Bardcore blew up but somehow they all just never sounded as good as the OGs you've made. Thanks for uploading, I've missed your covers.
I feel like this guy puts his own spin on the rhythm. He slows stuff down increases tempo etc in different places to where the song sounds similar to what its supposed to emulate but makes it its own thing as well.

Being a musician in feudal times was such a lucky gift. Kings would keep you around because there was literally no other source of music around and if you couldn't tell already, people love good music. No matter what race, sex, continent, or even time period. Ancient peoples could be swayed by the power of music. It's the language of God. It speaks to the infinite. Imagine walking into a castle or tavern and hearing this absolute banger. Timeless

Initially I thought I read the title as Wake Me Up Inside from Everessence, maybe that is something interesting to hear in a Medieval tune. Normally you shouldn't translate the entire set of lyrics. I tried singing this in my head along to the melody and it was normally a few notes early or late. I know this is medieval and all but next time just translate the chorus or at least try to sync it with the actual melody.
While I appreciate this effort, it just doesn't match the rhythm.
Awesome work! I think the bass drum could be a little louder or more present, especially in the chorus and instrumental, otherwise I adore this!

You're all dancing and laughing and at the same time commemorating the lost brothers who sacrificed their lives to give their citizens a peaceful future. Beers are flowing. Maidens are working hard. You can smell these warriors' tipsy breath. The whole place is full of light and a complete mess. It was wonderful.

@Vox Animalium yep, cause I think that when you start a whole new musical genere or at least something fitting for the time, as I know that bard core is a joke but a welcomed one; but anyway his work is original and many you tubers just piled up and copied (in a bad way) the songs or his content so yeah no wonders he is the best .. the other di mad just some waky covers.
Actually he was not the first - people like Algal the Bard have been making stuff for years. Cornelius does seem to have (to a large extent) started the craze, though, and certainly he's very good at what he does.
