id have her sing this at my funeral... i could watch this over and over..
best live performance i have ever heard by anybody. Just awesome!!!

Oh, how beautiful!! Beauty and musicality combined...
fantastic voice, love her so much. she was great on martha stewart today also. even more relaxed on that show. talked about tim taking her to greece and then later mentioned how she wants to go to africa.and tim said they will when audrey is a little older and can appreciate and remember the place.

im not gonna cry, im not gonna cry ... still love this song
Man! She's just so damn awesome
one of the few in the business that doesn't need a strong line of backup to make her voice sound powerful...
Holy shit, she's amazing!
Great voice. Let's see and hear more of Faith....always been one of my faves! Classy, and pretty and oh so nice!
Pure feeling, mojo and beautiful sadness. Too many talented souls together. Awesomeness. Cheers from a (crying) brazilian! God bless!
This ranks up there with live performances by Celine Dion singing "All By Myself, Alicia Keys, Grammy Performance as well as Mariah's Grammy Performance that same year or before.
AMAZING! Post More. She and her band sound Great.
I absolutely love faith hill. She puts so much feeling in her music. This was one of her best live performances. She has so many by herself and duets with her husband Tim McGraw!!!

Great performance!
This is an amazing powerful moment. I didn't know she had this kind of voice
That vocal part after the guitar solo. Just wow.
I really wish she had released this as a single.
I wonder, why did Faith Hill stop producing and recording new music? She's one of the best artists in the music industry.
i really miss this era of singers who could belt their notes. like really belt their notes. no one sings like this anymore. not even christina aguilera and kelly clarkson. i hope the 2 revert back to some belting.
That TONE is just absolutely undeniable

She could unite a country after a nuclear war with that voice!
Also listen to Red Umbrella (my serenity song)
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Far out!
@SuperKLC ,you have no idea what you are talking about Tim and Faith have 3 girls together, neither of them had children from a previous relationship. she was married to dan hill but they never had kids and Tim never had children with anyone else. they are both lucky to have each other.
💗
and she's not even nominated for cma female vocalist of the year......When she sings this song, or any other, it puts the other nominees to shame.
Where has she been hiding this voice?
I've always liked her but I didn't know she was this good live. A lot of singers these days sound like crap live.
Uncle Larry on acoustic guitar... almost missed him with that long hair..
Uncle Larry!
Damn,,,,
But beautiful
Microphone cable; getting all old school.
Watch the bassist. Hah, awesome faces!
Shes beautiful! Too sad
Who is the guitarist to the right?
6 people wont be stronger
a youngish Tom Bukovac on acoustic guitar

Chorists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you not familiar with a Southern American accent at all? She's from the Deep South in Mississippi and lives in Nashville. Very Southern.
2:14
everyone can do that with auto tune on live. big deal...
I absolutely love this song but do not like the way she sing it off the original Melody. It actually kind of got a little yellly which in my opinion is something Carrie Underwood struggles with.
