I like how they keep the individual character's speech and dialogue consistent. Killjoy says "Gotcha" when she successfully hacks into the system, similar to when she catches MaxBot off guard in the Warmup cinematic.

Also, as she’s lining up the shot you hear her say “Un alma por un alma” which in Spanish means “a soul for a soul” which fits in nicely with the storyline that Viper was responsible for the death/disappearance/harm that befell Reyna’s sister. It was her moment of taking revenge, even if it wasn’t HER viper, it was still a viper that she was about to kill. For all she knows, this Viper did the same in this world to her sister, so it’s still revenge in a way.
I like how Killjoy isn't just limited to her kit in the game. Really shows how she can be used better than just fighting in the lore. Also love seeing me Viper abilities.
also since she aims with both eyes open. closing one eye reduces information and also takes too much "processing power" compared to just focusing using one eye

Now it's a moral dilemma for them. Neon's end phrase hits hard. This is a very good character and story development for all of them. Shows that things aren't just black and white and there are a lot of gray areas.

@@animenirvana8418 Arcane took nearly 5 years in pre-production alone, a lot of that time was the writers learning how to write a tv show. If they work with them again it'll take at least 4 years to produce another masterpiece.
I like how neon is literally just an electrical circuit, her dampener thing on her back is a resistor to slow down the flow of electricity, and if she loses that the electricity moves to fast causing her to basically short circuit.
after rewatching this, I realized the amount of little details, like when a footsolider checks his corners and the shadow of the little bots when they zap an unconscious body, remarkable
If only Riot could make a show for Valorant like they did with Arcane, this lore is getting more and more interesting and it have so much potential for a full show
They did talk about it before, but they were waiting for the game to be more diverse with agents and make the game more polished. unlike league, which has been around for over a decade before they got their own series

Like S2 of Arcane prob also won't take 6 years, because they have experience, we got more used to potential COVID limitations & they can reuse assets. Even with a Valorant show the same applies, although the amount of assets they could reuse is obviously way less. Although tbh, the could reuse the character models from these cinematics and even some locations. But yeah think with Valorant it's more about that the game needs to be settled and not that making the show would take a lot of time.

This is the best cinematic ever!! Based on the image of the dome that KJ saw when she was hacking their systems, plus the "desalination" line, I think the "life support" system is being used to maintain the domes around submerged cities, and that's why Valorant is well known and supported instead of being a secret organization. Cities began to be submerged due to rising tides, and Kingdom capitalized on it by developing the domes, sent out Valorant agents to get the radianite needed, and then capitalized on the situation further by declassifying the organization and turning the agents into heroes/celebrities and Valorant into a brand.

Reyna haunting down Viper and refusing to retreat was so good, really showed how much Reyna wanted to get her revenge on her. This matches up with the theory surrounding Reyna, Viper, and a little kid presumably Reyna's younger sister 🔥

Reyna n viper isnt actually enemy. Viper is the one who keep reyna's sister alive using souls n viper is trying pretty hard rn as she fear reyna will go berserk if she failed to keep Lucia(Reyna's sister) alive.
Reyna seems so friendly and soft in this cinematic. Her voicelines in game make me think that she's always evil and revengeful but this episode changed my mind. The way she cares for Neon touched me real hard. Great cinematic!
Reyna just knows how much of the radiants are being pursued upon. She acts harshly to any type of oppression to their own powers, including even their friends. I think she teaches control over their radiant powers naturally rather than relying on technology doing it for them.
Sorry but another reason Reyna cares for Neon is because she has plans for her. Neon's power is too strong if she had full control over it. Currently, Neon has a tech on her back that stops her from unleashing all her strength, Reyna like to change that.
animation is so clean and there's so many slight lore things that ppl might miss, the beef between reyna and viper goes deep, neon being extremely powerful that her pack helps her control her power ect.
I love the attention to detail, at 5:27 you can see a statue of Omen, there is a voice line Omen says on a specific map stating "Is that.. a statue of.. me? That's.. unexpected." Refering to the statue you see.
the small details on this cinematics are amazing, when KJ has her Radianite detector, you can also see the glow on Neon's back because of her power limiter. At the Comic Store we can also see the Blaster X Phantom as a purchasable toy, many banners that exists in the game, there's a counter that i think it's gun buddies and many more. The ear piece for communication makes so muting teammates is cannon like Reyna did. KJ using the butt stock of her gun instead of shooting or punching them comes directly from her personality and position as someone who's more brain than brawns. There's probably many other details, while they aren't the main and biggest thing, they really do play a big part on showing the valorant's team their passion and love for the game
1:07 gave me PTSD. As a Phoenix main, rushing with a plan, getting a kill or two, and then seeing this popping up, with no cover in sight is the definition of pure terror.

I LOVED Reyna here. Her voice actor put more emotion than how Reyna is trying to portray herself. Notice how caring she sounds when Neon being shot? Also I realized her aim and reflexes are superior compared to her younger teammates. Wow, Reyna, you must have practised a lot. Last note- She was already so beautiful but they animated her with darker black- just chef's kiss.
The worries in neon face when Reyna is not with her and the way she stopped Reyna from killing viper is a masterpiece. From the previous easter egg, Reyna told brim that she will have a conversation with neon since she is young and new. Maybe neon knows that Reyna really hates human who uses radianite weapon. Omg 101/10 for the concepts.

I think in this cinematic her suit is not entirely broken tho, because she once told Brim that even with the suit on she can supply energy for a whole big city block, if the suit is actually broken it would be catastrophic.
Does this cinematic imply that, when playing on Pearl the attackers are actually from Alpha Earth, as opposed to every other map, where they are from Omega Earth? That would be soooo cool!! Also, if the stolen radianite is being used to maintain the domes over submerged cities, by stealing back their radianite, are the Alpha Valorant Agents dooming a bunch of innocent people to drown? I kinda hope so, I love conflicts where there aren't clean solutions or clear "victims" and "villains". I enjoy the depth being added to this story.
I think this a duality paradox.... In one planet, they are banished and there are multiple cases against them using radianite for the wrong doing... while on the one planet, they are hailed as heroes who sustain their lives, doesn't matter if they do it by stealing.... but who really is the bad guy? that's the next conflict this story is going towards... I have a lot of speculations but I don't feel like sharing here. peace out!
That's actually a pretty good possibility. If true, that's gonna be the biggest plot twist in the story so far. Presenting a moral dilemma for the Alpha Earth agents is gonna be interesting. It also makes the Omega Earth agents not just one-dimensional villains where they only seek death and destruction, but to actually save their own world. Aaaa we need more lore!

I like how neon is literally just an electrical circuit, her dampener thing on her back is a resistor to slow down the flow of electricity, and if she loses that the electricity moves to fast causing her to basically short circuit.

Like S2 of Arcane prob also won't take 6 years, because they have experience, we got more used to potential COVID limitations & they can reuse assets. Even with a Valorant show the same applies, although the amount of assets they could reuse is obviously way less. Although tbh, the could reuse the character models from these cinematics and even some locations.
But yeah think with Valorant it's more about that the game needs to be settled and not that making the show would take a lot of time.

This is the best cinematic ever!! Based on the image of the dome that KJ saw when she was hacking their systems, plus the "desalination" line, I think the "life support" system is being used to maintain the domes around submerged cities, and that's why Valorant is well known and supported instead of being a secret organization. Cities began to be submerged due to rising tides, and Kingdom capitalized on it by developing the domes, sent out Valorant agents to get the radianite needed, and then capitalized on the situation further by declassifying the organization and turning the agents into heroes/celebrities and Valorant into a brand.
So I think everything you said is right except the domes ARE the life support systems.

Reyna seems so friendly and soft in this cinematic. Her voicelines in game make me think that she's always evil and revengeful but this episode changed my mind. The way she cares for Neon touched me real hard. Great cinematic!
Reyna just knows how much of the radiants are being pursued upon. She acts harshly to any type of oppression to their own powers, including even their friends. I think she teaches control over their radiant powers naturally rather than relying on technology doing it for them.

I love the attention to detail, at 5:27 you can see a statue of Omen, there is a voice line Omen says on a specific map stating "Is that.. a statue of.. me? That's.. unexpected." Refering to the statue you see.
the small details on this cinematics are amazing, when KJ has her Radianite detector, you can also see the glow on Neon's back because of her power limiter. At the Comic Store we can also see the Blaster X Phantom as a purchasable toy, many banners that exists in the game, there's a counter that i think it's gun buddies and many more. The ear piece for communication makes so muting teammates is cannon like Reyna did. KJ using the butt stock of her gun instead of shooting or punching them comes directly from her personality and position as someone who's more brain than brawns. There's probably many other details, while they aren't the main and biggest thing, they really do play a big part on showing the valorant's team their passion and love for the game
as well as the reflection in reynas eye as she sees the detonator fly towards them in the beginning as she pushed kj outta the way

I think in this cinematic her suit is not entirely broken tho, because she once told Brim that even with the suit on she can supply energy for a whole big city block, if the suit is actually broken it would be catastrophic.
Does this cinematic imply that, when playing on Pearl the attackers are actually from Alpha Earth, as opposed to every other map, where they are from Omega Earth? That would be soooo cool!! Also, if the stolen radianite is being used to maintain the domes over submerged cities, by stealing back their radianite, are the Alpha Valorant Agents dooming a bunch of innocent people to drown? I kinda hope so, I love conflicts where there aren't clean solutions or clear "victims" and "villains". I enjoy the depth being added to this story.

I think this a duality paradox.... In one planet, they are banished and there are multiple cases against them using radianite for the wrong doing... while on the one planet, they are hailed as heroes who sustain their lives, doesn't matter if they do it by stealing.... but who really is the bad guy? that's the next conflict this story is going towards... I have a lot of speculations but I don't feel like sharing here. peace out!
That's actually a pretty good possibility. If true, that's gonna be the biggest plot twist in the story so far. Presenting a moral dilemma for the Alpha Earth agents is gonna be interesting. It also makes the Omega Earth agents not just one-dimensional villains where they only seek death and destruction, but to actually save their own world. Aaaa we need more lore!

I just realized after watching a lore video by someone, but there's a card that showcases Reyna's little sister being taken away by Viper into a laboratory and has implications of her dying, the Reyna vs. Viper card. @@rjbuena5914 she isn't short circuiting though, POWER SURGE basically, the device at her back is a surge protector. Keeps the flow of current controlled. Just saying cause short circuit doesn't sound nice in the context of lore, where Neon's arc seems to be about being OP and controlling herself, all the while Rehna wants her to let loose (surge)
