I actually clapped at home after this set. Fantastic, high level play for sure! Majeed started out with a low first service percentage, but improved over time. Giuliano has a wicked service return and is a more offensive player, while Majeed plays more defensively. Again, a great match!!!
Majeed couldn't exploit his strong serves mainly due to Giuliano's wicked return. He was behind for the whole set but he held held his nerve. Kudos to both players and thanks Winston for the great content!

I've watched ATP matches that were less entertaining than that was, good stuff! Feel like Giuliano actually played the cleaner set overall outside of Majeed's serving advantage, but Majeed was perfectly clutch in all the points he needed to be. That tweener set point save... wow!

Majeed showed everything about what to do when behind. Many of us face the situation but the results always turn out differently from this. He led only once when it counts. Must be tough for Juliano who is insane in every aspect especially his Agassi returns. Today Majeed was a better player.

To be as good as Giuliano is he sure hit his serve after it drops way low. If he hit it 6" to 1' higher his power and consistency would improve, imo. He's got a terrific backhand slice approach shot, too. Anyway, it was fun to watch two nice guys go at it.

Hey Winston!! I do like that for this video you have both the number of games each player wins AND what the score is each game. So i don't have to either try and keep track and or figure out who won that game by looking at the number of games everytime I see it's a different person serving. But that's just me. Thanks for creating and sharing all of your content. I just found your channel and I really am enjoying watching these games.
Both of these players are very good. Majeed has a big serve. I've been to dozens of ATP tournaments and the biggest difference between them and a ATP pro (7.0) that I see is that the ATP pros can hit the ball extremely hard with consistency. Ten or more ball rallies are common. Unless you've watch a professional match it's hard to realize how hard they hit the ball shot after shot. Having said that I wish I could play as well as either of these two guys.
Majeed is clutch, he plays really free under pressure- not loose, but free. Guliano works the ball around nicely and massages it very well, excellent racquet head control. It's amazing the difference in skills one sees when looking from region to region at players who share the same USTA ranking. California really has a wealth of superb recreational tennis players.
I am a 5.0 player and one thing I noticed about other 5.0 players is that their transition game holds them back. Easy points aren’t automatic, and an approach shot has a 50/50 chance of winning the point. If they can keep the point at the baseline, the winning percentage is much higher. Who wants to leave 30/30 at 4-4 to the chance of picking up a shoestring volley?

Highest quality set I’ve seen on the channel so far . Both are super clutch with lots of variety. Very good returning so deep . Majeed changed tactic to more volley which gave him the slight edge in the end
guiliano is the more talented player I really like his return , backhand , and touch , his serve is good as well problem for him is concentration he choked big time , majeed tho is great defender and more composed mentally props for saving all these set points like a wall
