  • Who doesn’t love walking through a beautiful field of dandelions, picking them one-by-one, and blowing the seeds into the wind? Even as an adult, I still can’t resist! I wanted to capture that in painting form.
    I was contacted by the art supply company “Hippie Crafter”, who sent me amazing supplies for my project. I chose their smooth textured black canvas, and rich, creamy acrylic paints. I can honestly say that I’ve never enjoyed using acrylics more. These are truly the best quality!! I was able to paint the finest detail of the dandelion seeds effortlessly.
    If you’d like to try my project, no problem. You can easily follow along with my step-by-step instruction. I’ve listed the art supplies below for your convenience. Be sure to like and subscribe. Enjoy!!

    Getting ready to attempt this tonight. I'm pretty sure I won't get the same beautiful and realistic result as yours, then again you're a great teacher. I was wondering if a fan brush can give similar soft results since I'm afraid of heavy lines. Glad I found your channel! Thanks for sharing your talent!

    27minutes to do a stalk, and then cover half of it up😒, nice finished result though😊

    • @TheArtChik
      @TheArtChik  2 года назад +1

      If you look at the finished piece, notice how you can see the stalk behind the seeds. You want to paint it first so that you have that 3-D layered effect. Layering is crucial when painting realistic art. 💗
