Looks Nice but some Concerns: The HSP pipe is out of the cooling fan blast; do you get induced cooling issues? Also the HSP system blocks access to the drive belt pulleys... Fix one problem but possibly create others?
HELP!!!! first diesel and can't really find any info on where it would actually go....More of a question than comment. Stupid mistake but i lost the bolt of the return line from the fire wall down into the thermostat housing on the (right side/ drivers side facing the truck) and it slid down towards the block/ head. Tried an endoscope and magnet but no luck.. was wondering if you guys knew if i would be able to get it out of i take off the water pump? Or as a last resort leave it in there and pray it doesn't block the water to the head.
What about ca smog legal. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be but I know they are being pains no matter what. Like I have a ppe race fuel lug carb sticker on the inner fender well and the smog tech spent like 45-60 trying to confirm that the bolt /plug was installed and wanted me to remove the sticker if it wasn’t installed in the truck. I was when I just bought the truck so I wasn’t 100% sure if it was or not so I convinced him I would follow up and look into it and if it wasn’t I would remove the sticker. I don’t see why it would matter if the part was installed or not if it was legal. Maybe I like to run it sometimes and then other times I want to run the stock on (not sure why anyone would buy what if) if the part is carb legal what’s it matter if the part is there or not as long as I have the paper work. Stupid CA smog bull crap. While Some States could care less. It’s all the same air we breath so it’s all stupid anyways.

Can this be used on stock setups? On hsp's website it says for aftermarket turbo applications only.
This will work for the stock charger. IF you have an aftermarket charger WITHOUT a coolant feed then it is a different part number.

How do you bleed the system without the bleeder screw on the new housing?
We run the truck with the degas tank cap off to process the air through the system.
Does this mean you need to remove the radiator shroud or the fan shroud
What about the turbo coolant bypass valve ?
If you are installing a turbo without a coolant supply, HSP offers a Thermostat housing that DOES NOT include the turbo coolant connection.
How about the LBZ?
These are offered for the LBZ’s as well.
