Wild iguanas have to deal with the weather and other predators, and compete for food. It's perfectly natural that a wild iguana could be emaciated...it's called the circle of life. Again, not saying he didn't set the whole thing up. Just saying all wild iguanas aren't stunning or healthy.

I have been a bow hunter for years. Never once have I seen a graphite arrow turn into wood. Also a hacksaw will not cut that arrow. Fyi a pipe cutter would cut a arrow, but yeah keep up the good work. I love seeing abusers exposed

Not to mention there was no reason to cut it in the first place since the head was already off
I’ve actually taken a real fixed broadhead arrow and the head did go directly through me (upper portion of my deltoid muscle, glad it wasn’t my head) but did not break off. I had pliers and side cutters and could not remove the arrowhead. No fucking way an IGUANA manages to snap off a carbon fibre arrow.
Jacob Feder and his accomplices deserve a fucking mechanical broadhead to the base of their skulls.
(For clarification, I went hunting with a “buddy” and he got a little too competitive because I was carrying a .308 at the time)
I grew up watching these guys run around Miami like idiots fishing for cichlids and peacock bass then their content got dull and started doing this stuff. That arrow was definately cut off on the other side and not broken. I've been an Archer for many years and I only use carbon fiber arrows. They don't break cleanly at all, it's also really hard to just break one. I had to bend one just about in half for it to break. When they do break, they come apart in strips, like fibers on a bamboo pole, and really jagged edges. They have to be carefully sawn (in the case you need to shorten it) so that it doesn't split. If you don't care about splits, then yeah, a dremel saw wheel will do it. There's no way an iguana broke off the other end running around in the trees or bushes.

These two are fucking monsters. I had the honor of taking care of a rescue iguana for many years. I live in NJ and he wasn’t purchased ethically in the first place but the assholes who had him didn’t take care of him and so he had a large bit of the end of his tail missing and tail paralysis in most of what was left, so he wasn’t releasable. My father and I were lucky to be his caretaker for the last 13 years of his life. I wish we had gotten him sooner, I really wish that he had never been anyones pet. As much I love him and loved having him, he should’ve been left to be a free and wild creature. He was amazing, gorgeous and so very loving. On warm days I would lay out with him in our backyard and he’d crawl up and sun bask laying on my chest and stomach. He had a huge personality and was very loving, when I’d go into his cage he would come right to me, he sought us out when he wanted attention. How someone could take such a magnificent creature and treat it like it’s life has no value is unfathomable. How in the fuck can you spear a python?! A captive one that you planted in a lake?! What kind of sick son of a whore sticks an arrow back into an iguana’s head?! (Not to mention whatever asshole put it there in the first place.) I don’t give a shit if a species is invasive, they are still living creatures and torturing them isn’t in anyway acceptable. Sorry this comment is such a ranting mess, I am just so full of rage and sadness. This is psychopathic behavior. Torturing and inhumanely killing animals. Most likely deriving some amount of joy from it since they continue to do so. And then broadcasting it to the world while casting themselves as the 'good guys' to pad their ego, maybe even attempting to 'fit in' and disguise their acts as not only normal, but moralistic. I remember first seeing one of his vids and I thought “oh sweet he is out helping animals” keep in mind that was after one vid… I went to his channel and noticed all… his videos are like that. when you make consistent content solely around animals in danger or in rough (very unique) situations… something is obvious up.

The look on the iguana’s face while he was holding the iguana out of the water for the camera broke me. They gave the poor lil guy brain damage. It is never okay to cause suffering to an animal for any reason. Invasive or not

Supposedly it was a carbon arrow, which wouldn't splinter.
I've had partners that are archers, though I don't know as much about the particular anatomy of an arrow as they do.
However, graphite/carbon, and the like, are meant to have high tensile strength and very light. It wouldn't just come unfurled into slivers. There's a reason carbon with various mixtures are used for a multitude of things, from car parts to safety gear to arrows.
Someone else mentioned it was a wooden arrow the kid pulled out in the last bit, which is what I thought too, but I wasn't sure. That wouldn't have been possible if it was a graphite arrow as far as I thought (like they shouldn't have some kind of wooden "center", as that would effectively defeat the purpose of having a carbon shaft in the first place).
Either way, dude's full of shit to the absolutely brim. The arrow doesn't make sense, and none of it really does....

Completely understandable. I own a green iguana (bought from mexico while on a trip) and it is horrible how these fuckwads are willing to hurt such a beautiful creature. It may be invasive but it’s still an animal, as a reptile enthusiast, this is sick. Vets have the decency when putting it down, to give it a painless quick death, but these sickos are putting it in pain only to be euthanized and that zack guy sucks. The people who hurt reptiles just cause they are reptiles deserve nothing but pain.

I just watched Justin Vaughan’s video on exposing Jacob Feder. It’s a good thing I unsubscribed from Jacob’s channel. Jacob also promotes cub petting, which PETA has been very vocal against and he’s gotten most of his animals from ZWF Miami according to a commenter on Justin’s video. And ZWF Miami has been slapped with Animal Welfare Act violations. So the fact that he has ties to a facility who has been targeted by an animal welfare group, Doc Antle and his family, tortured an iguana for views, illegally moved a python for one of his videos instead of euthanizing it like he was supposed to, staged a rabbit “rescue” video and even kept the rabbits outside in a chicken coop despite pleas from Lennon The Bunny that it is not recommended to keep them outside, and staged his tortoise video too that he just posted shows this is a pettuber that will abuse animals just to get views. Jacob has also been known to take videos down if he starts getting back lash. And when I watched Jacob’s tortoise “rescue” video, I paused it and did some detective work, taking a closer look at that tortoise and realized it was a red foot. Jacob breeds and sells Red Footed Tortoises. In the video, his sister Hannah claims they got a call from a family friend that they got this tortoise for their children. The kids started painting the shell. Then they didn’t want it anymore and brought over to Jacob’s parents’ house. That to me sounds kind of fishy. I suspect it is one of Jacob’s adult red foots and he and Hannah took it over the friend’s house, they painted the shell and then acted like they rescued it from a bunch of kids. The fact that he “found” a red footed tortoise when he owns Red Foots seemed fishy to me.

I agree. That very well could have been one of Hannah’s tortoises that they chose for the video. They probably took it over to that friend’s house and let the kids paint on its shell knowing full well it was not animal safe paint and then they peel off the paint.
I think your so on point about these videos my grandson watches these guys so one day I had a peak at there content needless to say I had a talk with him regarding there staging in videos he came to his own conclusions and has stopped watching

Everybody involved in this making of this original video with the iguana all need to have charges pressed against them and they need to serve jail time and have a judge put a court order that they should not be allowed to be around any animals ever again
Seriously. Animal cruelty laws aren't exempted for invasive species. They exist because people who do cruelty are a danger to humanity and it acts as an early warning system. I'd love it if it was fully altruistic on our part, but recognizing the importance of going after psychopaths so they have a hope of learning about consequences for there actions is important.

It baffles me how both him and Hannah are allowed to run like this. No police investigations, no RUclips takedown, not even 100k views on this video! The only video I saw was Hannah's video about her cat who was attacked, and when I saw the related videos were full of rescues I could immediately tell that was done on purpose. It's sick! That sounds harsh, but I don't remember my cats ever having a superiority complex, pouting around shouting all day bringing the overall mood down just because they had a bad day, targeting one of the 5 kids in the house and choosing favourites to spoil, victim blaming, falsely accusing the targeted child, or anything like that.
And bruh, ontop of that, those 2 cats are SAINTS!
Considering they are pulled around, pinned down by my evil monkey ass of a sister, grabbed suddenly in their sleep, kicked around while being screamed at for crossing paths with my parents when they have a bad day and many more things, I worship those angels for NEVER scratching, biting or hissing at any of us. The most they do when they are being pinned down and restrained for 10 minutes straight by that hellspawn that are my siblings, is a desperate meow for help or occassional growl.
I could not give a flying fuck if my mom comes and defends her favourite little child from me opening her greasy little fingers to free one of the cats. As someone who has all sorts of arrows in different meterials. That last bit wasnt an arrow. Not wood, not alu, not carbon fibre. That looked like a twig with the bark shaved/cut off. You can even see a small part of what looks like the original bark still on it. It fitted into the end of what looked like a clear cut carbon fibre shaft.
Believe me if it had snapped like they say it did it would be a total mess, super sharp, splinters of carbon fibre and supremely bloody cause that stuff is lethal

Yeah, I had stumbled across the sister's channel first - a video where someone for some crazy reason entrusted a baby monkey to her. She clearly did not understand that, at that age, the babies are literally hanging onto their mothers, and she pulled the poor thing away from the toys it was clinging to and decided to give it a bath on camera 😓. The poor thing was so terrified, it was painful to watch and then worse to read how many comments were praising her and how cute it was to see the baby's first bath 🤢
They are both horrible and clearly stage videos. I think Donny is right here, their audience has to be made up of kids who haven't figured out critical thinking skills yet.

I always found it rather suspect that he just happened to have the blind luck to be constantly stumbling onto all these "abused" and "neglected" animals.
I have an iguana, and was constantly holding my breath throughout the entirety of the video. It's disgusting that he is toying with a dying iguana, as obviously the arrow isn't the only thing on its plate.
It should have been fighting back but its plethora of health issues meant it was to weak to and just had to withstand mishandling. Obviously it likely hasn't survived. It wouldn't surprise me if he kept it over the course of a few days just for shits & giggles while it suffered, or eventually he put it out of its misery, though I doubt he'd have the capacity to correctly.
And the situation with the snakes are infuriating aswell. The way they were used again until demise makes me suspicious if they were even feral ones to begin with, honestly.
Yeah, at the very least this iguana they had was way too docile to not have something going on. My guy is pretty docile and even then he would still struggle more than that poor thing if I held and carried him around, and my dude is chill enough to let people pet him and give him head scratches (he even seems to like it lol). There's just no way that Iguana was anything close to healthy, at the very least it seemed really dehydrated and delirious.

Call me crazy but when I'm trying to help an animal in distress taking a video is pretty much the last damn thing on my mind. The small tan part left in the iguana isn’t even part of that arrow. I am quite familiar with those arrows and I honestly don’t know what it it is but it’s certainly not a piece from that arrow’s shaft. It looks like a piece of stick or something of the like. Graphite arrows are thin walled and hollow. At the very tip there’s a metal sleeve the arrow head threads into.

So many videos of people inhumanely killing "invasive" animals instead of trying to catch and relocate them to good homes. The only reason these animals are "invasive" is because of HUMANS tossing pets out like they're garbage!

I think humanely killing invasive animals is acceptable. I would include somewhat include feral cats (though I think TNR for feral cats and rehoming strays is enough and cats are domesticated so it’s a bit different). However this is obvious animal cruelty
Don't forget about the time Zack Ketchem boiled an iguana alive in his sink and said it didn't hurt the animal! These guys are absolute monsters and they don't deserve even basic human respect.

I'm very happy that you exposed Jacob Feder. I used to watch his videos frequently until I found out that he had been lying to me all along and that he's sick in the head, as well as the fact that he actually abuses animals for profit and uses them as props; he doesn't actually love them at all.
For every one of these, you should do a video on people you think are doing it the right way. Thanks for doing what you can to clean up the mess of herp-youtube.

My uni has eels, turtles, and water dragons in the lake campus and I know some colleges would host spear fishing events. It was a serious problem but I don't think students got expelled.
...but one time an rural Chinese (I think) international student caught a duck, killed it, butchered the meat, and cooked it. He got instantly expelled.
As part of that expulsion the uni said any more dead eels also counts as an expulsion.
Hunting for meat is completely valid, though. It's so sad he got expelled over that. I doubt many of the other students ate what they killed. At least now the eels are protected too.

They're wild, but depend on human infrastructure for nesting and foraging. People also like feeding them bread, unfortunately.
He just didn't want to pay $20 for a duck at the local supermarket. So I wouldn't call this valid hunting: it's just animal creulty.
I'm just surprised that fish and reptile abuse isn't considered as severe as bird and mammal abuse. Took this incident to stop the eel killing. From this video this seems rather universally human.
@@snekysneks cept with the exception of hunting seasons, ducks are protected by law in Canada and the US under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, you also need a permit to hunt wild birds. In the UK they are protected by the Wildlife and Countryside Act. Yes hunting for meat is valid but in Canada, the US, and the UK there is laws in place to prevent birds from being over hunted and poached

Donnie, I refuse to go to those other channels, BECAUSE I DON'T WANT THEM TO GET THE VIEWS. Unfortunately, it sounds like if they get low views, they hurt animals to raise the numbers, but also, if they get views, they just hurt the animals because people are now watching.
I unsubscribed from both Jacob and Hannah’s videos, and until now, I was unaware that Jacob encouraged his sister to do this too and Jacob has been known to remove videos if he gets pushback from viewers and then abuse animals to raise the number of views because now he’s got viewers. I don’t want to encourage views if they’re abusing animals and using them as props for clicks.
