The interiors on these are so comfortable. It's a relic, but these were pretty well built and engineered well. Still see these rolling around every now and then, often in rough cosmetic shape, but mechanically sound. There's a reason the platform stuck around for another 20 years.
I have a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 50th Anniversary Edition with full carriage roof and all exterior trim in gold anodized metal. Only 250 made with this trim package and the car both looks great and runs even better.
Good job showcasing this beauty my dude, interesting that ford nvr got the memo about the glove box door issue, as many years prior was the same unfortunate problem... Overall a most impressive vehicle of the times
Mine is the triple black roadster with cd player and original Factory radio and keyless door entry. If you read the manual you will see you could get a keyless remote for the car just take her to the store to get one. These also had heated mirrors. The lincoln through 80 through 87 were lincoln continental with a town car pkg. Only 88 and 89 were considered lincoln town cars themselves. Great car that I will never part with.
I've got an 89 signature in triple silver, leather interior, with light crystal blue door panels and trim. Light titanium pearl solid paint. There awesome cars.
My 89 was repainted and new roof , never allowed it to look other than new! The bigger problem some one offers more then I paid for it including all the work I had done and I sold it
I hear the top speed was around 109 mph and not 85 mph. Now did I hit that speed in my two Town Cars from that Era? I will not say 😂 It does have keyless entry. The buttons on the door would let you lock, unlock, and open the doors and trunk.
Nice Nice nice I’ve been a subscriber Since 2019 2020 or before that I want to see mercury grand Marquis crown VICS Ford F1 50s Lincoln town cars something different
My father taught me to drive in this back in the day.
Beautiful memories
I never tire of seeing these old Town Cars nice overview

My Dad traded his 1983 Cadillac Devil in for a 1987 Lincoln town car. He said that it was one of his favorite cars. And he has had a lot of cars
I have a light blue one with dark blue interior its not mint but it has 94k miles on it and runs just amazingly
Love the color but would have preferred matching leather interior. Ultimate in luxury

Definitely get rid of that steering wheel wrap-those are gross-and I’d take a few minutes to clean the engine compartment.
Love ❤️
6:48 Lincoln mkz limo
They’ll do way over 85mph

This is a cleveland engine not a Windsor
That’s A Very Rough Example.
If That’s The Best You Can Do, You Really Ought To Give It Up.🧶
