    You should make a video about Licchivi dynasty of Nepal which was actually built by Maithils of Bihar.
    Tirhut people of Vaishali defeated kirat (Tibetans) of Nepal.
    I wish people knew about Bihar's role in Nepal's history.
    Even Malla dynasty was built from Bihar.

    My salutations, respect and admiration for Emperors CHANDRAGUPTA MAURYA, BINDUSAR and ASHOKA. They were the greatest emperors who brought reformation.
    Not only, MAHINDRA and SANGHAMITRA but his another daughter CHARUMATI also excepted BUddhism. She founded the Chabahil monastery aka CHARUMATI Vihara. His other sons TIVALA was Buddhist but his other sons KUNALA followed Jainism and JALUKA followed Sanatan Dharma (He was a staunch SHAIVA. He built many temples in Kashmir). There were other children of Emperor ASHOKA through TISHYARAKSHA but as she made Kunala blind to make her own son next king, its erased from history. SUYASHAS was a son of Emperor ASHOKA

    How did Ashoka protect himself after turning into a buddhist? as he was such a great emperor and may have many enemies

    • @UngalAnban
      @UngalAnban  4 года назад +2

      Great question, Navya! 😀👍 Please note, after he regretted for all the lives lost during his battles, he embraced Buddhism. This is not to say that he became a "Buddhist monk" himself! It's just that he dropped the idea of conquering and extending his empire further. He ordered the construction of 84,000 stupas and promoted Buddhism and its principles.

      @@UngalAnbanyeha this is not a proper answer brother...
      After the Kalinga war the askoha we're visit the Kalinga then they see that people and that time lot of people we're died there suffering from there lives so, Ashok literally worried 😟 abt that war after he realizeing here's after way's he should not go like war and worries. In that most important think in that history' he became a Buddhist monk he go forward no volience and also also main thing he spread the buddist across the ancient India not only india world.. he established lot of stupass.. so that why the cal.. Ashoka the great king 👑 wht a man they capture most of the part in India but stil they didn't capture tami ndu czo of chre chola pandyas they great three dynasties... And by the way after the askoha kanishk is the person he is belongs to kushans period he also spread Buddhism to every country historien called as second askoha..

    I have another question why our indian flag contain ashoka chakra ? There are so many other emperors why don't our flag contain some other's name as .... chakra

    • @UngalAnban
      @UngalAnban  4 года назад +1

      To answer your question on "why not the other emperors" - there could be two reasons: 1) Ashoka was one among the greatest emperors of India (the others being Raja Raja Chola, Rajendra Chola, Chatrapati Shivaji, etc.), 2) Political reasons ;)

    • @jasminepaul7490
      @jasminepaul7490 3 года назад

      I think, because of it's meaning and The Ashoka Chakra means the 'wheel of the law'. As we all know, our national flag had evolved from many forms. The ashoka chakra was not there in the beginning, It was adopted on July 22, 1947. Gandhi was proposed spinning wheel at the center but it was already in use as party symbol. So it is said that Dr.Ambedhkar suggested ashoka chakra.

    So Sri Lanka kept a great detail record in Mahavansa about Indian history on Ashoka that even the Indians did not until the British in 18th century written this huge gap in Indian history with what was recorded in Sri Lankan history???
    The mind boggles. Don’t believe it all
    why would and island far way have a precise detail record of India ‘s history?
    That Sri Lankan connection is very dodgy unless off course there was an civilisation in Lanka with internet!!

    Why would one cause so many deaths to understand peace. To me this is not great, it is regrets can't achieve any success. If he would had won the battle what would it be. Just sit down and think on a different angle. Always think before you do that's the greatest.
