Clara and Welt occupy this strange place among 5-stars where, like, they’re extremely good at doing what they want to do… but what they want to do doesn’t quite have a place in a lot of meta games.

I disagree on Welt, because while he's made as a jack of all trades, he can be tuned to suit some teams ABSURDLY well and there's some tricks you can pull with him. I run him as the enabler of Ratio's CHALK attacks and in some fights, you can hold on to his ult and activate it as the boss first attack goes through. If the boss isn't imprison immune or dodges the effect, you negate its second turn and completly wreck its future turn orders. There are many fights where HE was the MVP for newbie me, especially the Deer and Bug Bosses.
@@TheNekoGentlemanwelt actually work really well in simulate universe endgame mode like swarm or gold/gear in which your team survival is more important than dealing the most damage. Remembrance blessing increases effect hit rate to a astronomical amount letting welt to perma imprison anything to cheese the mode. Unlike other ice dps when dealing with ice resistant boss, welt can save your run
I'm actually waiting for a 5 star limited version of Clara.. Especially a male version that is more like a brawler or something.. Because from what we have, standard 5 star being replaced by 5 star limited.. imagine if there was a 4 star support with some massive (i mean ruan mei like) buffs but the trade off is that they make enemy actions advance n happen quicker. it would be like a double edged sword but characters like clara or blade could benefit yk

@@maxxheidrich2842 yeah, but that kinda defeats the purpose, if you could intentionally give the enemies more attacks per cycle that makes clara stronger. If you slow your own team down you are just getting fewer hits per cycle which is already the problem with clara in the meta since most end game modes are cycle based.

Making enemies move faster sounds stupid, let's state opinions that are within the realm of possibilities that also makes sense at the same time. Slowing down team is already ridiculous honestly. Perhaps a damage buff to single ally with lowering speed as downside sounds possible
7:10 This is wrong. Because Clara's FuA only hits once, she barely gets any attack from the 4pc. The 2pc/2pc is a viable option, though a few percent worse than 4pc boxing.

Clara only gets stronger the stronger and faster the enemies are; just imagine her fua attacks when she fights against really fast enemies. All she demands is an aggro and consistent sustain.
@@iker9095 That's why using the Tingyun and Houhou combo works so well, when 90% of your counters are enhanced it doesn't matter how many times that **** fox gets hit.
I main Clara since release, it always frustrated me how despite the fact Clara is averagely recognized as good (A-tier), most of the people didn't even concider her as an option. Upon Ratio release, Clara almost completely disappeared out of radar. I know that Clara is amazing, even op when put in perfect conditions
Would be neat if we had an enemy barrage mini game event where the enemies are ridiculously fast or take a lot of actions. Characters like Clara, blade and aventurine would be the best in that game mode
I've been using a Clara + Aventurine team, having her take hits and throw damage back out, but staying alive due to Aventurine's meaty shields. Having Himeko on the team is nice as well to do some good follow-up damage once Clara breaks shields
i built a full counter team clara - followup counter march 7th - increase aggro, followup counter aventurine - Full team sustain, increase crit dmg taken by enemy, followup counter topaz - Increase follow up attack taken by enemy, numby counter so every cycle is like this >enemy aoe attack >clara counter >march 7th counter >aventurine counter >numby counter
@@artemsheen8064 March is not useless. She has incredible synergy with Clara, and her use of follow up attacks puts her in a good spot to be used with Aventurine, because his follow up builds off of allies doing follow up attacks.
@@artemsheen8064doesn't march actually have very good synergy with aventurine?? He gives all allies a shield and march fua's when a shield is hit. And aventurine has stacks increasing with attacks on shield + fuas, so it makes march always fua, up to 3 times per turn (at e4) and in best case scenarios (everyone AOE gets hit) that means in one enemy attack, he would gain 7+ stacks at once: 3 stacks for the allies hit, 2 stacks for aventurine getting hit, 1 stack from Clara's fua, 1 stack from march's fua, numby fua from all the fuas. And it seems like a very useable team, of course at the disadvantages of march and Clara, as shown in this video.
Clara main since launch and still cleaning MOC and PF with her as the hypercarry of one of my teams. Definitely hurts how almost every new char/mechanics is counter intuitive(or partially) to her kit but ig I find fun in making her work no matter what. Plus her playstyle is just really fun
Clara has transitioned really well to the modern meta with Pure Fiction and its FUA buffs as well as a plethora of enemies. Even if enemies are defeated or cced, new enemies are constantly being spawned in which also means a constant flow of attackers for Clara to counter. Physical is also a common weakness in at least one half of PF4. Clara and Himeko make PF a breeze, and if you have a built Clara you should be capable of enjoying an easy PF whenever follow up buffs are in rotation.
I'm a devoted E3S1 Clara loyalist, despite her only being my 3rd standard 5 star I received. I have so much fun with her that I pulled for all the follow-up characters you can think of just to make her even more powerful. By extension this makes me a follow-up main too, so I dabble in other similar teams but they pretty much always include her. One day, my Clara will slay countless godlike beings and she won't even lift a finger to do it! All hail the Blood Rabbit!
Personally ive found she works quite well with Aven (depending on the enemies) I place them next to each other, and as long as the enemies have a blast attack of sorts, they just absolutely demolish things From the looks of it tho quite a few enemies have gotten aoe/blast/bounce attacks now, which is pretty nice She makes for a decent sub dps, and i believe their will be more areas for her to shine in the future
Clara was my first 5* and carried me through the story, SU, and still carries me through PF and MoC. Clara, Yukong, Tingyun, HuoHuo on one side, Ratio, Topaz, Ruan Mei (Robin once i get her, likely moving Ruan Mei in place of Yukong), and Aventurine for the other. Combining the two teams (Ratio, Topaz, Clara, Aventurine) is a really fun, effective, and versatile team i use for story and SU stuff now
I have her at E2S1, pairing her with Huohuo - Tingyun - Sparkle (so basically, high Ult uptime Clara). Will definitely bring her to next MoC because she managed to finish current MoC12 (Aventurine bossfight) really well.
I have her but don't really use her often tbh, just for when I don't pick the physical Trailblazer, Sushang or whoever else I may have. (Which isn't many in terms of that typing specifically that I do have.)
I can confirm Clara was my first 5 star and I just managed to get her light cone recently she’s still extremely good even though I have the other meta 5 star characters.
I overlooked Star Rail at first because I dismissed it as just another anime game. My friend showed me Svarog, and I was such a fan of his design that I agreed to play, but only if I would have Clara off rip. I bought my account for $9, which had just cleared the tutorial and rolled Clara on the beginner banner. I have since played over 1000 hours, and Clara remains one of my strongest units. Mine is E3S3 (by sheer chance, never tried to pull for her specifically or anything) and is the only unit I have that can sometimes outperform my E2S1 Acheron. No matter how crazy the new DPS units are, Clara continues to have a niche, and she really kills it.
Clara with a team of Tingyun, Topaz, and Lynx carried me for the longest time as someone who had skipped Jingliu the first time she released. I don't use her much now but she was amazing in MoC, PF, and GnG Conundrum 12.
i have E1 S1 Clara I just don’t really know how to use her 😭 I use DoT comps and Acheron usually and idk if I’m doing something wrong bc it feels like Clara just doesn’t do enough dmg
I am a Clara main and I discovered that breaking enemies before they can attack her kinda makes her dps drop. She is a slow defensive bruiser and so all of her allies need to buff her asap before the enemy attacks. Huohuo and Tingyun are her stapel buffers in my team because of their speed and they abillity to generate energy fast for Clara. However, she is missing atm is a niche support character that is just a brute FuA dmg booster, someone that only focuses of boosting FuA dmg or enhancing the buffs she already has. Or a crazy character that give Clara a taunt buff (not an agrro increase), more like the abillity "Misdirection" from the WoW hunter class but like forcing a taunt on all enemies and redirect that all to attack Clara. Or both... As far as I am concerned, as the game starts to progress more and more. I think that Clara will be reaching E6 with time and once she reaches that stage she will make a comeback. But untill now, she is missing a niche character that boosts FuA dmg. I do think however, that as of right now, if you wanna input another support character that it had to be a character that doesn't break weaknesses easy.
Robin probably fits that bill, actually. She gives attack buffs and an additional crit on top of Clara's own damage that doesn't reduce toughness, like how Benediction gives an additional hit.
@@RyougiVector the only problem is that Robin needs to be slower than clara in order to do her ult. Clara's base speed is at 94 and I have no idea how fast Robin is at base stat
Sparkles is crazy with her too. She lets u spam skill for more energy for more dmg and ult uptime . She boosts damage even for the follow up as it lasts until claras next turn. Sparkles also is commonly ran with atk boots dps because she was her dps slow. Clara being slow is no problem
Clara was my 1st standard 5 star, and my first standard 5 star LC was her sig She carried me all the way up to Acherons banner, and while she wasn't high up for the 60>70 promotion, I'll likely build her up soon. I used her in 2nd half of current MoC with HuoHuo, Tingyun, and Sparkle. High ult uptime. She was my first 5 star and I plan on rebuilding her relics when new set comes out.
Quick tip from someone who uses Clara more than any other character, if you need to have a preservation or second destruction on the team, place them next to Clara, with them in the 4th slot and Clara in 3rd, or 1st slot, with Clara in second. This allows you to abuse both character's high taunt values to draw attacks away from the more fragile supports, focus more attacks to Clara and increase the rate of Clara's follow ups, reducing the luck factor in her kit even further, with or without a taunt increase character. Additionally, Robin does work with Clara as a hypercarry, but requires you to be very intentional with the timing of your ultimates, as popping Clara's ultimate, then killing everything with her skill or teammates, massively reduces her output.
one thing added for the sparkle release is that people really focused on sp hungry char like qq and dan il, than fua tbh even then OUR GENERAL and the god send ratio got the spot light
As a clara main who aims to have a hyper clara team as my main team (right now my clara is e3 s3, with robin (building her still), sparkle, and adventurine (all 3 no main lightcones) ) unless i somehow get like e2 ratio i wont ever swap clara out
I got Clara when I first started playing through the beginner pulls. She carried me so hard through the whole game until I got Argenti, Acheron, etc, but even then I have her built for when she comes in handy
Honestly I'll never forget how hard Clara carried me through the mid game. I've since gained multiple Eidelons for her, and she still finds her way into team comps at times. (Despite mostly using the nihility trio). I'm actually pulling for Topaz & Numby since I have well invested Himeko & Herta, and well Clara. Hoping the IPC can support a character that helped me loads in the past.
I close to never use clara anymore but she will always be my goat. Im a week 1 player and got my first moc 10 3 star clear in the first half of 1.3 thanks to clara that desided to show up the same version. I didn't get luocha or blade, and hadn't got Gepard or Baliu so my account had the damage to clear moc, the problem was that I had to balance Fire TB, March, Nat (and welt) in two teams. But Clara kinda solved that problem as her bulk and march taunt had a good synergy that managed to keep the rest of the team alive after som attempts. Anyway my love goes to Clara, the goat
You just forgot to mention Sparkle. Sparkle was a massive improvement from clara over Bronya because sparkle's buff actually lasts long enough for clara's follow-ups to benefit from it, unlike bronya's
As much as I like Clara’s gameplay, it is a bit counterproductive in a sense where you want her opponents to attack her which you have to rely on RNG which is inconsistent, another thing is breaking weakness is not good for her either cause it delays enemy actions and you want to them to attack as much as possible so she can counterattack and any CC effects would just hinder her dps output (and that goes for both sides)
For my 300 pull selection pick, I picked getting E3 Clara instead of finally getting a Bronya. Clara is love. Clara is life. We must stand with Svarog and protecc Clara at all costs.
ive mained her since i started she is super good i wish she got more love once we get more characters and different relic sets im sure she will be better although there has been good characters ive been playing robin clara tingyun and lynx its a fun team also sparkle is pretty good too e1 is a game changer aswell
Been a clara main since i got her as my first 5 star. She is currently E2 soon to be E3. I am aiming for E6. She is the one character I can always rely on. I have a free spot on my team ? Clara. I need to beat sim universe ? Clara. I need high physical damage ? Sishang Clara comp. She is also so comfy because of how hard she is to kill. I can head into new content without fear thanks to her knowing that she will carry me. Also people sleep 9n the cleanse trace it comes in clutch so often. She can also solo a lot of content with her LC.
I also think Clara is one of the better picks you can get from the standart banner. I want to say almost everyone on there is usable but clara stands out as being stil relevant compared to most. Only bronya and himeko have some relevance aside from her. Bailu and gepard only if you lack a better sustainer but I still reccomend natasha or lynx over bailu because of cleanse.
For the record, 4pc Boxer is still bis for Clara. Duke doesn't really synergize great with her, although the 2pc effect is nice and can be paired with 2pc Boxer
My first ever 5 star, and still my main to this day. She set me on a path of FuA team. But dem, I still don't have Topaz. Unlucky. Hopefully I can get enough jade again for her before the banner end. The gambler ate all my jade previously.
well once i get topaz im gonna get build the team, aventurine, topaz, Clara, and robin, i think this would work quite well epically if she gets energy orb and rope and either follow up or physical set (not sure which one i would get for her)
Since the day i first saw her in game my immediate thought was "Space Illya!" I used my 300 pull to get her and have being using a fua team and nihility team since the game came out. She's so fun to use
My first 5*, first E1 and first 5* LC, the game basically told me that Clara is my main and now I eat well. I tried many teams against MoC 12 Adventurine, turns out Clara could have done the job in the first place. She's also great for Pure Fiction. Once I counted Clara doing 16 actions in a single Pure Fiction cycle with Bronya and Sparkle, I don't even know what's going to happen when I add Robin to the team.

Since Standard banner decided to give me not one but TWO Claras AND her LC I use her a lot for endgame content. I specifically pulled Topaz and Robin for her.
As someone who has C3 Clara, she does carry me through Pure Fiction alot. Especially those with FUA buffs. I like how she isn't completely "washed" Like some characters
Dude, I use her all the time. In fact, I've been slowly building the pieces of a follow-up attack team just for her, including Topaz and Numby, Adventurine, Himeko, Dr. Ratio, etc... When it works just right, Svaro- I mean Clara slaps and slaps hard. One of the most fun teams in the game.
Clara is very fun to play around and she even got me 3 stars until MOC 11, but MOC 12 is a bit hard, expecially when the team that i had for her was March and Lynx, it would probably be different if i had Topaz or Robin though
Honestly she just...works for me somehow, maybe cause I'm not insane enough to try for speed rolls on everything so my teams often rely on follow-ups or counters (Blade or Kafka/Black Swan) so someone like Clara becomes a god. Thanks to Tingyun, Houhou Topaz, her counters are almost always enhanced and hit like a TRUCK. I love her.
I still use Clara as the tank stand in (but built damage). If she started the fight with ult charged, she and svarog very competently kept heat off the two squishies while having self cleanse and just enough hp to actually tank, which meant Bailu also had a permanent spot in the team. That all changed when the Acheron nation attacked. But that actually just meant I had two team frames I can switch between whenever one got stale. So, she's still good in my books.
As someone who just got Clara e2, I'm coping. I'm not sure if i want to build her- I main Argenti and plan on also maining Boothill. I don't need more physical damage Argenti enjoyer? Me too, you're so based for that
Imagine if Hoy will make a support character who "attacks" and ally instead? Like damages them a little and gives huge buffs? And it procs Clara's counter to another random target! It could be ao cool!
I feel like this is overstating how much Clara needs to tank damage herself with the way her ULT works she really only needs a good battery like Tingyun and then shes procing her way better counter and generating most of the energy for her next ULT by herself via the counters and her own turns. Is it optimal that she takes as much damage as she can by herself? Yeah. But can she still spit out tons of counter damage taking only 1/4th of it at minimum? Also yeah. I honestly think her drop off is mostly due to the fact that she's a standard banner/5050 drop. The longer the game goes on the harder it's gonna be to actually get her reliably.
One thing I remember when Topaz released is that, even if they have synergy, it was hard to find enemies with both of those weaknesses, which most of the time would mean that it was not worth to bring the two together I don't know if that's still the case, but I do remember people saying that at the time
Clara is my main so I rlly appreciate this! She’s a very consistent damage dealer with the right setup and that’s why I like her- the best way to use her requires playing the game a lot differently and it’s really fun and unique :)
i have spent jades on the standard banner to get clara guaranteed at 300 pulls, 30k jades to be exact, i regret nothing, she is simply amazing, only problems i can see with her is that putting another destruction character in the team messes with clara because the other character will pull enemy aggro to them. clara is a amazing character, people dont consider her meta cuz meta players cant look at anything but big numbers. reject the meta, clear simulated universe with solo clara.
As a clara/svarog stan (fbi its a safe search) i've been using her since i got her and i only bench her in events since they're too specific...if you don't have sustain...just put Clara at yhe end of the team and put lynx next to her and boom...you have a huohuo//aventurine on your team... And the fact that you don't need to give her speed or buff her directly proves her worth. . And her E6 is one of the best E6's in the game... imagine clara counter having a an ult like state almost the whole fight... besides her havung the most acceptable eidolons in the game...
AFAIC, she had her moment in the spotlight during 2.0's Pure Fiction (An Expression Of Eloquence). I ran it as soon as I got Sparkle in 2.1, and Clara just completely obliterated it!
Many patches and effects were designed to benefit Clara the least way possible, since she had the potential to clear the whole game without needing to summon ever.
She was my 5*, and was the only 5* I wanted when I first started. I just found Svarog whacking enemies whenever they attack a little girl really funny. I love Clara so much.
You seriously made a clara video and didn't mention the loucha combo... You sir disappoint me (you can clear almost any content just having those 2 together)
The thing is that Clara had a super inconsistent performance basically fills a certain niche, but she’s the ONLY character in that niche. No one else remotely comes close. She also has a super good skill, an AoE. To my knowledge she’s the only Destruction type character to have that at the moment. Her stat goals are mostly pretty easy. She can use at least two other people’s signature light cones in addition to her own. Relics are the main problem, her main stats tend to be easy but her substats are hell to get. Recent relics are decent though, and according to leaks there’s going to be a really good planar set that’s made for fua. Basically, things designed to buff other party members indirectly makes her better. And unless Hoyo gets the idea to make another counter-type character, she can’t be budged. Which is probably exactly how she likes it.
@@TMgomi it makes it so you don’t *need* Tinygun for her energy as much, and you don’t have to worry about agro chance since she’ll still counter half the time allies are attacked and of course still always when she is. The extra charge on ult helps with energy too, keeping her in the state longer. It’s just huge. I’m super grateful it dropped in my lap.
One of my dream comps is Clara, March 7th, Aventurine and Robin, this sounds like a funny I don't attack at all comp. Will it be good? maybe not. Will it be funny? most definitely
What I like about clara is that she and welt at the moment are the only standard 5 stars (except maybe himeko) that havent been powercrept yet by limited 5 stars because they have their own niche. They may not be the most powerful or meta relevant characters but they still get the job done when used right which makes them feel a lot better compared to characters like bailu and yanqing who sadly dont have a relevant spot anywehere in the current game
Using her at Pure Fiction at two accounts, I'm glad that they have Lynx to help with giving Clara taunt levels and taking down the lower level pure Fiction monsters.

@@andry6164 not really, a Tingyun Huohuo core can give Clara a pretty high uptime on her ult with the last slot being whatever harmony is left

Welt would work very well in PVP. He shines against opponents by slowing them down

As an avid Clara main myself, i have enjoyed her since i lost Seele's first banner. She's carried my sorry ass through numerous MoCs and PFs.
Same. I lost the seele banner to clara, and it was the greatest L I've ever taken. But unfortunately, I've never gotten clara since 😔
I only got her in 2.0 and since I skipped Argenti, I was happy I didn't have to play MC anymore 😅

I main Clara since release, it always frustrated me how despite the fact Clara is averagely recognized as good (A-tier), most of the people didn't even concider her as an option. Upon Ratio release, Clara almost completely disappeared out of radar. I know that Clara is amazing, even op when put in perfect conditions

I think it's her eidolons, they're absolute garbage. At e0s0 Clara mops the floor with Ratio. At e0s1 Ratio catches up(only for single target)
Would be neat if we had an enemy barrage mini game event where the enemies are ridiculously fast or take a lot of actions. Characters like Clara, blade and aventurine would be the best in that game mode
that's Gold and Gears, most of the bosses are stupidly fast and Clara on Elation claps their cheeks

I've been using a Clara + Aventurine team, having her take hits and throw damage back out, but staying alive due to Aventurine's meaty shields. Having Himeko on the team is nice as well to do some good follow-up damage once Clara breaks shields
i built a full counter team
clara - followup counter
march 7th - increase aggro, followup counter
aventurine - Full team sustain, increase crit dmg taken by enemy, followup counter
topaz - Increase follow up attack taken by enemy, numby counter
so every cycle is like this
>enemy aoe attack
>clara counter
>march 7th counter
>aventurine counter
>numby counter
M7 is legit useless and has insane anti synergy, especially with adventure
@@artemsheen8064 March is not useless. She has incredible synergy with Clara, and her use of follow up attacks puts her in a good spot to be used with Aventurine, because his follow up builds off of allies doing follow up attacks.
@@artemsheen8064doesn't march actually have very good synergy with aventurine?? He gives all allies a shield and march fua's when a shield is hit. And aventurine has stacks increasing with attacks on shield + fuas, so it makes march always fua, up to 3 times per turn (at e4) and in best case scenarios (everyone AOE gets hit) that means in one enemy attack, he would gain 7+ stacks at once: 3 stacks for the allies hit, 2 stacks for aventurine getting hit, 1 stack from Clara's fua, 1 stack from march's fua, numby fua from all the fuas. And it seems like a very useable team, of course at the disadvantages of march and Clara, as shown in this video.

Clara main since launch and still cleaning MOC and PF with her as the hypercarry of one of my teams.
Definitely hurts how almost every new char/mechanics is counter intuitive(or partially) to her kit but ig I find fun in making her work no matter what. Plus her playstyle is just really fun
Clara has transitioned really well to the modern meta with Pure Fiction and its FUA buffs as well as a plethora of enemies. Even if enemies are defeated or cced, new enemies are constantly being spawned in which also means a constant flow of attackers for Clara to counter. Physical is also a common weakness in at least one half of PF4. Clara and Himeko make PF a breeze, and if you have a built Clara you should be capable of enjoying an easy PF whenever follow up buffs are in rotation.
I'm a devoted E3S1 Clara loyalist, despite her only being my 3rd standard 5 star I received. I have so much fun with her that I pulled for all the follow-up characters you can think of just to make her even more powerful. By extension this makes me a follow-up main too, so I dabble in other similar teams but they pretty much always include her.
One day, my Clara will slay countless godlike beings and she won't even lift a finger to do it! All hail the Blood Rabbit!
Personally ive found she works quite well with Aven (depending on the enemies)
I place them next to each other, and as long as the enemies have a blast attack of sorts, they just absolutely demolish things
From the looks of it tho quite a few enemies have gotten aoe/blast/bounce attacks now, which is pretty nice
She makes for a decent sub dps, and i believe their will be more areas for her to shine in the future
Clara was my first 5* and carried me through the story, SU, and still carries me through PF and MoC. Clara, Yukong, Tingyun, HuoHuo on one side, Ratio, Topaz, Ruan Mei (Robin once i get her, likely moving Ruan Mei in place of Yukong), and Aventurine for the other. Combining the two teams (Ratio, Topaz, Clara, Aventurine) is a really fun, effective, and versatile team i use for story and SU stuff now
yukong is insanely good with clara, and ruan mei has active anti synergy with clara. i wouldnt replace yukong in a clara team
I have her at E2S1, pairing her with Huohuo - Tingyun - Sparkle (so basically, high Ult uptime Clara).
Will definitely bring her to next MoC because she managed to finish current MoC12 (Aventurine bossfight) really well.

I have her but don't really use her often tbh, just for when I don't pick the physical Trailblazer, Sushang or whoever else I may have. (Which isn't many in terms of that typing specifically that I do have.)
I can confirm Clara was my first 5 star and I just managed to get her light cone recently she’s still extremely good even though I have the other meta 5 star characters.
I overlooked Star Rail at first because I dismissed it as just another anime game. My friend showed me Svarog, and I was such a fan of his design that I agreed to play, but only if I would have Clara off rip. I bought my account for $9, which had just cleared the tutorial and rolled Clara on the beginner banner.
I have since played over 1000 hours, and Clara remains one of my strongest units. Mine is E3S3 (by sheer chance, never tried to pull for her specifically or anything) and is the only unit I have that can sometimes outperform my E2S1 Acheron. No matter how crazy the new DPS units are, Clara continues to have a niche, and she really kills it.

Clara with a team of Tingyun, Topaz, and Lynx carried me for the longest time as someone who had skipped Jingliu the first time she released. I don't use her much now but she was amazing in MoC, PF, and GnG Conundrum 12.
i have E1 S1 Clara I just don’t really know how to use her 😭 I use DoT comps and Acheron usually and idk if I’m doing something wrong bc it feels like Clara just doesn’t do enough dmg
I am a Clara main and I discovered that breaking enemies before they can attack her kinda makes her dps drop. She is a slow defensive bruiser and so all of her allies need to buff her asap before the enemy attacks. Huohuo and Tingyun are her stapel buffers in my team because of their speed and they abillity to generate energy fast for Clara.
However, she is missing atm is a niche support character that is just a brute FuA dmg booster, someone that only focuses of boosting FuA dmg or enhancing the buffs she already has. Or a crazy character that give Clara a taunt buff (not an agrro increase), more like the abillity "Misdirection" from the WoW hunter class but like forcing a taunt on all enemies and redirect that all to attack Clara. Or both...
As far as I am concerned, as the game starts to progress more and more. I think that Clara will be reaching E6 with time and once she reaches that stage she will make a comeback.
But untill now, she is missing a niche character that boosts FuA dmg. I do think however, that as of right now, if you wanna input another support character that it had to be a character that doesn't break weaknesses easy.
Robin probably fits that bill, actually. She gives attack buffs and an additional crit on top of Clara's own damage that doesn't reduce toughness, like how Benediction gives an additional hit.

Sparkles is crazy with her too. She lets u spam skill for more energy for more dmg and ult uptime . She boosts damage even for the follow up as it lasts until claras next turn. Sparkles also is commonly ran with atk boots dps because she was her dps slow. Clara being slow is no problem

I used her in 2nd half of current MoC with HuoHuo, Tingyun, and Sparkle. High ult uptime.
She was my first 5 star and I plan on rebuilding her relics when new set comes out.
Quick tip from someone who uses Clara more than any other character, if you need to have a preservation or second destruction on the team, place them next to Clara, with them in the 4th slot and Clara in 3rd, or 1st slot, with Clara in second. This allows you to abuse both character's high taunt values to draw attacks away from the more fragile supports, focus more attacks to Clara and increase the rate of Clara's follow ups, reducing the luck factor in her kit even further, with or without a taunt increase character.
Additionally, Robin does work with Clara as a hypercarry, but requires you to be very intentional with the timing of your ultimates, as popping Clara's ultimate, then killing everything with her skill or teammates, massively reduces her output.
one thing added for the sparkle release is that people really focused on sp hungry char like qq and dan il, than fua tbh even then OUR GENERAL and the god send ratio got the spot light

As a clara main who aims to have a hyper clara team as my main team (right now my clara is e3 s3, with robin (building her still), sparkle, and adventurine (all 3 no main lightcones) ) unless i somehow get like e2 ratio i wont ever swap clara out

I got Clara when I first started playing through the beginner pulls. She carried me so hard through the whole game until I got Argenti, Acheron, etc, but even then I have her built for when she comes in handy
Honestly I'll never forget how hard Clara carried me through the mid game. I've since gained multiple Eidelons for her, and she still finds her way into team comps at times. (Despite mostly using the nihility trio). I'm actually pulling for Topaz & Numby since I have well invested Himeko & Herta, and well Clara. Hoping the IPC can support a character that helped me loads in the past.
I close to never use clara anymore but she will always be my goat. Im a week 1 player and got my first moc 10 3 star clear in the first half of 1.3 thanks to clara that desided to show up the same version. I didn't get luocha or blade, and hadn't got Gepard or Baliu so my account had the damage to clear moc, the problem was that I had to balance Fire TB, March, Nat (and welt) in two teams. But Clara kinda solved that problem as her bulk and march taunt had a good synergy that managed to keep the rest of the team alive after som attempts.

I truly love Running Clara she was one of my first 5*s and now with Aventurine and Robin I finally feel comfortable using her.
You just forgot to mention Sparkle. Sparkle was a massive improvement from clara over Bronya because sparkle's buff actually lasts long enough for clara's follow-ups to benefit from it, unlike bronya's

As much as I like Clara’s gameplay, it is a bit counterproductive in a sense where you want her opponents to attack her which you have to rely on RNG which is inconsistent, another thing is breaking weakness is not good for her either cause it delays enemy actions and you want to them to attack as much as possible so she can counterattack and any CC effects would just hinder her dps output (and that goes for both sides)
Still make good use of her in current moc with jingliu,bronya, and Huo huo. She is great in current pf, where you can use follow-up buff.
For my 300 pull selection pick, I picked getting E3 Clara instead of finally getting a Bronya. Clara is love. Clara is life. We must stand with Svarog and protecc Clara at all costs.
ive mained her since i started she is super good i wish she got more love once we get more characters and different relic sets im sure she will be better although there has been good characters ive been playing robin clara tingyun and lynx its a fun team also sparkle is pretty good too e1 is a game changer aswell
Been a clara main since i got her as my first 5 star. She is currently E2 soon to be E3. I am aiming for E6. She is the one character I can always rely on. I have a free spot on my team ? Clara. I need to beat sim universe ? Clara. I need high physical damage ? Sishang Clara comp. She is also so comfy because of how hard she is to kill. I can head into new content without fear thanks to her knowing that she will carry me. Also people sleep 9n the cleanse trace it comes in clutch so often. She can also solo a lot of content with her LC.
I also think Clara is one of the better picks you can get from the standart banner. I want to say almost everyone on there is usable but clara stands out as being stil relevant compared to most. Only bronya and himeko have some relevance aside from her. Bailu and gepard only if you lack a better sustainer but I still reccomend natasha or lynx over bailu because of cleanse.
For the record, 4pc Boxer is still bis for Clara. Duke doesn't really synergize great with her, although the 2pc effect is nice and can be paired with 2pc Boxer

Since the day i first saw her in game my immediate thought was "Space Illya!" I used my 300 pull to get her and have being using a fua team and nihility team since the game came out. She's so fun to use

My first 5*, first E1 and first 5* LC, the game basically told me that Clara is my main and now I eat well. I tried many teams against MoC 12 Adventurine, turns out Clara could have done the job in the first place. She's also great for Pure Fiction.
Once I counted Clara doing 16 actions in a single Pure Fiction cycle with Bronya and Sparkle, I don't even know what's going to happen when I add Robin to the team.

Since Standard banner decided to give me not one but TWO Claras AND her LC I use her a lot for endgame content. I specifically pulled Topaz and Robin for her.
I'm currently doing a Boothill, Natasha, Clara, and Hanya setup. All physical. Use Clara as tank/sub-DPS and have Boothill weaken them.

Dude, I use her all the time. In fact, I've been slowly building the pieces of a follow-up attack team just for her, including Topaz and Numby, Adventurine, Himeko, Dr. Ratio, etc... When it works just right, Svaro- I mean Clara slaps and slaps hard. One of the most fun teams in the game.
Clara is very fun to play around and she even got me 3 stars until MOC 11, but MOC 12 is a bit hard, expecially when the team that i had for her was March and Lynx, it would probably be different if i had Topaz or Robin though
Honestly she just...works for me somehow, maybe cause I'm not insane enough to try for speed rolls on everything so my teams often rely on follow-ups or counters (Blade or Kafka/Black Swan) so someone like Clara becomes a god. Thanks to Tingyun, Houhou Topaz, her counters are almost always enhanced and hit like a TRUCK. I love her.
I still use Clara as the tank stand in (but built damage). If she started the fight with ult charged, she and svarog very competently kept heat off the two squishies while having self cleanse and just enough hp to actually tank, which meant Bailu also had a permanent spot in the team. That all changed when the Acheron nation attacked.
But that actually just meant I had two team frames I can switch between whenever one got stale. So, she's still good in my books.
She's my favorite standard banner character, and she's going to pop off even harder as i just got Robin!
As someone who just got Clara e2, I'm coping. I'm not sure if i want to build her- I main Argenti and plan on also maining Boothill. I don't need more physical damage

I feel like this is overstating how much Clara needs to tank damage herself with the way her ULT works she really only needs a good battery like Tingyun and then shes procing her way better counter and generating most of the energy for her next ULT by herself via the counters and her own turns. Is it optimal that she takes as much damage as she can by herself? Yeah. But can she still spit out tons of counter damage taking only 1/4th of it at minimum? Also yeah.
I honestly think her drop off is mostly due to the fact that she's a standard banner/5050 drop. The longer the game goes on the harder it's gonna be to actually get her reliably.
I had this girl E1 during Seele's 1st banner. Cause she was my first 5, and I lost the 50/50. Girl is a unit, and she needs to be appreciated more.
One thing I remember when Topaz released is that, even if they have synergy, it was hard to find enemies with both of those weaknesses, which most of the time would mean that it was not worth to bring the two together
I don't know if that's still the case, but I do remember people saying that at the time
Using Clara off-element is not even a big deal. I use this combination on fire-weak stages and it works like a charm.
With Robin now Clara is soooo strong
Clara is my main so I rlly appreciate this! She’s a very consistent damage dealer with the right setup and that’s why I like her- the best way to use her requires playing the game a lot differently and it’s really fun and unique :)
i have spent jades on the standard banner to get clara guaranteed at 300 pulls, 30k jades to be exact, i regret nothing, she is simply amazing, only problems i can see with her is that putting another destruction character in the team messes with clara because the other character will pull enemy aggro to them.
clara is a amazing character, people dont consider her meta cuz meta players cant look at anything but big numbers.

As a clara/svarog stan (fbi its a safe search) i've been using her since i got her and i only bench her in events since they're too specific...if you don't have sustain...just put Clara at yhe end of the team and put lynx next to her and boom...you have a huohuo//aventurine on your team...
And the fact that you don't need to give her speed or buff her directly proves her worth. .
And her E6 is one of the best E6's in the game... imagine clara counter having a an ult like state almost the whole fight... besides her havung the most acceptable eidolons in the game...
I still use Clara and now I have her E3 at this point she can really survive dangerous situations and cluches it
My clara is up there with my acheron in terms of dmg. I just built her somewhat decently and shes carried me through almost the entire game.
AFAIC, she had her moment in the spotlight during 2.0's Pure Fiction (An Expression Of Eloquence). I ran it as soon as I got Sparkle in 2.1, and Clara just completely obliterated it!

The thing is that Clara had a super inconsistent performance basically fills a certain niche, but she’s the ONLY character in that niche. No one else remotely comes close. She also has a super good skill, an AoE. To my knowledge she’s the only Destruction type character to have that at the moment.
Her stat goals are mostly pretty easy. She can use at least two other people’s signature light cones in addition to her own. Relics are the main problem, her main stats tend to be easy but her substats are hell to get. Recent relics are decent though, and according to leaks there’s going to be a really good planar set that’s made for fua.
Basically, things designed to buff other party members indirectly makes her better. And unless Hoyo gets the idea to make another counter-type character, she can’t be budged.
Which is probably exactly how she likes it.
Clara is one of my favorites. I got her E6 and it’s a huge game changer.

@@TMgomi it makes it so you don’t *need* Tinygun for her energy as much, and you don’t have to worry about agro chance since she’ll still counter half the time allies are attacked and of course still always when she is. The extra charge on ult helps with energy too, keeping her in the state longer. It’s just huge. I’m super grateful it dropped in my lap.
Clara, March, Sparkle, Lynx still carries me to this day. Spam missles, gain energy, beam enemies down.
If we do get a character that can speed up the enemy's action value, then I think Clara'll have more screentime

What I like about clara is that she and welt at the moment are the only standard 5 stars (except maybe himeko) that havent been powercrept yet by limited 5 stars because they have their own niche. They may not be the most powerful or meta relevant characters but they still get the job done when used right which makes them feel a lot better compared to characters like bailu and yanqing who sadly dont have a relevant spot anywehere in the current game
Using her at Pure Fiction at two accounts, I'm glad that they have Lynx to help with giving Clara taunt levels and taking down the lower level pure Fiction monsters.

Not I. I have a e3 Clara so shes been my phys dps since launch. Super good and her dmg is good. Mine is 3100 atk, 66 crit rate and 133 crit dmg.
