Far Cry 5 Arresting The Father Opening Scene - Игры
You know how powerful a cult leader is...when one of the cultists jumps on to the rotor blades of the chopper....
Sankar Kv for real tho
@@Qourie Had... He “Had” balls
thats why this is the best opening (IMO) you are shown the people you are facing, not just some selfish fuckos, they are serious, well until you actually play the game, they seem all pretty braindead
Can't hide in heaven or the sky
God will bring them down
One of the best intros I’ve seen in a game. Right from the get-go Joseph Seed is established to have incredible control over the cultists and to be a really spooky character.
They truly did a good job at making you feel alone in the beginning
I remember playing this back in 2018 and this scene still gives me goosebumps. This Farcry in my opinion is the best in the franchise.
No matter how many times I start a new game this opening has me on the edge of my seat... praise be to the father.
The way Joseph sings while all that madness is happening around him geez
Exactly
the quiet jingle of bells at 6:50 always sends shivers
You know the song pls tell me if you know plss
Suga Baby it doesnt have a name it's just some music box
@@george7184 Ahh am sad😭
@@bakugousgirlfriend2245 Check the Far Cry 5 score
The song is a jingle version of We Will Rise Again from the soundtrack of the game. Its one of the cult band songs from the radios.
As much as I dislike the lack of fully realized potential for the themes this game allegedly wanted to tackle, I absolutely adore the whole prologue, especially the whole church scene. I can feel so much of that tension
7:08 let me just say this is a really cool scene
Reminds me of a painting of Christ with his followers behind him pretty dope tbh
I just this second realise the significance of “White horse” at 6:50, white is Joseph’s symbol since each Seed family member represent the four horsemen of the apocalypse (Faith is Death = pale green cause of the Bliss, Jacob is War = red for blood, but I can’t remember which ones Joseph and John are) and so Joseph’s horse is the white one since that’s his representative colour, but the Sheriff’s name is Earl Whitehorse (which can’t have been coincidence lmao) and Joseph looks at the Sheriff when he says “Behold a white horse” and then to us as the deputy, “and Hell followed with him”.
Does this mean Joseph prophecised us being the one to bring down Eden’s Gate? 🤔 He must be aware then that we’re “Hell” or at least the bringer of doom for him and his followers O.O
The four beasts are actually the marshall, the sheriff and the two deputies. When he says "one of the four beasts said "come and see", the marshall asks him to "step forward". As he says "and I saw a white horse", he turns to look at sheriff Whitehorse (literally his name). And finally, he looks at the deputy and says "and Hell followed with him", the deputy being the one who will ultimately finish the cult and bring about the Apocalypse as they understand it. I recognized the quote from the Bible inmediately, so I loved that dramatic pause as Joseph turns around to you and extends his arms, knowing that he was going to deliver that line.
Amazing intro!
Faith- Pale/green
Jacob- Red
John- Black
Joseph- White
@@themusicmaster1077 plus Joseph is the horseman of conquest/light blue
Jacob seed is war/red
Faith is death/pale green
John is famine/black
Joseph is conquest/light blue
And John is famine/black
Don't you hate it when a guy just jumps into the rotter blades of you helicopter
You know it’s wild when dispatch probably no where near the father then decides she won’t call anyone because of what he said to her. It pisses me off because a lot of things could have been changed like the National Guard rocking up
It would have been wild to see Federal reinforcements arrive. Like atleast the FBI, National Guard or anything like that and furthermore supporting the enforcement of the Warrant and rescue.
It always bugged me that the dispatch just accepted that (even though she was a traitor) and no one else seemed to care or even ask Questions to what happens. I mean, atleast somebody should have noticed multiple Officers going missing when they are trying to arrest a known hardcore cult leader, you cannot tell me everybody is too dumb to see the connection there
@@Minyeti18 I agree it bugs me too how not a single state trooper or anyone really noticed a whole valley of people just disappear and why did the marshals not notice an agent missing after they sent him to a place in the middle of nowhere Montana
@@user-df7tv2lv8i Exactly. It could have been amazingly interesting to explore the whole Story further when there would be some kind of federal Intervention or search, like e.g. a second Helicopter approaching and you are able to warn them or ask them for reinforcements. 3 Police Officer and 1 Federal Agent missing and no one gives a damn about that. I know its just a story, but I feel there could have been much more around the whole federal warrant story, but instead they had lazy writing and nobody cared at all. There could have been so many possibilities to include it and even the endings could have been shaped differently. Like when you are trying to leave the town when you chose to walk way there is a convoy of the national guard approaching or some rescue team send. I am really glad I now know I am not the only one thinking like this
Seeing as world war 3 was about to go down, maybe the government had something else going on. Besides, if you look at historical instances of similar things, such as the West Virginia Coal Wars, it took a few months even for the feds to get involved.
@Absins almost like that DJ who recommended skydiving to Jason Brody and his friends/family
Oh... Conor Mcgregor getting arrested again
More like Seth Rollins getting arrested
@@fezzy5591 more like dappy
Broo the intro is Intense as fuck, all I did is sign of the Cross and I just went with my decision.
6:44 this part always gives me goosebumps
i know that the far cry games are getting repetitive these days, but i hadnt played a far cry game in some time when i played this game and i have to say, i enjoyed it a lot.
Joseph Seed is primarily based on the real-life cult leader David Koresh, and his Project at Eden's Gate cult is based on the Branch Davidians from Waco, Texas.
Also Jim Jones from Jonestown
@@FrFrijole Not exactly. Sullivan Knoth, A.K.A. "Papa Knoth." The so-called "Modern Ezekiel" and cult leader of Temple Gate from the horror game Outlast 2 is primarily based on Jim Jones.
@@davidcase8635 Joseph Seed’s appearance is a cross between David Koreah and Jim Jones. A lot of aspects of Eden’s Gate are similar to Jonestown, like how they preach equality and living in a remote place to escape the government who’s trying to destroy everything they built
@@FrFrijole Yes. But if you look up Sullivan Knoth and his "New Ezekiel" cult and Temple Gate from Outlast 2, you'll also see similar traits of Jim Jones and Jonestown in "Papa Knoth" and Temple Gate.
This game oozes Waco vibes
This game is amazing
I don't know if everything Joseph says comes straight from the Bible, but the Whitehorse thing does feature in a very famous song by Johny Cash
Jorge Juan Torres Quiroga It is from the Bible. Revelations 6:8.
"I looked, and behold, a white horse, and Hell followed with him."
It's perfectly written - white horse = sheriff Whitehorse; Hell followed with him = Rookie, man who destroys whole cult.
Joseph mostly takes from the Book of Revelations.
that's on them. going with only 3 people to capture a cult leader with hundreds of fully armed people
what happens after marshall and rook get out of the helicopter do you have a video of that?
Someone please tell me the chime instrument of 6:45 it sounds so good 😭
Btw : if your don't arrest the father you leave And you have to do IT again.
Ffs
Church of well’s be like.
Someone please help me - what's the name of the music box tune at 6:50?
I don't know. Try uploading the song on RUclips and wait for a copyright claim and then it will show you the song.
Or find the soundtrack of Far Cry 5
It's the main theme. ;-)
@@purechocolate3821, But what's the name of the main theme?
@@LightenStar when the morning light shines in.
I'm mistaken though, even though I literally heard that little music box piece in another FC5 arrangement.
Came to see if faith was real
6:50 what song is playing?
This is the scene, that came up on my mind, when Putin received an arrest warrant, the ICC can wipe their arses with it
I think they should be send the swat police or anything like that. Because just 1 marshal and 4 cops (one sheriff) is too danger for big armored cult. That's just my thinking.
This is what the supression bureu feel when they want to arrest you
7:54 song name?
Far Cry 3 still the best.
Željko Radanović I agree even though I never finished it
bitch please, you always hate on the new games and love the old ones, even if the old is bullshit you still love it because its over 10 years old.You guys always use the "old is gold" tactic
Why do people like Far Cry 3 so much?
@@LightenStar It's got a great storyline, nice pacing, interesting villains, a likable protagonist, beautiful setting and enjoyable missions. Sometimes it kind of reminded me of Tomb Raider. I personally really liked it and I'll definitely play it again. I've also enjoyed Far Cry 5 just as much. The only downside in 5 is that the character you're playing has no personality and doesn't talk at all, just like in Far Cry 2, that kind of bothered me.
@Soap yes
What button did he press to arrest the father?? Ive spent one hour trying to find the button.
That’s what I’m trying to figure out
@@elanap386 finally found it “enter key”
Enter key I think
Spacebar
Wanted to see this because i choose not to cuff him
So what did you do after that? Go back to Game Stop and buy another game to play?
Actually father wasn't villain at all.
He was right the whole time,i wish that there was an option in game to go on his side.
Did we play the same game? He literally says "we will take what we need, we will preserve what we have, and we'll kill all those that stand in our way." That's not something a good, or even neutral person would say. He was absolutely a villain although I agree taking his side or being able to join his side during any point in the story would have been a very interesting storyline. But it would interfere with the lesson the game was trying to teach.
So does he get away wtf happens lol
No play the game
Am I first?
In this scene Joseph reminds me of trump a lot after what happened
Am i the last?
Emisor Anonimo no
You are at the bottom of the comments
It's like walking into a Trump rally
It's like walking into a BLM rally
Lol are you sure about that? I think it's almost like walking into BLM rioters. They say they want good for their people and others but in reality they only destroy and create more division
Atleast Trump can hold a rally, unlike biden
