i was in her concert two days ago, it was a BLAST ♥
girl she's up there with whitney celine and mariah.... I know she's still starting but I mean she never had vocal lessons and look at her shred with near flawless technique doing arabic trills and melismas that are extremely hard. She's only 22!!!

She's also a classically trained pianist, songwriter, violinist, and in her spare time she's getting her computer engineering degree. She is now on her first world wide tour. She just finished the European part of the tour and is starting her North American Tour. Total of 30 plus venues. Her album just released is called Citizens. She is a Spotify monster, TicTok star and a RUclips sensation. She was 19 during most of these performances and she's 21 now. When you choose a song always go with the stripped version or piano version, usually the same. Welcome aboard. A lot of songs to choose from.
Yes, yodels are one of her trademarks. I absolutely love yodels and that’s why she’s one of my favorite singers. She’s also so great with the Arabic trills and melisma‘s.
I wrote that she does trills and yodels. Those are not the same thing, so they can coexist. I know you were mis-naming yodels in another video. Trills are a type of milissma. Yodels are voice breaks.
She's currently my favourite female singer ❤️ since I've discovered her I can't get enough of her voice and talent. Some amazing songs written/co-written by her are Tears of gold (stripped version), You don't even know me (stripped), Born without a heart (stripped), Elon (live), Don't tell me I'm pretty (she also produced it herself), Minefields with John Legend. And her covers that blew me away: Desert rose (live in Abu Dhabi), Blue (Da ba Dee), Middle child, Slow dancing in a burning room. I also love her new "Citizens" project, my favourite from these new songs is "I know" and "RIP, love".

Good question. I would need to study her to get a more in-depth analysis but I would say from this video you're on the money! I'd probably place her around the same category as Tori Kelly, Jessie J, etc.

2:50 that’s not mix. It’s simply a thinned out M1 with a rounder vowel. No such thing as ‘chest mix’ either. These terms contradict how the science works.
I made a correction and said heady mix soon after. Also, "Chest Dominant Mix" does exist along with Head Dominant Mix and Balanced Mix. It's just ratios.

Stanley is correct. Mixed voice is obviously chest voice and head voice combined in various percentages to the singers choice. Listen to So Hyang, best mixed voice in singing.
