I feel like this guy puts his own spin on the rhythm. He slows stuff down increases tempo etc in different places to where the song sounds similar to what its supposed to emulate but makes it its own thing as well.
What I really like about your music is that it isn't just the same song with different instruments. You can feel how much thought went into it. Thank you.
Being a musician in feudal times was such a lucky gift. Kings would keep you around because there was literally no other source of music around and if you couldn't tell already, people love good music. No matter what race, sex, continent, or even time period. Ancient peoples could be swayed by the power of music. It's the language of God. It speaks to the infinite. Imagine walking into a castle or tavern and hearing this absolute banger. Timeless
Dear Sir Avicii, we miss you. Our hearts cry since your departure. We would have liked to keep you longer. But sometimes it is too difficult to be the legend of an entire generation.
Truly a timeless masterpiece written by Sir Tim Bergling from the house of Avicii, known for the best bards throughout time. Although it's been 804 years since his passing, I still reminisce about his absence every day as if it was yesterday. Translation for all the kids before the 90s, 1290s to be exact: Forsooth an everlasting masterpiece written by Sir Tim Bergling from the house of Avicii, known for the meetest bards throughout time. This one is especially well made much more than the previous ones. I also like Algal the Bard cus videos himself playing the pieces, adds a bit more personality I guess.
This one is my favourite. It doesn't sound like someone just downloaded the midi for the original song and changed the instruments. It sounds like it was completely recreated to sound like a medieval track. Excellent work.
Why do I feel so sad listening to this music. It has the vibe but also the loneliness like someone's on top of the cliff looking far away to his hometown reminisncing his chilhood past like he wanted to bring it back and those happy memories he had when he was young.
I don't know why, but the first 11 seconds REALLY resonate with my soul. It's just a soothing introspective start to the song that makes you think about life.
I don't usually like remixes, remakes, covers or reinterpretations of this song but you did so in a way that is very unique and you totally nailed it in a reimagined way. Thanks for your efforts.
The thing about Lord Cornelius is that he doesn’t just remix any popular songs, he only uses ones that somehow translate incredibly well into bard-core, as well as high quality sounds, the rhythm, the fact that the instruments don’t clash with the song at all and that’s amazing.
Splendid work. I'm quite sure Avicci is cheerfully smiling in the next life over this. Initially I thought I read the title as Wake Me Up Inside from Everessence, maybe that is something interesting to hear in a Medieval tune. Please continue your great work as these songs I do enjoy during the quiet afternoon in my living room. ;)
The war was over. Now you're in a tavern with your brothers who fought bravely. You're all dancing and laughing and at the same time commemorating the lost brothers who sacrificed their lives to give their citizens a peaceful future. Beers are flowing. Maidens are working hard. You can smell these warriors' tipsy breath. The whole place is full of light and a complete mess. It was wonderful.
Among all the extraordinary bardcore covers developed in this period, I feel Cornelius Link's ones sound the best. They are so well made, I can actually feel very medieval just listening to them and it's amazing the care put on the instruments... I really appreciate man.
the medieval remixes remade by this person are the only ones i listen to bc it feels so much more than just changing the instrumentation on a midi file, i really appreciate actual changes made in style and tone
@Vox Animalium yep, cause I think that when you start a whole new musical genere or at least something fitting for the time, as I know that bard core is a joke but a welcomed one; but anyway his work is original and many you tubers just piled up and copied (in a bad way) the songs or his content so yeah no wonders he is the best .. the other di mad just some waky covers.

Heavy is the head that bears a regal helm
Yet such weight I can not raise
Hoping that one day I shall rule the realm
Yet this weakness but stays
If only time could stop, no need to go on
Not fearing the coming age
Fate's but a plan to bring the weak from the strong
Royalty is but a wage
Awaken me when all has ended
