ruclips.net/video/WfbpjdrpWP4/видео.html Hi everyone. In case that everyone is having audio issue, here's another video of how to hear your Audio into your recordings/stream. Hope this helps out
Hey goldy, I need your help. I can't seem to enable game audio. I got the vivitar capture card. I tried to do what you did, but it still won't enable Gane audio.
There are multiple applications you can use to record. Mainly, OBS Studio and XSplit Broadcaster is one of them. Streamlabs also made a version of their own with OBS, called Streamlabs OBS.
Thanks for showing this. I picked up one of these from walmart and it seems to capture 1080p @ 60fps with no problem, maybe yours can too? It says 1080@60 on the back of the box. Not bad for the price, excited to play around with it more. 😃
Haha yeah. Some may not know about it since you really need to see the end results, and that's by seeing the game itself going through the capture card. The Rainbow screen is just a start to let you know that the card is working properly, just need the game to be turned on to see it. Glad it helps out
Im using my macbook for obs and my gaming PC to game and sending the HDMI to go to the MacBook via capture card. the video comes through but the audio doesn't. but when I do it from my xbox it works fine. what could be wrong
If you're using your HDMI to card as a display to The obs on MacBook, you may have an option to output your audio settings to HDMI audio, and it'll go through the card, but you'll lose the ability to hear the game directly from your PC. Another idea is an audio splitter for the headphone jack , requires 2 aux cords, or 1 aux and Cable headphones. Put the splitter into the PC headphones jack, plug 1 aux cord to the splitter and the other end to the MacBook microphone jack, and the second cord in the splitter and the other end to an aux input speaker or aux input headphone,or cable headphone. Obs on MacBook should automatically pick up audio. If not, you can add the audio source I don't know if it'll help, I don't know anything about Mac lol
Check to make sure that your hdmi cable is connected and that your game is on. Showing the colored screen is a good thing to let you know that the capture card is working. Also try to adjust the settings of the capture card to a resolution, like say 720p and see if the game shows. I tried both XSplit Broadcaster, which is my mainly use of streaming and recording, and I did try OBS, is what you're seeing here since mostly alot of people uses this.
If you happen to have a HDMI Splitter, then yes. You would need 3 HDMI cords. 1 from the game to Input Splitter, and 2 from Output Splitter for the computer and TV. If you guys like, I can make another video to show the results of both Computer and TV showing the gameplay
u wanna press the home button or the microsoft logo button, and search up change system sound click on ur capture card thing and go to the listen tab and make sure it make sure the “listen to this device” check box is checked
Hey guys. If you're still having trouble with the sounds, check this last video of where I talk about checking to see if it installed correctly and that it's showing in the Device Management ruclips.net/user/livef-3VYY1Vo0Q?feature=share
Sry for the late reply. I the Audio Mixer, there should be an audio automatically added to it when you add the USB Video device in. If not, you should be able to add an audio source from the capture card and look for Digital Audio Interface (USB Digital Audio) which is the Vivitar Capture Card.
Ok, so the color screen shows, that's good. Now turn your game on and it should pull through the capture card. Make sure that the hdmi is hook to it. You can try this out by plugging the HDMI from your console to your capture card. If you have a splitter, plug your game into the input part and have another HDMI to plug from the output of the splitter into your capture card.
Hi. Make sure that's it's plug in your Computer USB. On your computer, Right-Click on the Starbutton, and click on Device Management. See if there's something like Unknown Device. If you happen to see this, right click on that and uninstall. Then try removing the device and plug it back in to make sure that it installs properly, it automatically installs. Then check back into your OBS and you should see the device in the list from the Video Capture part, namely USB Video. Unless that you have a different device with a similar look, like the HDMI Capture, it'll work the same way, but probably with a different device name on OBS. I can't tell since I only owned the Vivitar Capture Card. Is it the same device, and are you using OBS?
Huh. I wish I could really be more helpful to you to get it going. Only things I can come with to try to help with some solutions In OBS, try diffent device names in the list. It could be read differently. Don't worry, you won't mess up anything, it only displays the device. In OBS, if there is USB Video in the list, try changing the settings up by turning on or off the custom resolutions and other video output. Sometimes, it refreshes the output and would show. You'll see the color screen, letting you know that the device is working, if not already connected to the game. If using a splitter, make sure that the game HDMI is connected to the input of the splitter, while the output goes to the TV, Computer, or both. Check your HDMI cables and make sure that there's no shortages in them. Check inside the HDMI ports of the cables and ports to make sure there's no corrupted pins Male sure the USB port is working. If your computer is equipped with A Type-C port, use the Type-C to USB dongle and try using the capture card on that Making sure that the computer install the capture card successfully. In the Device Management, if there's an Unknown Device showing in the Device Management list, unplug to see if it dissappear, and if that was the case, the computer didn't install it correctly, and the device may be malfunctioned. Using USB, devices may look fine and some parts may be connected to the metal parts, but some other metal may been broken inside without noticing it, and cause the computer to see it as an unknown device. I had another one that sees it as a corrupted device Try restarting your computer, which starts every fresh again, and try to plug the device in. If it does shows the color screen in OBS without it connected from the game, then that's a good start, we know the card is working. The we just have to figure out why the game isn't going through. So with the computer explanation we can exclude the troubleshoot I tried to explain some possible solutions as best as I can.
Sorry for the late reply, but no, this isn't a live video. This was recorded to show you how to setup the Capture Card and how it works. I pinned a comment of the live video I did
Hi. Make sure your device is powered on and make sure your cable don't have a shortage. Test your cables by directly connecting from the game to the tv
