Well that's something I haven't seen before Bricks between the framing. I worked on late 1800s 1890s But they just have really wide planks on the outside. Finally got the permits.👍
Yup I wish that was the case with this one. It’s old old and in upstate NY. A bullet prof house for sure.
So good to see you back and looking so forward to watching progress videos on this as I for one always learn stuff!
Thank You Sir! :-)
Thanks, buddy. Yes, my winter project.
That is a half timbered frame. Those brick and timbers were outside wall. Usually the brick would be covered in white plaster. That's not post and beam. More like balloon framing or post framed. It was built in like Tudor style being half timbered.
Just happened to see this one when it posted. Thanks for the awesome content you keep pumping out 😊
Thank you. Plan on doing another on this next week showing even more.
Very insightful Dom. And I see you have your usual cup of Joe!
You bet lol
More videos would be welcome. A full gut of an old house lke that should have you occupied for quite a while. Does that have a basement or a crawlspace? Old house basements are really cool.
Yea big time. It’s my winter project. Oh yes a full basement that is super cool. Has a builtin water holding tank. Stay tuned
Cool. Thanks for the tips. I learned a bit
Always my pleasure
End of an era.
Sure is
Good to see you again Sir. Hope the cost of the plywood doesn't break you. God Bless.
