Exactly this, I was tearing up at this moment because I was finally playing the game I waited to come for years, preparing for the great adventure I was ready to go through. Simply magical.
@@fruitbowlsalad4180 the Thor fight is a tutorial Boss not an intro tbh. If u r talking about the chasing at the beginning I honestly didn't feel really good...
After seeing the finale, I find it interesting they didn't give us the Archaic Tunic before this scene, so Link's shirtless. And no matter what you wear, Link will also be shirtless in the ending
it would've been a legendary detail if Nintendo actually had the guts to stick to the story they were setting up rather than reverting everything to the status quo at the last minute
The music during this opening is so incredibly well done. It starts familiar and fun, but then reminds you that there is so much to do and see. Incredibly well done. Thank you for posting just this section.😊
I love Links little head swivel he does, just casually looking around at his environment while falling at terminal velocity; not a care in the world. That's our hero of the wild!
There is so much i love about this intro. First, the music was in the 2022 trailer when they finally revealed the name of the game, so seeing it here was nice. Next, the breath of the wild theme piano at the start just to remind you that this is indeed the long awaited sequel to that game. And finally the light dragon in the background, iykyk.
The BOTW theme kicking in at the start was what got me! The nostalgia I felt was insane! I teared up when I first played TOTK when it came out… I love both BOTW and TOTK! They’re both amazing!
The castle in the sky inspired music at 0:10 blew my mind! Side note: My 8YO son waited outside of GameStop with me for 6hours to get my hands on a collectors edition.
This moment was the moment when I realised: "I'm finally playing it. It's here! It's finally here! This is the beginning of a new adventure and it's going to be a great one" 💙 instant goosebumps and (happy) tears in my eyes!
It's so beautiful to see the Legend of Zelda team finally see their dream come to life the way they meant for it to be since the inception of the first one back in the 80s. This game is a labor of love, and it shows.
I appreciate how both this game and its forerunner achieve the same result with their opening world reveal, being a world reveal. It wordlessly tells the player ‘Well, this is it. Everything you see during this sequence, you will explore. See those mountains down there? Go explore them. See those spiraling stones in the sky? All yours. Get out there!’
Didn't really realize how epic this intro was on the first playthough since I was still a bit bummed that Zelda was missing again (never looked up any trailers or anything before playing the game). Pretty much once I finished the sky island intro is when I fell in love with the game, definitely the best game I've played on this decade. I'm really excited what they're going to make next with some more capable hardware even though the limitations/art style are a pretty integral part of the game
I was nervous before release that all the sky jumping would be like Skyward Sword: kinda cool, but ultimately lacking. I was proven wrong in the FIRST MINUTE.
I love the way the Switch era Nintendo games had you play a little mission before giving you the epic title drop. Mario and Kirby also did it with their main games, and I like how it was bookended with the two Zelda games. Also helps that the games were all top quality and infinitely fun. Dunno if there will ever be an era of gaming as good as this one.
It's pretty wild coming back to this now that I'm finally putting the game down after 3 months and 250 hours of playtime. I did everything that I plan on doing in the game (no thanks, 1000 Koroks) and probably won't play it again until DLC comes out.
This really is the "It's finally here" theme, knowing how long we waited for this masterpiece to arrive and become complete.
Yeah, they perfected it.
It’s finally here, AND ITS WORTH IT!!!
Exactly this, I was tearing up at this moment because I was finally playing the game I waited to come for years, preparing for the great adventure I was ready to go through. Simply magical.
Yeah. Its a Master Piece. It Was worth it to wait so long. I've got goosebombs every time i hear the Intro theme
It was only five years
To all of you, don't rush the fall, the music ends just when you hit the water
It actually doesn't. I've seen so many different people playing this differently and it always ends the same.
@@noneofyourbusiness1998they’re talking about how the music fades out the moment you land in the water, it was purposefully timed that way.
@@noneofyourbusiness1998you’re wrong but I guess in today’s world that only qualifies you more to keep talking about what you don’t know about
Never once have, never will. It’s just so perfect.
You can reestart the game for it
Never before has skydiving without a parachute looked so badass.
The amount of dopamine that flowed into my brain when I first played totk was AGH
amazing
They knew what they were doing lol . That was a big flex from the dev team , they knew they had a real banger on their hands
Most epic video game intro ever
Except for god of war 2018 and ragnarok

@@superbowyiming the Thor fight in ragnarok and the Baldr fight are definitely introductions, it introduces you to the over the top action and story.

I think botw intro is better
the dragon during the title card 🥲♥️
I wonder what its deal is
At first I thought it was just one of those three dragons😭
Yeah the realization is mutual 😭
Wonder how long that dragon has been waiting
@@OceanTree I remember seeing the dragon for the first time and thinking: "Hey, this dragon kinda looks like Zelda"
bro i actually teared up here when i first started the game. man, i love this series so much. thank you for uploading this
My pleasure!
You could say you were the tears of the kingdom
@@sebastianmaregatti Ha!
I love how the music starts off being like Breath of the Wild intro but then it starts to change into Tears of the Kingdom.
Not gonna lie. Once that music ramped up and the title appeared when I was playing this scene. I got chills and goosebumps.
Same here..frfr
Same bro same
No spoilers but there is a detail in this intro that is pretty legendary knowing how the game plays out lol
This game is just too good
I just saw it yoooo
The dragon in the distance…

After 5 years. Welcome back old friend. I missed you. 😢
The light dragon in the background 🥺
this intro is insane
Spoilers
The brilliant bastards actually had the nerve to put her in frame for the title drop 💀
Damnnn oof T-T
Yep...
A great narrative that starts with Zelda and Link and ends with Link and Zelda.
Omg LOL 💀
Lmao
I was had the biggest smile when this happened omg, amazeballs!!
I've seen so many people accelerate their dive, instead of aiming toward a pad and hit a super hero landing.

My favorite part is how they fake you out and make you think it's going to be BotW's theme again

The castle in the sky inspired music at 0:10 blew my mind!

The moment the title appeared was just tooooo goood
Never before has a title screen made me so hyped
So cool how Zelda is in the opening title and when we first play none of us realizes this.
Wait! That dragon in the background! 😲❤❤❤ They really took care of the smallest details here.
I never thought i would hear the part we heard in Trailer 1 ( 0:31 ) in the actual game but i'm SO HAPPY ITS HERE
the spoiler dragon being in the title scene is so *chef’s kiss
Happy 1st Anniversary The Legend of Zelda : Tears of the Kingdom.
Legit got emotional during this title sequence… huge grin on my face.. it’s moments like these that is the reason we play games
I have no idea how they were able to top breathe of the wild this game is amazing
Probably the best feeling i've ever experienced in a videogame
When I first heard this I was crying with joy. Truely the most legendary intro ever.
I will never forget the first time I saw this
This alone is worth the 70€ price tag, I got literal chills when this moment came for me
I remember when I got here, I just stood there. Taking it all in. For several minutes.
The soundtrack is so amazing. New life, new adventure, new challenges. All of it in 1 min of soundtrack
I started crying, the mix of excitement and just awe of such a beautiful game struck me to my core.
0:17 would you love me if I was a worm?
Fun Fact if you don’t Accelerate the moment Link falls into the water maches with the music.

Nintendo doesn't need to have a powerful console to make a masterpiece
This scene gave me goosebumps
This intro literally made me cry of happiness
This was like being let out to the playground as an adult

Wish i didnt spoil this before i played a few weeks ago, banger scene. It still hit but i def wouldve got emotional if i wasnt spoiled
Not ashamed at all to admit this, but I cried the first time I experienced this.
I nearly cried. I still do.
It's the "we took a 10/10 game and made it even better somehow" energy for me
did anyone notice that we see zelda at the very first moment and even the music is the same as when she draconified herself 😢
I'll never be able to experience this for the first time ever again.
ちなみに最後で加速しなければ音楽に合ったタイミングで着水できて美しい
Literal chills watching this scene. One of the most visually beautiful games Nintendo has made.
WHY DID YOU STOP THE VIDEO BEFORE THE FINAL NOTE HELLO??
What kills me is the climbing piano line is also the climax of the piece.
I rarely get the chills but this one did it for me!
Chills

The most epic start of a video game ever 😮😮😮
I don't know why, but at the beginning of the music it reminds me about Kingdom Hearts OST. ALWAYS!
I love how they included Zelda herself when the title card pops up. 😉
It looks a lot like the Spirit away soundtrack, the dragon boy xd
