Drew you made my day Buddy. I just got the 2019 Camaro 2 SS in Black, with 3 miles on it. The silly part is the dealer has no clue or they don't know how to run it down for you on how it all works. By you running it all down got me in the game. The tech. Mode on dash and the head's up display are huge. I learner ton's of stuff from your Vid.

To anyone looking to get a Camaro don't hold back get the 2019 Camaro 2 SS you will not regret it. I got it with the 10 Speed auto, it has all the bells that ZL1 has, without the price tag. This is the year Chevy Camaro Shines. Well done Chevy.

Was not sure about the looks at first but grew to really love it.
Just curious for all the folks out there....looking at a 2019 2SS convertible. I like the options and the rear camera helps the blind spots a LOT. But it's going to be an occasional daily driver and I'm wondering about the reliability. We tend to purchase vehicles to drive until the wheels fall off and the last Camaro's we had were a 75 and a 78.
Good review. Honest look at the “good and the bad”. Any time Chevy changes the Camaro, people complain. They complained when they went from the 69 style to the “radical” 70 look.

I own a 2011 Camaro SS convertible. Love it!! Planned on buying the refreshed 2019 but didn't really like what I saw in the photos. However, your excellent review changed my mind. I'll have to visit my Chevy dealer and see one in person.

The only thing Chevy & Ford are both missing are Performance Pages. Dodge is killin it with that!
The Dodge Performance Pages are nice, but only if the UConnect screen is working. I would buy a Daytona 392 in a heartbeat if I could only trust Fiat's electronics.

Excellent and comprehensive review. By the time of this comment we know that the Camaro as we know it is no more such an iconic American nameplate. I didn't realize what a bargain the car was in 2019. Like many things pricing took a huge hike, by the 2024 model year about a 15 or so percent price hike.
Does the glovebox light up when you open it? Looked kinda like it was in video. Does the center console have a light inside? I hate unlit glove boxes. Pet peeves of mine. So inexpensive to have it but most vehicles don't. Especially foreign cars now a days.

The storage part... don’t bother putting stuff up by the shifter. It will wind up down in between the seats (good luck getting your phone out the tight crevice) or on the floorboard.
Im not a big fan of the new refresh body style. Thanks Chevy for making my 2017, 50th anniversary Camaro a more desirable car then the 2019.

They killed the Heritage of the Camaro by messing with its looks like they have. The front and back morphed into something that’s not even recognizable as a Camaro. I swear the designers smoke crack!
This new full LED front end design is beautiful! Makes the Mustang exterior look very dated.
Good video. As for that ceramic interior color, it's not for me. I had ash in a GMC Sierra. It's nice to look at when new, but a bear to keep clean.

I love my 18 only thing I would want is the ten speed transmission
The good: the engine the sound and the handling
The bad: pretty much everything else about this car
So pretty much the things most people prioritize most in a sports car (which the GEN6 Camaro is BTW) are what the new Camaro is good at? The value is also very good from a performance per-$ point of vue. Alpha platform is excellent, build quality is great, Tremec 6060 and the 10L80 are both very good. Looks are subjective, but they've grown on me.
The trunk opening is small, the rear seat is useless, the roof is a little low for talk people wearing a helmet. Yes the rear visibility sucks if you don't like using mirrors. IMHO the rear visibility is still better than it was in the GEN5's, or the Challengers. I would also say having AFM(DOD) is also a negative.
Beautiful car I hated the front grill at first,Intel I recently saw the 2019 Camaro in person it looks so good,my dream car I want a 2SS or ZL1

Oh, why does GM still insist on making the turn signal blinking sound so damn loud? Man that sounds ridiculous 😒. So annoying. Blinker and start up chimes so loud. No need for any of it. Wish could lower their volume, turn off completely, or like my daily car... ability to change blinker noise type. Either a very soft "click, click" or a digital style soft "beep, beep". But at least they are CHOICES I can pick.
In video the car looks like crap in the front but in person the front looks nice 👍

There are 9, NINE, sets of wheels to choose From. From as low as $200 for 4 up to $3k for lightweight and strong Forged wheels. Black gloss, flat black, black w/red stripe, carbon flash, chrome, silver, painted gray, etc. Numerous center caps too along with gas cap colors(carbon w/colored center is sweet).
Go to GM configurator. Lots of suspension, interior, exterior and under hood cool accessories. Can even lower the SS if no mag-ride shocks.
Looks sick lowered and raked with the ground effects package. Though for 2019 I don't see a red hood center stripe like a stinger look. Other colors though.
Lots of customization. Could really make a black, red, or white car really sick looking with some additional accessories options.

Andre Allen ...I’m 6-5 and 270 pounds. I have no problem fitting in my 2017 2ss Camaro. The seats should accommodate your size but you won’t have much of a back seat. As my kids are grown up so I have no need for them. Love my car but that’s just my opinion

I own a Mustang V-6 and would like to upgrade to a Mustang GT. However, I don't want the new ones, because they come with plastic oil pans and drain plugs. I heard that Ford stopped using the plastic oil pans on the Raptors and went back to metal due to leaks. WTF, Ford!

The front design of this Camaro is ugly ! It reminds me of old Chevy trucks, the front now looks like a big hole ! You destroyed the design of this Camaro generation GM! Sorry to say that! But Mustang ,Corvette,Challanger and Demon are far better than this ! They didn' t bothered to change the interior! I hate that Camaro goes in this design direction !
