About the movie having Vincent Price in just three scenes. From what I've heard, there were originally going to be more scenes with the Inventor, but actor who played him, the Late Vincent Price, was sick and frail at the time. Edward Scissorhands was one of his last three movies before passing away in 1993. Which makes the Inventor's death scene more heartbreaking, not the fact that Edward Scissorhands lost both his chance of having hands and the only person who he has to a father, but the actor playing him dying three years after this movie came out was also depressing

Reading the comments, I see that some people are missing what this is actually supposed to be. Don’t take all of the events/ Elements in the movie as some literal thing that happens throughout the story. In concept, I believe that it’s supposed to be more of a modern fairytale, that a grandma is telling to her granddaughter, that combined the story of her first love and loss with snow falling. Like there are some elements that are supposed to be mystical Which aren’t going to make logical sense, like Edward, being ageless and blanketing the town with snow every year. It’s all one big fairytale.

Stranger Things 4 is just like this movie if Chrissy didn’t die in the first episode. Kim (Will's mom - Winona Ryder) is Chrissy, Jim (Not Hopper) is Jason, and Edward is Eddie Munson (same names, long hair, and considered "freaks"). I also never realized there's a character in this movie named Joyce.

Jim's death is not supposed to be satisfying, it's supposed to be shocking. The town and Jim drove the pure-hearted Edward to murder, because he cared too much about Kim.
