Im married to a country Viet woman and she is leagues more motivated than i. Still i would do what these guys have done and she wouldn't. Vietnamese people are definitely the best
Your adventures are really different than other vloggers who only showcase the good or just the food parts. I appreciate the rawness of these adventures. Keep it up!
Maximum adventure, rain, mud, landslides, flat tyre, cold, wet, dirt. Wow…. And still smiling, that’s character. You won’t forget this day for the rest of your lives. Respect!
Incredible video! Speechless. What amazing perseverance you all have. Besides both of you, Dad is awesome and quite the adventurer! I also loved the kindness of the Vietnamese people!
Awesome effort guys that road looked so dicey I was worried that you might slide over the edge. A lot of people would have bailed out but you kept going.
Another epic Vid. 👍👍At 9 mins in Cheveyo when you said you don't know why you worry so much when you look back to see if Tia and your Dad are ok. = Because you LOVE them so much. You're so loving and caring for Tia, glad you found a mechanic to get her front tyre fixed. You handled your fall very well Tia.👏👏 Look fwd to your next Vid. Love from Australia. Pete 💞💞🌄🌄🛵🛵🛵
I love the way you can express your emotions without being judged. The way you all support and protect one another thru the difficult parts of the journey. Also people helping one another. Just beautiful to see ❤
Held my breath a few times. Beyond anything l ever would have attempted, especially on a bike. Kudos to each of you. Tia, you are one very brave tough cookie. Stay safe.
9:00 because of love. Looked super slippery! Tia, you're doing great! All of you are a great team!! This day will be one to tell the grandkids!! Great work guys!
definitely this journey was the most difficult and it will make you (especially Tia) stronger. The vietnamese have endured many challenges, hence the people are very resiliant. Great Video and thank you for sharing your journeys.
Tia Cheveyo and Dad, you all have my utmost admiration for your "intestinal fortitude" (guts) and determination for the goal of reaching your next shower and warm bed, whilst appreciating the worst mother nature can throw at you and admiring the most magnificent scenery. Dad you are one quiet and strong super guy, and I'm sure you knows how much you are appreciated. I still can't get over how those water buffalo give way to oncoming motor bikes. Do they realise just how big they are, yet they give way! Great vlog guys, keep on keeping on.
Great video, thank you for sharing your experiences! Having visited VN regularly since 1994, the resiliency of Vietnamese people never ceases to amaze me.
Said it before, but will say it again, Tia is a Champ! Kudos to all three of you for weathering that day, and as others have commented, You will Never forget it!
How lucky you guys are! The old man with a little child just showed out of nowhere at the peak moment when you guys about to turn around. The old man and little kid hinted that this is nothing, it's just a normal thing in their every day. It's like a discovery, a delighted moment.
oh my god, guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I usually don´t comment, I just watch and enjoy... but this time, I just have to say: you are crazy like hell!!! I mean, I was sweating, and shaking just watching, and I cried with Tia at the end and Tia was just amazing!!! you all were just amazing... I hope the next days will get smoother and wishing you the best time ever!! many greetings from germany!!!
This is quite an adventure, didn't expect things to get harder and harder as the vlog goes on, couldn't even tell the mud stream apart from road at one point. Even most Viet wouldn't be able to made it if they're not extremely familiar with the terrain here. Biggest props to you guys, especially to Tia for pushing it thru 👏. I wonder if you have 4g service out there for google translate, the first guy you encountered at 11:55 was actually asking if there's landslide where you just passed 😅 One of the best episode so far in both Vietnam series, it would be easier for us to follow along if you guys share some more about the route planning process (route highlighted on map), time/location/distance covered each day, etc..
Hơi tiếc vì các bạn thực hiện hành trình này vào đúng mùa mưa lũ, sạt lở. Nhưng không sao, hi vọng các bạn cảm thấy thú vị về hành trình của mình. Chúc các bạn an toàn và may mắn.
To the generosity of the locals! We would do the same in reserved ... celebrate the power of humanity and kindness in each and everyone of us!!! 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰
One word sums up the three of you. "LEGENDS". What an experience, what a story. That's what living is all about. Congratulations and cheers for letting me tag with you.
Hi Tia, Cheveyo and Jason. There was some rough roads with the landslides etc, but you guys eventually made to your destination. Beautiful scenery even though it was one of your hardest days on the bikes. It's ok to get emotional Tia and I wish I was there to support and give you a hug. Tia you did a great job with navigating through the rough roads and terrain. You are a strong, beautiful and amazing young woman. I'm so proud of you Tia. Stay strong Tia and you have a great bloke in Cheveyo that will always make sure you are safe. What a awesome couple you both are and Jason was there as well to help and look after you guys. The videos you make and post online are great. Looking forward to the next video. Take care guys with love ❤. Pete Slade, Adelaide South Australia.
The high of accomplishment can be matched by no drug. My wife and I rode 4400km through Vietnam in 2015. We bought old Honda Win copies that broke down most days. Once a man with a baby in a backpack welded my bike back together. The next year we walked The Camino de Santiago Frances which was a wonderfully care free month compared to the ride.
You are guys are amazing. TIA, I LOVE your resilience and ability to pause and put everything into context. To be the kind of person who can take stock and go from despondent to appreciative within moments really speaks volumes of you as a human. I hope we can all be a little more like you in that respect. You're really a perfect travelling party. Kudos to you all.

" Watching two foreigners travel to Vietnam for the first time through difficult challenges on dangerous murky weather roads the two of you accept the challenge with a bright smile the two of you overcome difficulties easily and happily because so thank you for inspiring us the video is great thank you both wish you both health and safety always keep a smile on your face thank you " .......
the landscape and views are incredible and your adventure is certainly giving you a lot of challenges (but then a lot to be proud of by getting through them) but by far the most impressive thing is how very loving, supportive and positive you all are to get through days like that and still being able to see the beauty of where you are and feel glad that you're there. that's why i enjoy your videos - you're extraordinarily beautiful people. thanks for sharing your travels with us.
You guys inspire me so much!! Especially Tia!! Seeing you take on every challenge with a smile makes me want to try things out of my comfort zone. You are so brave and I love that you show the good times and the hard times because it's easy to make everything look easy and fun but that's not reality so thank you for keeping it real with us. Amazing content and I hope you enjoy a nice meal and get some good sleep after that whirlwind of a day!! ✨
Wow now that was intense. Tia you have such fortitude, and you don't have the muscle strength of Cheveyo and his dad, so amazing effort. And remember, even the best riders drop their bike. You did it under such horrendous conditions, I dropped mine on a roundabout LOL. Great achievement to get through that.....now that's a memory.
When I read the news about landslides, I was thinking of you guys and I was worry about your safety. Thanks God you guys are safe. Tia, you are so brave. I held my breath so many times when watching this adventure. Take care.
That looked like good fun. What's next, crossing raging flood waters ? I would say stay safe but it would probably more appropriate to say good luck surviving ya mad buggers. Tia and Chevo your brave but dad your my cool hand Luke. What a team, what an adventure. Best vlog on the net. Best wishes from Perth.
Tia - I just really appreciate your vulnerability in sharing your complex feelings on this day. I feel like you and I are very similar... I cried when you said, "Do you ever just get stuck in a mindset?" YES. TOTALLY. You are not alone. But you did and will continue to do the scary, yet amazing, things... even if you "mess it up" a bit along the way. I will too - I promise! I'm proud of you.
Well done. A positive attitude with a view that it is about enjoying the journey as much as the destination, will get you through most anything. Amazing people - you and those you met along the way.
Dad has his own RUclips channel! Lots of fascinating observations, and a very unique vibe to his videos. The channel is linked in the video description - it's called Loner Cycle 🙂
It would have been so great if you had ended with a GREAT MEAL!!! A very difficult day but VERY REWARDING haven gone through it!!! You all did GRRRRREAT, love the episode, THANKS!!!
HI guys - firstly want to say that I randomly started following you during your AU trip AND the 2nd day of me following you I saw you both at the Queen Vic markets. I was just out of shot as you filmed eating the donuts. ( no chance i was going to come up to you both but I clocked it was you ). Secondly - This upload was amazing and I loved how real you all allow yourselves to be. Well done!
Its days as tough as this that makes you appreciate the journey you have been on. That looked a challenging day, well done for persevering and getting through! I'm sure a nice bowl of Pho and some beers would have been welcomed and deserved! Who doesn't love Vietnam! SUBSCRIBE!
So glad that you're safe! And that you made it to your destination after such a long day. The perseverance, strength, and emotions you showed to get through such a challenging day is incredible and inspiring. And it's so lovely how you support one other and are kind to one another. It was also so heartwarming to see strangers being so willing to help each other. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
First followed these guys through their journey in Australia. Was sad when they left and thought they'd be heading home to rest. The next thing they're on motorbikes riding about Vietnam in the mountain rain True travellers and One Pack Wanderers~
Hi Tia, so proud of you to be able to achieved the optical of the situation. The adventure taught us to over come and proved that you can do a lot more than you can and build up your confident for the next goal. I'm so excited to watch your clips and hope you all have a most amazing ride through north VN.
I originally started watching you guys cos I enjoyed you trying food and seeing buildings, but now I realise this is the stuff I really love seeing the most. Sensational effort all.
G'Day guys, brilliant work, far out Tia you are a trooper, make sure that guy puts a ring on your finger, because there are thousands of men out here admiring your wonderful nature and spirit.
WOW! I feel like I need a good shower and one of those strong hot Vietnamese coffees after watching this! Tia is such a trooper and love how you are all so supportive and caring of one another! Adversity makes you stronger and will make your goals and achievements that much sweeter! Take care!
I am soooo impressed. Tia you have had your trial by fire Opps i mean mud. There are two kinds of bikers those that have dropped their bikes and those who are going to drop their bikes. It's always mortifying. At least you have it out of the way. Fantastic adventure. Your entering the top tier for adventure travers.
Rock on Tia! I travel the world with severe anxiety, chronic and panic attacks. I can relate with what you are going through and you did awesome. When you need support you have Cheveyo and Jason. Congrats to all on a fabulous day!
The man Cheveyo bro for leading the charge and holding it down for your lady! You are a true trooper Tia! gotta love, hate challenging days like this but what an adventure! The people an culture are amazing, as is the country. Shout out to the Dads👏👏
The three of you are having an amazing adventure but Tia YOU ARE AWESOME 😊. I couldn't imagine having to do to that journey myself, I just know I couldn't do it. The world will never stop you Tia ! Thank you for taking us with you on your adventures ❤
That was enthralling. Well done guys. On a lighter note I got my 63 year old wife to do a Mary for scale at the GWK in Bali last week. Both of you and dad are legends. Safe travels Peter xx
WOW! Fantastic adventure and the love and support you have for each other is inspiring. This was a great video. Thanks so much for taking us along on your experiences.
Hi !! WOW !!! What a trip! Tia , I am so proud of the strength you have and confidence of getting through it all!! I love you so much guys!! I miss you Cheveyo and think of you all the time!! The love and support you give to Tia is just how you always have been ! Warm and comforting!!
What a nail biter!! 😮 Thank you for keeping it real with the emotions. They need to have an outlet, just like Tia said! You guys all did amazing persevering through the mud and landslides. Tia, I (Heather) tipped my bike at motorcycle class and was also totally shaken! Hearing you talk about it brought me back to that moment. The adrenaline, the nerves, the shakiness I felt. All we can do is get back on and not let the fear take over - and that's exactly what you did! So dang proud of you. ❤❤❤
Cheveyo you and your Dad were really awesome and supportive. I’m so impressed by you both. Tia you were an absolute trooper. It was a very very difficult day. You made it through. I’m so proud of you. You were so strong.
Thanks for sharing your trials and tribulations with us. It's refreshing to have a front row seat and witness the challenges that travellers have to deal with when visiting remote locations, especially during the wet season. You remained calm and intelligent and eventually overcame the obstacles (literally) like champions! You should be proud of what you achieved.
There is so much pure love and togetherness in this video... The way you all fought through individually, yet stayed united in helping each other and encouraging each other even though you were all pushed to your limits was a joy to share. Not even Blueberry could have got through that. I bet she's all safe n sound with her new family :) ... Australia misses you... Get dry and rest up before making your next move. Much love 💯
Going through a tough time myself, I have written a short text to remind me to just - keep - moving - forward. Thanks, Tia for being such a great inspiration: Tia thought the mud puddle and the flat tire were the hardest things that had happened to her, but she didn’t know they were yet to face landslides and a flooded path. At the first hiccup, she was already an emotional mess. Still, she just kept going. With enormous courage, she made it to the end. The victory felt bittersweet but even more satisfying. She has a loving partner that supports her every step of the way. He’s her rock, and she treasures him deeply. She's forever grateful for him and for this day. She may not realise it yet, but these experiences are building her resilience, a treat that is so hard to get these days.
Wow i am exhausted . Need a good hot meal and sleep after watching that. 😊. Good job guys . I Love dad, obviously that's where you get your adventurous spirit .
That was amazing and well documented! I imagine Tia had a really good cry after that. You all must have been totally exhausted. I think you put @paddydoyle to shame on this one!
What an adventure. Shows that Love and trust between all of you overcomes all fears. Tia in her Little Red Riding Hood outfit was an inspiration. The big bad wolf was the terrain. Which she conquered. I can imagine your children and then grandchildren listening and watching your adventures with wide mouthed amazement that you where so brave. What stories they will relate in “ Show and Tell” at school. Providing of course that they still do it. Lol.
WOW....that was one amazing journey for you all. It was so good to see that you didn't give in even when there didn't even seem to be a way to get through. Tia is so strong and brave. Thank goodness for competent Dad's and loving Husbands. I love following your journeys.
You two are the best! Thank you for bringing us along on such a challenging, crazy day. I’ve seen a bunch of Vietnam videos, but none like this. The only thing missing was Tia for scale.
I love this in a good way 😊. Imaging many years later when you sitting around with your children showing them this. You’ll have many stories to tell. There would be no adventure if everything goes as planned. I hope you guys push further and discover what lay ahead. Enjoy your journey.
That was the kind of adventure that separates the travellers from the tourists. You'll never forget that day.
That's an awesome distinction! #TaverlersNotTourists #TaverlerNotTourist
The chemistry between Tia and Cheveyo is so endearing.. Aside from the amazing content and commentary, it’s their relationship with each other makes the videos so enjoyable to watch.
EXACTLY!
So what really separates you Tia and Cheveyo in the vlogging world is the rawness of your videos.
- You truly are exploring the unknown
- You show us the true emotional whirlwind that comes with this type of traveling.
- The unscripted interactions with locals
- Dad.
All of that and more, plus the incredible improvement on the video editing and visuals throughout the years really stands out for me personally.
Tia: “If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.”

I like that quote a lot 😊
Vietnamese people are amazing. They strive on, help strangers, with a smile, no matter the obstacle.
Yeah i respect VN people

Difficult episode but I keep re-watching it, 3rd time already! Love it!!! Must be because of the many memorable moments!😅😅😅
Stay safe.
“What doesn’t kill me, makes me stronger.” Friedrich Nietzsche. Quite an emotional and physical journey that day! Thanks for taking us along.
It was one of those days that, in retrospect, was one of the best days.
Man y'all are troopers for going through that northern trail during rainy season
Tia Cheveyo and Dad, you all have my utmost admiration for your "intestinal fortitude" (guts) and determination for the goal of reaching your next shower and warm bed, whilst appreciating the worst mother nature can throw at you and admiring the most magnificent scenery. They don't always give way! I had at least two close calls with these beasts.......
Great video, thank you for sharing your experiences! Having visited VN regularly since 1994, the resiliency of Vietnamese people never ceases to amaze me.
Said it before, but will say it again, Tia is a Champ!
Kudos to all three of you for weathering that day,
and as others have commented, You will Never forget it!
Even on your most difficult day you achieve beautiful videos and commentary. I cried twice watching this, and was worried about you three
I ❤❤ Vietnam. Tia will remember this like a BOSS... 3 years we lived there (from Oz) and you brought back the memories😊
How lucky you guys are! The old man with a little child just showed out of nowhere at the peak moment when you guys about to turn around. The old man and little kid hinted that this is nothing, it's just a normal thing in their every day. It's like a discovery, a delighted moment.
❤"The old man with a little child just showed out of nowhere at the peak moment" ❤
You all did awesome. Tia, you did it. Such a strong women.
I'd choose this kind of adventure over being driven around in a tour bus any time! Can't wait for your next video already! Take care and be safe!
Aww you guys are brave! All 3 of you! Tia did amazing and Cheveyo you’re an amazing/supportive partner🤍🙌🏽🙌🏽

I am soooo impressed. Tia you have had your trial by fire Opps i mean mud. There are two kinds of bikers those that have dropped their bikes and those who are going to drop their bikes. It's always mortifying. At least you have it out of the way. Fantastic adventure. Your entering the top tier for adventure travers.
you 3 are so brave to drive bikes on rural mountainous roads in the North of Viet-Nam. May God bless all of you a safe trips
Rock on Tia! I travel the world with severe anxiety, chronic and panic attacks. I can relate with what you are going through and you did awesome. When you need support you have Cheveyo and Jason. Congrats to all on a fabulous day!
Wow. That was so dangerous. Glad you made it through safely.

Hi !!
It's amazing!
You Guys are so encouraged!
Take care & be safe!
Welcome to the world of adventure motorcycle riding. What a great adventure! Thank you for letting me come along for the ride.
Ha! Wasn't the plan, but you know......
That was truly terrifying to me 😊, I’m so glad you’re ok. Tia is so brave! Stay safe
Much love 💯
You will never forget that day and how you overcame your frustrations, anxiety and fears. Amazing and thank you for being so honest 🥰🇦🇺
My respect for you guys is growing.I am captivated by your trials and victories.
You guys so awesome! The content you guys have built so many memories and these videos will record such awesome moments of ur lives
Well done to all of you for getting through that lot. It looked horrendous on camera, so it must have been 10× worse in person
Tia has done an amazing job !
Tough conditions for experienced rider's 😊
Going through a tough time myself, I have written a short text to remind me to just - keep - moving - forward. Thanks, Tia for being such a great inspiration:
Tia thought the mud puddle and the flat tire were the hardest things that had happened to her, but she didn’t know they were yet to face landslides and a flooded path.
Brave and committed!
Having ridden for 45 years ,I understand the trepidation after a stack, however when you get past that ,you'll feel stronger.
I enjoyed your video.
One of my fav vids so far. Thanks for sharing the good and the not so good times. 🙏
That road was insane. What an experience!
Well done Tia!
Everyone who rides, has dropped their bike. Multiple times. You did it in a monsoon on the side of a Vietnamese mountain. Legend!✌️
well said.
