@@loncherita.diaries NO tenias que irte tan lejos. Hay un lugar en san juan que tiene lechón de guavate. Cerca de la estación del tren san francisco en rio piedras.
I only went to El Rancho Original. Was there on a Saturday. Very busy and noisy. I got the same plate you bought with addition of morcilla. The lechón was ok, not great. Dried out and not hot. The morcilla was almost rancid. Still a great experience. They had live music and people were dancing up a storm. I like your idea of going midweek. Will do that next time for a more peaceful experience. The best morcilla I’ve had so far in PR was at the kiosks in Luquillo served by a beautiful 2XL Dominican woman. Food is an experience not to be missed in PR. I can’t wait to go back!
Yummy yummy yummy ke rrico se mira
that pork skin (along with everything else) looks so good,
Hardest part about all this was craving the lechon every time I went in to edit the video 😂 so good

Gracias por la recomendación! Regreso pronto a PR y cuando esté en San Juan la probaré 🔥

Lechónera Los Pinos is way better. Was there on 1/27/2024
As a Puerto Rican I have to say that the best pork that exists is *Cochinillo* from Spain.
Haven’t had the opportunity to try that yet! Definitely on the list now though 👀🍖
A baby🐖?😲🥺😭
That doesn’t surprise me. Spain is the root of Hispanic culture.
If you cook a piglet the Puerto Rican way it will be way better that an spaniard cochinillo. Trust me!
Thanks for the comparison... But good manners on the table would have made it a pleasure to see...
You better believe it's the best
