I love your little snippets of easy quilts. I love easy quilts using precuts. They are great when you want to make a quick quilt to give as a gift or just to have around the house. Bonus: They are also beautiful. Thanks, Kimberly, for all you do for us.
This quilt really is beginner friendly. A perfect project to build essential skills and confidence and avoid mistakes given the ease of construction and no fuss seam matching
This quilt is beautiful. It shows beginners that piecing easy blocks, placing them in a specific pattern, produces a quilt that looks complicated but isn’t. This series is so much fun. : )
Hi from South Africa 🇿🇦😁 just found your free patterns...thank you. How awesome. It's so detailed. At first I was like how on earth 🤯 but now see that it is easy. God bless you for sharing😘
Looks so complicated. But you've shown us how to do this "intricate" pattern, simply. I appreciate you and your team providing free patterns and the free RUclips videos, too. Your great! Thank you so much. Blessings to all y'all.
What a sweet pattern! And don't you love those little alphabitties! Ever since I saw you use them on another tutorial, I just had to get some. They are SO useful! Thank you for sharing your time with us!
Thank you so much for the free pattern and the tutorial and it’s not complicated at all. A beginner will feel so much more eager to take on other free patterns after watching other tutorials. Let’s get busy😊😍👍🏽
Thank you for the free pattern! I love all the fabric I see however I love fabrics that are more country and primitive. Would love to see you carry more of a selection with those types of fabrics.
Whew! Finally found the free pattern. Thanks so much for the pattern. I have lots of layer cakes that I want to use in this pattern. The pattern is beautiful, and I hope my quilt comes out as good.
Beautiful! I love all of your free patterns - I have made many of them, and I have a binder full of ‘“quilt possibilities” waiting to be sewn. Thank you!
What a lovely quilt! I think I heard Mrs. Kimberly say on one of her videos that all fat quarter patterns allow for starching, but i am not certain. Will there be enough fabric to starch the layer cake?
Thanks heaps for sharing this quick and easy quilt. Love the free pattern for it too. Where did you get those little alphabet blocks? I couldn't find a link to them in your list. They look like cute Scrabble blocks
Hi Kimberly I am new to quilting and would Like to make this quilt 1 row longer so it would measure 56 1/2 x 71 would I just need 4 additional solid and 4 additional print blocks to complete.
There is a tutorial … search Lori Holt Design Boards on the FQS YT channel and it should come up .. super easy! Lori uses fabric but some are using washi tape.

A variation of just the two blocks with the stepped block would be beautiful too. Such a nice block.
This is so cute and friendly fun and fast. What are those adorable little magnets that let you label the pieces? I love that idea!
Hello Sarah! Those are our Alphabitties - bit.ly/3ec8Rem They are plastic squares, not magnets.
Awesome pattern

What a lovely quilt! I think I heard Mrs. Kimberly say on one of her videos that all fat quarter patterns allow for starching, but i am not certain. Will there be enough fabric to starch the layer cake?
Hello Cristina! It should be enough. It should shrink in one direction so the shorter side can be used for cutting the 8"
@@FatQuarterShopTX Perfect! Thank you very much.
Thanks heaps for sharing this quick and easy quilt. Love the free pattern for it too.
Where did you get those little alphabet blocks? I couldn't find a link to them in your list. They look like cute Scrabble blocks
Hi Maree! Those are called Alphabitties! We have them in blue, pink, and gray: www.fatquartershop.com/blue-alphabitties-specialty-marking-tools
Please tell me what that beautfil fabric is!!
Hi Kimberly I am new to quilting and would Like to make this quilt 1 row longer so it would measure 56 1/2 x 71 would I just need 4 additional solid and 4 additional print blocks to complete.
Hello Jospeh! Yes, that is correction. You will need to add four print blocks and four solid blocks to add an additional row.
Thanks
❤️💕💚
Kimberly, do you have the pattern for the top block on the wall behind you??? The X????
Hello Jennifer! The block is available here: www.redrainbootshandmade.com/product/vintage-b-c-wood-barn-quilt
What a great pattern! Did you make the little board that you used to put the pieces on? If so can u do a tutorial on it? Thanks
There is a tutorial already. 😊 ruclips.net/video/1nSZtoionpA/видео.html
There is a tutorial … search Lori Holt Design Boards on the FQS YT channel and it should come up .. super easy! Lori uses fabric but some are using washi tape.
Thank you for the inspiration. I think the animal will be a llama. 1, 2, 5, 6
I like the design of the blocks. Light and light fabrics, I need contrast. Very blah!
Can you make this pattern with 5 inch charms packs?
Hello Donna! No, this pattern needs cuts that are bigger than 5" to make the blocks.
I am not able to download the pattern. Is it still available?
Hello TM! The pattern is still available. Please make sure you do not have a pop-up blocker enabled. www.fatquartershop.com/layer-cake-links-quilt

Hello Patty! The layout is shown in the pattern here: www.fatquartershop.com/layer-cake-links-quilt
..... So it's a disappearing square block. 👀👀👀 🤔
Starch the layer cake? Or no?
Hello Sharon! Yes, you can starch the layer cake.
Did you break your little finger? You have beautiful long fingers. Hope you learned to play the piano
Hello Sharleen! Kimberly did not break her finger.
Maybe its just me but, the vedeo is not good quality
