I get chills whenever I hear this song. It's so intense and about fighting the spiritual battles without letting it destroy you. I have loved her work for a long time and I honestly think this is one of the best songs from her rock/metal career. The lyrics, the music, the video. All of it feels powerful and honest. The guitarist is her husband and I also think this song featured his skill really well. God bless them. I love their music.

Flyleaf is back at least now for touring this year on festivals and stuff, they just played 3 shows in the last weekend and will rock some more in September, as off Lacey Sturm as solo artist, she already wrotte a whole record but has been putting out one single at a time, she has now 4 singles... The Decree, State Of Me, Awaken Love and Reconcile... her first solo album was amazing, it has some remisicent sound of Flyleaf not only bc of Lacey but also because Josh Sturm (Lacey's sturm and guitarist) was Flyleaf guitar tech and has written songs from Flyleaf in 2 records (Beautifull Bride, Chasm, Call you out) so in a way her as solo with her husband has a great rock mix in their sound. Not exactly as Flyleaf but hard rock still.... I'm hoping now that Flyleaf has been back with her, they can write some newer songs next year.

Amazing singer this woman is. I love this. In answer to your question about flyleaf they were amazing with her. I will send you some. She left flyleaf because of several reasons including a death of a good friend. She had gotten married and was also pregnant so combo of death and life made her jump away. Flyleaf replaced her with another singer who also was very talented but, there were issues with her not feeling like she had input to the band. I don't recall her name. I kind of quit them when lacy did. Plus at that time I was doing crazy stuff in far away places.
