- The plaintiff says the defendant is her loudmouth former landlord who’s stealing her security deposit. She needs her money to pay rent, so she’s suing. The defendant says he met the plaintiff at a bar and helped her out by renting her a cottage. He claims she trashed it by smoking and left early. He’s countersuing for additional repairs.

When Doug gave her a cup of water without being told or asked. He’s really the heart of peoples court
Editing. It's possible that they cut out a request for water. 😊
@@cousinsister69 He asked if she wanted it and she looked at him and nodded. He's the one who was talking in the background.
@@cousinsister69 why are you aiming to make him look bad? 🤢
@@silverfox5030 Making him look bad was not my intention. I was just musing on the fact that most things we see on screens have had editing. I obviously missed seeing him offering a glass of water. I agree, he's very thoughtful if he did. 😊
I also liked that he stepped in quickly when the Defendant came close to show the judge pictures and Doug put himself in front of the Defendant like nope, go back-Ill get it
My heart goes out to her. Clearly suffering from an anxiety disorder. And these comments stating she's doing it for attention are so disheartening. Anxiety isn't pretty.
That's immediately what I thought. My mom is some what like that. She gets very flustered when she's anxious. I always have to step in and help her because she can not function well under certain circumstances. My mom is diagnosed high anxiety and manic disorder. My heart goes out to anyone like that.
you are so right!
You’re absolutely correct!
I have anxiety this bad and it's absolutely awful. Getting this flustered is humiliating so it makes it even worse
At her age she should be under a doctor's care and taking medication. Clearly she is NOT. I'd keep a lot of distance from her.
You can tell this woman's anxiety controls her.
I’ve dealt with it too
It's not a choice unfortunately
She was either extremely nervous or has anxiety issues. She was all over the place, losing her papers.
theres a reason its hard to find a place to rent when u have big dogs and i guarantee u that the landlord had damages from those dogs that were not even mentioned .

I have anxiety which might appear similar to this lady's. I would NEVER have the courage to go where there are cameras focused on me. She was very brave. I believe she was glad when it was all over, so she could rush back to her home & her beloved dogs. Peace & privacy. To just shut out the world & breathe. 😊
she didnt have to agree to go on national TV. She could have easily said no and handled this at a local court. That was her choice.
then why the F did she go on the People's court? People just looking for a chance to be on TV and walk to that awesome intro music. I would do the same actually
@@SDwilly perhaps she thought she could handle it and it was overwhelming when actually there.

Is it really anxiety, Or is she just a liar ? She started crying the minute she walked into the court room.
There was more than anxiety going on there..

She has MAJOR anxiety symptoms, perhaps she failed to take her meds. But paying cash is a no no. 🤔

Me too 🤣🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🍷🍾🥂🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃, I'm not going to laugh at anyone that has anxiety but after watching her now I have anxiety
JM "Give me a receipt if you want the cash I have here woowoowoo!" 🤣🤣🤣
She’s either got extreme anxiety, or she’s on something/coming off something, whether prescription, alcohol, or illicit. If it’s anxiety, she needs to do a better job before a situation like this of organizing and writing things down to keep her on track. This episode made me anxious 😬
I was actually waiting for this to come up during the case, whether the defendant mentioned it, maybe regarding “the fire” he suspected that she caused abs covered up , or for Judge Milan to ask her if she had a drinking problem, I could see Judge M really studying her actions. I understand that not everyone can see it in another person, but there are some of us, it’s very obvious. Like during the whole video, I was saying out loud, over and over, the whole time I was watching,”she’s an alcoholic, this lady’s an alcoholic, I can’t understand why no-one is stating the obvious, she’s an alcoholic”. Judge am is typically really good at identifying this type of behavior, she was probably just over the hot mess that was the a plaintiff, and ready to rule to get her out of her courtroom, cause every move she made, from the fidgeting(looking like anxiety), wiping the cracks of her mouth, dry mouth when speaking, and just her blatant disarray. I’m like hyper-aware of these behaviors and actions. Once you’ve loved, and lived with one for years, you “just know”. I hope someone who loves her gets her attention, and some help as well.
Kk
@@crazykitties7118 Well, I'm kind of relieved it's alcohol, because I was thinking meth. Hyper, fidgety, fast-talking, confused, couldn't be still for a second.
I'm glad no one I'm close to is like that. It would make me a nervous wreck just being around them.
I think she does have serious anxiety. I suffer with it myself and I gotta agree I was just about to be in a panic attack watching this one!! 😬 I mean maybe I'm wrong you don't know about anyone anymore but I can say true anxiety/depression is real! She needs someone to help her with all this stuff for sure!
It made me want to take something.
If the plaintiff is not getting medical assistance with her anxiety, she should be. Perhaps it was exasperated by appearing on the show, but I truly hope other areas of her life are less chaotic for her, there is no quality of life when one is living with that level of anxiety.
I have anxiety which might appear similar to this lady's & would NEVER go into this situation. I commend her for her bravery & wish her & her doggos the best. 😊
@@cousinsister69 Yes it must have been difficult for her to put herself out there on national TV. I have individuals close to me that live with anxiety, and I think they would be much like you, they would not entertain the idea of going on PC.

She's extremely anxious and misguided... She's old enough to know if u stay in a place or leave anything in a place past the date u are to be out then u owe. Even turning the keys in 2 days after the 15th she owes.. The only reason people hold onto keys is to keep moving stuff out.
I pray she gets the help she needs.. She looks completely flustered and just.... Yeah.

Bless the plaintiffs heart. She was falling all over herself.
I think if she had help with her case she would have won what she wanted . I don't think she had mental capacity
So sick of people blessing the heart of others who plainly have problems and don't seem to be seeking help for them, be they meth, anxiety or some other psychological problem.
She has anxiety. But imagine being THIS guy. Her emotional/psychological issues deserve empathy, but he's not a therapist nor her relative. No one needs to be visited by nor is equipped to deal with a person's mental issues.
I don't think she's on drugs. She seems to have really bad anxiety and is extremely nervous.
I could be wrong, but she strikes me as someone who used to use drugs but is sober at the moment.

The plaintiff made me uncomfortable the entire time. I thought she was gunna have a breakdown at one point.
I thought she'd leave when the judge corrected her on the dates.
If there was ever a judge with class and compassion it is for sure judge Milian!!
I bet she is a candle burner, which doesn't leave a 'fire' smell but leaves ash smoke that is oily and settles everywhere, and you can't just 'paint' over it, you have to wash everything down first. He should have been entitled to keep some of her security deposit...
I'm a candle burner and never realized how much residue they leave!!! My bedroom walls were a mess 😆🤦🏼♀️ but she also said she wasn't a candle burner when the judge asked
Jeezuz. Seems like a nice lady but seems like she's all over the place. I wouldn't want to deal with her.
I ended a friendship because it was just too exhausting to hear her go on like this lady does. Always dropping things and yapping trying explain things away. Your dogs probably are untrained that’s why you say that. My toddler destroyed the house more than my dog all my dog did was accidentally give birth in the kitchen Lmfao and even then that was cleanable 🤷🏻♀️

Unless you have or live with someone who has SEVERE ANXIETY DISORDER you have no idea how bad it really is
Give me a damn break. So many landlords try milking $$$ from a tenant, I have been renting for 44 yrs and I'm clean quiet and responsible. All I can say is GET reciept and document EVERYTHING, do walk thru WITH pictures and PAPERS. The law is true if you stay even 1 day over your stay, you do have to pay for that 30 days. In my state there is a book from attorney's general office called "TENTS VERSUS LANDLORDS RIGHTS". It's a great booklet and it shows A LOT of info on rights, them vs you. If you live in NY state call them and they will mail it to you. EDUCATE YOURSELF YOU WONT REGRET IT!🙏
It was a good verdict but I have seen another episode of People’s Court that mentioned ghosting from baseboard radiators. It wasn’t soot throughout the whole place though, it was marks on the walls right around the radiators.
Rumor has it, she drank a gallon of water afterwards and was seen breathing into a paper bag, Bless her.
Her movements made me nervous. She has A LOT of energy and is extremely anxious.
I work with a lady like this. I stay clear away from her. She doesn't know what she's says half the time.
I respect her being anxious, but she’s an adult. Not knowing that if you stay a day into the new month, you owe that month is silly

She called him a loudmouth?
This woman is either a liar or very confused. She never gave the defendant any money for April's rent, She paid him for March. If she moved out April 15th and didn't give him the keys back until April 17th. Then she owed him April rent. She's a waitress. She didn't pay the defendant and her new landlord rent at the same time. That's a bunch of BS.
I feel so bad for the plaintiff, her anxiety is through the roof, but that’s no excuse for damaging the apartment house.
I feel bad for anyone that suffers from anxiety, depression or any other mental illness.
