Who needs tv or internet when you can look at, watch and enjoy all nature has to offer!!! Love your video's and what your doing with your space Laura!!
"I grow it for the love of growing. And giving it all away", she said. Is there any better motto in life? Rock on, Laura and Aaron, rock on. The Lord has truly blessed y'all. Thank you for taking us along on this journey, the good, the best, the fails, (very few!) and the very beautiful! Thank you
Oh please please do an non narrated video of pulling and cleaning the cut flower and veggie garden! I find those videos so satisfying and will give me the inspiration to get after mine. ❤️ maybe for the highlights channel...
It is amazing how many flowers are still blooming, we have had 28degree nights up here. The twin cities are zone 4 and our trees are losing leaves fast. Its been so much fun watching everything you've done this year and look forward to the 2021season.
My 6 year old son and I were watching this video snuggled in bed this morning. When you showed the Love in a Puff vine he said, "it looks like dancers!" And then later on he commented, "she really likes beautiful plants!" Have a great day!
Also, OMG, I LOVE Russell! I've always loved the polydactyls. I had a beloved Maine Coon cat name Max who had 7 toes on his front paws. He lived to be 21 years old and I miss him to this day. Visiting Earnest Hemmingway's estate in Key West was so much fun, seeing all the polydactyls on the property. He was quite the fan. Russell makes me want another one!
I love Russel’s personality. I remember when you first got him. What a rambunctious but sweet kitten. Really special. He’s a real ham. Miss him when he’s not in an episode.
Russell : "You have time to point to a flower you have time to scratch my ears." I am gobsmacked with the results of your efforts in the new space every time you show it. Wow! Who would have ever guessed?! Gives me hope : )
I live in Ag country and I LOVE the dried and slightly wilting crops like your sunflowers. We often get corn fields standing into February as they leave them up until they need the feed. Feels homey to me
The fall color “the trees” all around the property plus the the evergreens are amazing! The flowers of course are beautiful! Russell is the king of his land!
Every time I watch a video of yours without my 5 year old grandson I feel guilty, because he loves watching you show us your pretty flowers and of course, loves Russel's antics. I do save them to show him when I am with him. He cannot wait until next spring and even at his tender age has a list of flowers we should grow.
Russell is living his best life! I have loved watching your cut flower garden grow and flourish. It’s inspired me to expand my own flower bed and try new varieties. Your video is the first thing I watch every morning-just love you guys🥰🌸
Another tour aren’t we lucky yessssss, can’t get enough of Russell and look at all of those amazing looking foliage such beautiful flowers and trees 💚💚💚.
Laura, that was the most fun in such a short video! I feel like we grew those flowers together, and we all are enjoying those flowers! Thank you for that wonderful video! 🌻🌼🌸🌺
Laura watching your video this morning. I love how you treat your cats. Russell almost always appears. The fist thing I do in the morning is get up and check for your newest video. Makes my day!
This has been an especially horrific year for our family. I just want you to know what a bright spot in my day your videos are. Thank you for sharing your plants and knowledge with us. Your joy in growing things is such an uplifting experience. Your cut flower garden has been so fun to watch. And the Fall color on your trees!! Gorgeous. God has blessed us with you. One question: Where did you get your shirt and could you show what it says completely ?
Mary..praying for you..stay strong..and trust God in the storms of life. My family has been through alot too! Taking each day, step by step. Blessings and His peace to you.
mary setliff you are so right that Laura's videos provide such an amazing comfort and healing, and inspiration. Truly a highlight of any day, good or bad. I found that even watching about stuff I hardy care about definitely lifts my spirits. So sorry to hear your family is going through difficult times, stay strong and take care of yourself!
It's been an amazing and awesome year of Blessings and Knowledge! Just in my honest opinion, I think our sweet Heavenly Father, made sure that this year's normal issues weren't such biggies, because of all the unfortunate negativity in other areas that we have dealt with, it's like he was cutting us some slack in our daily lives...........not to mention the fact that most of which were spent home bound!! God is good and very gracious!! Much love and God bless.
This space has inspired me so much. I put in 6 fruit trees in my parents yard.. and now I am going to be building them a more formal garden area complete with sitting area, raised beds and drip... and I'm going to be growing my wedding flowers in it 😅 so all this inspiration has really just flooded their land because I'm a renter but I get to scratch my gardening itch and they get to reap the spoils!
Love watching your tours...I have learned a lot from you Laura and I'm grateful for that. Thanks for filming Russel's cuteness! He's a show stopper!lol
A lot of ground was covered today. I’d say this dust bowl of a space was very successful. Over 400 pumpkins and squash, 200 cantaloupe, 75-100 watermelon in a 40x60 foot space. It’s very apparent that you love to grow stuff and we benefit from your efforts. I think I’d like to live Russell’s life for a day. He is loved just as you love your family, community, and life. Thank you, Laura, again for sharing with us. Made my day!!
I enjoyed listening to you tell about how well your plants did or didn’t do in your new cut garden. The morning cast everything, including you, in a beautiful light. I loved how Russell trotted towards you when you first greeted him. He adores you and the rest of his family! I learned several things in this video: spacing between plants, overall size certain plants will grow, water requirements, when to harvest, frost tolerant plants...thank you for all that. Your hard work has blessed you with a bountiful garden. 🌻🤗❤️💐🍁😋😺🌼🌸🥒🌽🍅🧄🥔🧅🥕🥚🏆🥇Have a wonderful day!!
Thank you Laura, For talking and explaining your experience with your veggie and cut flower garden. You are the real thing. Truly honest about all your experiences Thank you! And Russel he his sure a character ❤️ the icing on the cake 😂
I do believe he is mamas guard cat. The way he kept stopping to scope things out. Then when he knows everything is okay he plays. Lol Lol But he is a treasure to watch. I think you are one of those rare people that need plants & flowers. The way you love them it's like they feed your soul. It's everything all wrapped up together. The colors, shape, texture, & the smell of the plants. It is beautiful to see the joy you get from them. It makes the rest of us want to know that joy when we garden in our gardens. It's also peaceful when you work in the garden. It helps relax you from whatever kind of day you've had. By the way those two trees in the background are absolutely gorgeous. The reddish orange one I noticed first, then the yellow one. Oh my stars how beautiful they look, just beautiful. TFS! Enjoy your day & say hi to everyone for me. P.S. I hope you are doing well & not suffering to much from the rib pain. My youngest is my tallest child. My whole pregnancy it felt like he would constantly get his heels, elbows or shoulders stuck in my right rib cage. I would have to go to the E.R. so they could get them out. Without breaking my ribs. The very last time right before he was born he dislocated 3 of my ribs, his arms & legs were so long he kept stretching. After he was born my mom went out & bought me a queen sized pillow for him to lay on while I nursed him. He was the longest baby to be born at the hospital at that time & his legs hung off my lap. He was all legs & arms. Poor thing stumble into everything when he was learning how to walk.
Such an amazing gardening experience with the new property, weather, watering & results! So fun to see how everything came out. Your bouquets were so pretty & great bonus for your sweet community. Have an exciting Winter planning for new gardens & baby. Full plate for sure.
Thank you for sharing the whole new cut garden experience with us! It’s actually an emotional journey. We root for you guys when we can see how much effort, joy and lessons that have been had. Russell is so handsome perched on the high tunnel, with the beautiful blue sky! We are lucky to have you guys! Be well everyone!
Loved watching the journey of this plot of land from your excitement of getting it to the “we aren’t going to do much apart from water and electricity “ to the full blown beautiful flowers and produce. I especially love the “ I don’t expect to get much because of the poor state of the soil” lol
This was really helpful. I am ramping up my cut flowers after watching you and Floret. Busy winter planning it all out. What a great life your cats lead ♥️
I would love to see a video that shows how you go about clearing your garden once the season is done. For instance, who will pull all of those old sunflowers and how? Just curious how you go about these chores.
I haven’t finished the video yet- but I LOVE your sweatshirt- such a POWERFUL reminder for our world...that our Father loves and is in control. I know that’s not what your channel isn’t about, but I applaud you for showing Him- for letting your light shine ♥️ We would be NOTHING without Him...now is the time to share Truth. I admire you for doing so in a public way ♥️♥️♥️
Wow... It's so beautiful. You have the magic. I'll be watching this again. So much to learn. You are AMAZING. Love seeing your joy. You reach for a flower & there's Russell under your hand. Love how he's always with you. 🐈And then there's the Russell show. 😀Great job you guys👍Much love all around.🙏Thank You.💞
Also wanted to say we gardeners learn more from our mistakes then our triumphs. It was so smart of you to plow ahead and do this test garden before it goes into its permanent space. It was be even more glorious next season and ever year after.
So much fun today watching you walk through and discuss what you grew and what you and Aaron learned this year.. It all about the journey, Laura. God's hand is on you..your labors brought forth abundance! Thank you for your daily videos.. Your cat Russell..is so handsome and is such a star! Love your family so much.. can't wait to see your baby girl! Blessings sister in Christ, Elizabeth, Panama City, Florida
End of the season....cannot believe it is the end of 2020 growing season! Next year’s season will be even more spectacular as the soil in the garden beds will be more worked in with decomposers etc....so much to look forward to in your garden next year! Thanks Laura for all your hard work this past year...I enjoyed it so much every step of the way! 🙏❤️🇨🇦
Beautiful! This garden gives me so much hope for my yard knowing how bad the soil was and how it was almost all started by seed enjoyed following along during the whole process 💚
I have thoroughly enjoyed this journey with you guys. Laura your spirit is heartwarming and I'm so happy that your new garden is bringing you so much fulfillment. I love seeing Russell and Cheddar make their appearance 😍 Take care and God bless you all ❤
Thank you for sharing this “experiment” with me. I garden vicariously through you as I don’t have the space, budget or energy to do as much you do. I can dream about someday growing a few things that you have shared and that excites me! ♥️ 🌱🌸🍂🌻🍁 ♥️
Hi Laura, I enjoy your videos and admire you and Aaron's hard work in your garden and the new property. Those flowers are to die for. I cant wait for Russell to appear in the videos (and Cheddar too) just to see what he is up too and the way you talk to him and the love you have for them.😻😹 I've learned so much from you even if I'm from South Africa. I just have to change your fall and winter time into our spring and summer time and the other way around. I've never been so interested in my garden since I started to watch you videos about a year ago. Thank you for that.😍👏👏😊
Russell! I need to see Russell or Cheddar in each video. lol Thank you, Laura. I love how you show us the hits and misses and all the lessons you learn that we get to learn along with you. I used to have a large garden. Now I have a very small one. But we all can take ideas from you and use them on any scale. Some of these beautiful plants can grow even in pots. Love and blessings to you, Aaron, Benjamin, and baby-girl-on-the-way.
You amaze me as to your knowledge of all the names as you are walking around. Not just daisy or sunflowers your know the exact name of all of them. You are great!
Ok I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, ALL your videos/projects are so interesting if not inspiring and motivational. You never know when one little thing you talk about our show or highlight might trigger something beneficial in someone. We love how real and natural you are, and your content. THere are a lot of content providers on RUclips, but your personality, family, and delivery push you to the top! I have watched you for years and seen you grow, I still go back and rewatch videos because i enjoy so much! Also, Russell was so cute during this whole video right up to the end!!! So glad you are feeling and doing good with your pregnancy and can’t wait to meet baby girl! Thank you! - your friend from NW Iowa.
With years of flower pot farming ,I’ll cheat and say just 50 lol never needed to purchase any vegetables to feed our family of 7 throughout the year never watch a video I don’t learn from, that includes watching some over and over.I want to thank you a lot. Flowers few I did not grow and preserved via. Air dry, glycerin I found the best : I purchased the glycerin at horse supply in gallon amount. Mixed a 5 to one with water boiling. All annual statice with a few inches in bottom of jar to allow the stems to wick up a few days. Then thinned bunches and hung upside down on long wires in barn.these normally brittle when dry without preserving.even years later are supple not brittle and color never faded. I did dry flower wreaths all with 50 plus different flowers. Wreath bases with sweet anne, perennial statice ,German statice and statice latifolia these plants clump out more each year. Double babysbreath in glycerin would keep soft. You have restarted my retirement years to do wreaths again. God bless you and your family for resparking a fun time.
At 22 minutes I think Russell was seeing his shadow. Definitely saving this video for a long time it tells me so what to plant for autumn interest. Thank you now go take a nap. ❤️🍁🍂
One of the most encouraging things about your videos is when you share the things you’ve learned! So often in other videos we only see the mistake free, appearance of perfectly grown produce or flowers. I learn a lot when you share the reality of what you’re learning so thank you! I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the beautiful fall color on the trees in the background. Especially the one very large tree in the yard. It was stunning! 🍁
I just found you this past April ( way late to the game!!!!!) and have learned so much on various things!!!! Thanks for being a great teacher and for all the things you've taken the time to show us!! 🌺🌽🌶❤️🌳🌾💐🐱
My Amaranth took off with long flowing flower heads just huge ! Was so impressed and had to keep cutting down to control them as I had them planted with my cottage plants out in the front garden . They seed so easy and boom off they go ! Thanks for your video Laura 🧤👒🐨🇦🇺👌🥰🌱👍💐🐝🦋🌼
Enjoy while you can before those beautiful flowers succumb to the cold weather! This is always sad time for me saying goodbye to the season flowers, but on the positive side looking forward to planning next seasons gardens! I agree about the sunflowers! Russell as well as Cheddar have provided added entertainment - love when they pop in for an appearance! The new area has been a great learning experience, I will be anxious to see what you do with the new area next year!! It has been fun watching the development of the new land! 😃🥰🐱🐈🐱🐈🌿🍂🍁🌻🌿
I just love how sharing you are. An idea to consider for next year, ask family, friends, and customers from your parent's shop to save wide-mouth glass jars, such as jam jars, to use as vases. Maybe restaurants would also save larger glass jars for you.
I love the progress of this space. Its been such an amazing lesson on growing produce and flowers that we cannot learn from any university or professor. Your step by step progress and encouragement in each video is the only way. Bravoooo for your patience and positive attitude. 👏 👏
Yes a great tour for my coffee with Laura. Also really like hearing all of your thoughts and ideas about things that worked and that didn't and the encouragement from you to just get out there and try things is awesome! Russell is such a nut and all cat for sure, I think his plan was to find a tree big enough to jump on to get down or to just enjoy watching the birds and playing!!!.
What a year of learning for you and Aaron. Next year, new section to start with all the wisdom of last. Such a wonderful year during a difficult Covid 19 stay at home order for all. You have kept us entertained, educated, and growing in more ways than can be counted. Thank you for everything.
All in all it has been an amazing time to watch your garden grow ❤️ it is beautiful now and it was beautiful when the vegetables, thank you for taking us on this journey🌸💮🌼
Have you put nasturtiums in your salads? Nice and peppery. I use them in flower arrangements, the leaves make good spillers. the blooms are good in vases with water no foam(delicate)
I think it's sweet of Russell to let you use his channel. 💝
The #1 comment.😳
😆😆🤷♀️😆😆 Pets are wonderful ♥️
🤣

Russel is like “I’m the only flower you need mother. I am the TRUE STAR of this garden!!” 😂
They both left the photobomb they just want attention.
Thank you
Russell is just adorable...he follows you everywhere! ...on top has the best view!
Such a kind hearted woman .
Squash grew down through fence; Laura: “poor thing”
Could u put tulle fabric over those items to keep the seeds in place then lift the fabric.after germination
Oh please please do an non narrated video of pulling and cleaning the cut flower and veggie garden! I find those videos so satisfying and will give me the inspiration to get after mine. ❤️ maybe for the highlights channel...

I love Russel's cameo appearances!
Russell is just the sweetest ♥️
I love Russel’s personality. I remember when you first got him. What a rambunctious but sweet kitten. Really special. He’s a real ham. Miss him when he’s not in an episode.

How cute is that! What a special way to bond with your grandson!
I'm in zone 9a, still walking in sandals outside. And look at Laura wearing a winter jacket. How funny it is to be in different growing zones.
I just love you can do attitude and trial and error ways! Makes me feel like, “why not? Let’s do it!”
Russell is living his best life! I have loved watching your cut flower garden grow and flourish. It’s inspired me to expand my own flower bed and try new varieties. Your video is the first thing I watch every morning-just love you guys🥰🌸

I think she got it from Mary at white cottage co.
Sorry to hear you’re having a hard year Mary. I agree, Laura’s positive attitude really helps when things look bleak.

Remember when you started with the farm troughs. I am so proud you had such success in that space. Sometimes gardening is all about the surprise.
Thank you Laura, For talking and explaining your experience with your veggie and cut flower garden. You are the real thing. Truly honest about all your experiences

Beautiful tour this morning. Plus the ever famous Russell. Adorable. 🌻🌷💗🌻🌷💗

Russell is so handsome perched on the high tunnel, with the beautiful blue sky! We are lucky to have you guys! Be well everyone!
Could we have a “day in the life of Russell” video? Or a Russell outtakes vid? He’s just so darn cute!
It has been so much fun to watch your garden grow this year.
Love seeing all the different varieties and colors.
And Russell is a hoot!
Loved watching the journey of this plot of land from your excitement of getting it to the “we aren’t going to do much apart from water and electricity “ to the full blown beautiful flowers and produce. I especially love the “ I don’t expect to get much because of the poor state of the soil” lol

FOR THE LOVE OF GROWING IT. I have never felt more understood in my whole life. ❤️🌱
Russell, living his best life. Love him.
I would love to see a video that shows how you go about clearing your garden once the season is done. For instance, who will pull all of those old sunflowers and how? Just curious how you go about these chores.
Good idea to keep a host plant for the Aphids...never thought of that method to "control" pests THANKS : )
Wow what a bounty! Everything is still beautiful even at this late date! Thanks for sharing your world with us💕🌺🌸🌼🌷🦋🌻🥰

The flowers are beautiful Russell is so curious
The look on Russell's face as he takes after that leaf is precious! What a character!
Beautiful... I had an idea. Hang the names of the flowers on the T-Posts for easy identifying.
Wow... It's so beautiful. You have the magic. I'll be watching this again. So much to learn. You are AMAZING. Love seeing your joy. You reach for a flower & there's Russell under your hand. The one you like with the rounded petals is named Sweet Nathalie, I grew it too!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this journey with you guys. Laura your spirit is heartwarming and I'm so happy that your new garden is bringing you so much fulfillment. I love seeing Russell and Cheddar make their appearance 😍 Take care and God bless you all ❤
"...His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me"... LOVE that song! 🙏🎶🎵🎼
=^..^=
I want a flower cut garden. Beautiful
I luv that Russell always makes an appearance, he follows his mom everywhere 😻
Thank you for sharing this “experiment” with me. I garden vicariously through you as I don’t have the space, budget or energy to do as much you do. I can dream about someday growing a few things that you have shared and that excites me! ♥️ 🌱🌸🍂🌻🍁 ♥️
That was one of the nicest Dust Bowl I’ve seen. Oh Russell. Surveying his kingdom from his mountain. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful flowers and Russell ... that just made my day ... ❤️😻👌😎👍🙌☝️🤘😉.
I love watching Russell. He seems so mischievous but sweet.
Omg Russell at the end is the best. I had 2 orange tiger cats and they are the absolute best. So smart and so much personality
At 22 minutes I think Russell was seeing his shadow.
Definitely saving this video for a long time it tells me so
what to plant for autumn interest.
Thank you now go take a nap. ❤️🍁🍂
I love your channel. Thank you so much you really bless me by sharing such beauty
This video gave me the courage to just experiment within my zone, if something doesn’t work just “pull it!” .... the beauty of gardening!!!
The Fall color around your property is so beautiful!!! Also, I love seeing Russell and Cheddar in your videos.
I just found you this past April ( way late to the game!!!!!) and have learned so much on various things!!!! Thanks for being a great teacher and for all the things you've taken the time to show us!! 🌺🌽🌶❤️🌳🌾💐🐱
Welcome to the club!! Thank goodness for the archived videos to watch and maybe rewatch😀
The beautiful trees!!! All of them! And of course the cats... both of them, in Every Video
I just love how sharing you are. An idea to consider for next year, ask family, friends, and customers from your parent's shop to save wide-mouth glass jars, such as jam jars, to use as vases. Maybe restaurants would also save larger glass jars for you.
Russel’s blending...the apricot cat in the apricot tree💕💗❤️ Very enjoyable tour❣️👍🥰
Morning! Love the flashback & tango flowers. The flower garden looks so beautiful. Yes you have captured it all! "Have fun Russell see you later".
