I LOVE that on May 31st so many content creators did videos & live streams update and predicting YoJoeJune. Like HOURS of work…. And then it seems like when everyone is done for the night… Hasbro says “Hold my 🍺” and leaks the list! 🤣🤣🤣.

The brand is doing stellar on all levels at the moment. Hasbro, don't screw it up.

I am not a fan of the Joes and Transformers being in the same universe, but I can’t deny these new Energon books have been fun. I can totally see an animated series working if it has a similar art style to the Duke miniseries. I think that might get kids into these brands more. However, I also want to see a Joe series similar to the tone of Resolute. That movie rocked on so many levels.
Sunbow definitely made Alpine a favorite for me - specifically The Funhouse. The original is such a cool design. Can't wait for the Classified fig. Hope he comes with a G.I. Joe Express card. Great Monthly ep!

I seriously hope Hasbro doesn’t screw us over with Alpine by giving us a classified version in shorts then a retro carded version from reused parts two years from now. I’m looking at you Beachhead. That will seriously hack me off.

Agree the brand is in a great moment, but Hasbro continues to screw customers as much as they can. 10 months to deliver a Firefly preorder, 8 months for the VAMP (assuming they don't get delayed again). Most preorders in EU take somewhere between 4-6 months. Not cool
I love how I can read just the joe books and not have to get the other comics like transformers to continue the story.
Larry Hama needs to write the Gi Joe movie if they want to get it right.
There are plenty of characters of the other series like resolute, Sigma 6, the movies version if they can get the likeness of the actors
It’s a rhetorical question, but did Skybound need to do a Kickstarter? The reason I ask is we’ve heard the same reaction after the HISS & Dragonfly HasLabs; and now the comic compendium; “this exceeded our expectations, maybe they’ll notice and take Joe seriously!” While it’s a great position to be in, it’s still frustrating, it seems that the big decision makers are the last to get on the bandwagon.
I was looking forward to this compendium when I heard just because I only have a handful of the issues, but I just want an in-print collection. I can’t afford this. If it were released in retail over 4 seasons (or even 2 years), I could swing it, but I can’t drop $300 on comics [I don’t do digital] now especially with a Haslab probably coming. Very sad. But hoping it might lead to paperback trades.
They are doing softcover versions. The first compendium has already been offered to stores. They are much cheaper at $64.99 and will be available in October.

🗑️ No lie. It looks like Christmas boots and shorts. And the guns add that extra Xmas flair! I rather have the valor modernized! It’s more of a modern wilderness climber look!
