- Hisense American fridge freezer. Black in colour. No plumbing required just fill the water tub and it's ready for cold water and ice (crushed or normal cubes). It's the last stock from last year hence it's a but cheaper than the other fridge freezer.

Hi we've just got this fridge freezer. How do I know that it's making ice? Is there anything I need to do? Have filled up the water thing and emptied a few glasses of water x

@@abitibble8201 fill up the water container and it should make the ice by its own, you do have to set up the ice maker but it's easy, just follow the instructions and then all you have to do is select if you want it crushed or cubed. I'm sure you've got it figured out by now but I'm sorry I took so long to respond,some notifications don't come through.

They haven’t licensed anything from LG. They’re a direct competitor to South Korean companies and a huge company in their own right. They make fridges for the Fridgemaster brand and many own-brand makes.
They’re only cheaper than the competition because they have the huge scale and are trying to enter the western markets and take over. Prices will rise once they get the market share. Just like when a new car company (Kia etc) enters the UK.
They make great TVs too.

We just bought one, but can you tell me the white compartment you had in your hand does that replace one of the clear freezer compartments? I tried and it seems too small.
It's to substitute the ice maker if you don't want to make any so you got more storage

We got it about January I think and that's when they have clear out. They always sell old stock that they've got
How long does it take for the ice to be produced. Mind dispenses water but no ice cubes are produced ? Does your work ?
It takes 6-12 hours for the first lot of ice then it seems to go a bit quicker 3-4 hours then it's ok. Try to draw water through the water dispenser as that will prime the ice machine
Is anybody know why ice maker and water dispenser stop working? 6months old Hisense.

Hello. The fridge freezer that we've got need no plumbing required. There's a water container inside that you need to fill and that's it ready to go. Hope this help

Hello there. Yes you need to leave it for couple of days at least for the ice to start going. Then once it start going that's it you're on the roll. Hope this help you

How do you make the ice? do you have to fill the ice bucket in the freezer or fill the water tank in the fridge?

You have to wait at least 2 days to make ice. It takes time but once it get going it work really well. Hope this help you

Hello, I have almost the same fridge freezer & it's been plugged in for a few days now, we can get the cold water but the ice maker isn't filling up. Did you need to do something? We have it turned on to make ice (i.e. we have not pressed the touchscreen which says 'no ice') there isn't anything in the manual! I feel that the water isn't travelling to the ice maker. Any help would be appreciated :)
Hi, yours sounds broken. It should just work without anything special being pressed by you. You should hear the ice maker filling up once every 4 hours. If you're getting water to flow through the dispenser then you should be getting ice. Ice should be made every 4 hours.
