i would like to share that recently i was in goodwill in a small little town in ALABAMA and this sweet elderly couple said something about good mythical morning and my head spun to them and we began to have conversations about rhett, link and chase for at least 10 minutes.
So I'm a HUGE Costco fan and 2 years ago I hosted Christmas. I got one of those cheesecakes on Dec 23rd and it was totally gone by Christmas. I live alone. I ate the entire 14 inch cheesecake in a day and a half. It's my favorite sweet in the entire world.
I never really questioned the bulk package/freezer space thing because, as an Upper Midwesterner, the idea of not having a basement freezer is mystifying to me.
@@Silvercanth no, but those are the ones that end up in front of the camera. There's probably dozens of people you never see because they are just average joes.
Honestly as somebody in their 20’s, living single, in a small apartment in the city, I still have a Costco membership and no fancy garage or secondary fridge/freezer space. Most everything that I need from Costco I can find space for and it’s not like I’m shopping for an entire family. Can’t beat the price either 🤷♀️
Things like paper towels. Toilet paper. Heck even toothpaste. I can get months worth of supply for almost the same price as a small grocery store supply. Absolutely worth the price! They even have great random items like travel coolers and stuff I get for my hubby for work
Me too! That is what I was also thinking it was. And everytime someone says something is better than anyone can make at home with any of these grocery store packaged items I just think they haven't had good enough cooks make good enough recipes. Haha. My family recipe for the cheesecake with that topping is pretty amazing. I have tried other cheesecakes and I don't like them quite as much. Yet.
Was so excited when I saw this my son just got a Costco card and let me have the second card nom nom nom. Can’t wait to try for myself . Luv the channel!
If you've got a dog/cat @gw209 their brand pet food is great prices for excellent foods. Our cats absolutely love costco cat food and it's the main reason I keep our membership. Oh and the women's wool socks in fall. Their wool socks are fantastic. Im hoping that the odd pair i got last year was just a fluke.
Hollywood Forever is amazing. From the Crypts, to the tombs, to the elaborate ponds. The landscaping is gorgeous too. It's super fun to run across Hollywood stars from 40s starlets to rock stars
I still find it very interesting that in Australia, Costco has 100% pork hotdogs and they’re the best hot dog I’ve ever had. I wonder what the beef ones taste like 🤔
People who have houses and say Costco takes up too much space is a hard skill issue. I live in an apartment and buy 90%+ of my groceries and home staples from Costco and don't struggle with storage space.
Went to a bday party the other day and there were both Strawberry Tres leches and chocolate cakes from Costco. They both hit hard. I LOVE Costco cake. Tuxedo is my favorite
Are there any other club-type stores around you? In my experience, they're all similar enough. I'd be interested in seeing the Mythical Squad do a comparison of all the big club stores. Costco, Sam's, BJs, and any others that I don't know. (If they haven't already)
I have never been to Cosco because I'm in St. Paul, Mn so my family and friends shop faithfully at Sam's Club that affiliate with Walmart. I have never been disappointed ❤
Our Costco now checks the card's picture to the person at checkout. I used to borrow someone's card because I'd only go a few times a year and it didn't make sense to me to buy a membership.

We don't have a Costco in my area. We do have Sam's Club and we have a GFS (Gordon Food Service). The GFS is strictly food and food service items, and does not require a membership to shop.
You should hire people who know more about food for Sporked. How can you advise us on "the best food on the shelves," if the gal you hired doesn't know about a basic like classic NYC style cheesecake? The original NYC style cheesecake comes with a sour cream top.

That’s adorable. ☺️
Too cute. I used to not get how people thought old people were cute but as I've gotten older myself it makes more sense.
Love this!
Cool story, bro.

Yall have a basement? We are 3 living with 2 rooms ahah 😅
basements don’t exist in california 😂😅
@saul5188 Yes they do. They're just not as common
Me in Scotland living in a tenement flat wishing I had the space for a huge freezer 😅
As an apartment dweller a good portion of my pantry/emergency preparedness supplies take up my coat closet.
Even when the charity donations are random link still cant win 😂
I’ve been taking food review from a guy that just said “what’s Panko?”
Yes 🙃
Hmm, I wonder which of them would say that 😂
You’ve been following food advice from someone that doesn’t like tomatoes?
@Pop-e awareness comes before taste. Now if he had said "what's a tomato?" ...
🤣😭
You can pickup a standup freezer with shelves for just $199 at Costco for your extra frozen food.
Gwynedd is low key fashion queen of GMM. Love that top. Looks like a block print. So cute. 🌷
Fashion queen for wearing basic clothing?
I only know that because I’ve been eyeing the same top lmao. I have no idea how to reverse search what people are wearing
if anyone wanted to look up the top, I reverse-searched for it and it's Muscle Tee Dutch Garden - NOOWORKS
This shirt is Nooworks brand, she wears Nooworks a lot.

@pnwexplorer1122 certainly close enough. He could have butchered it.
Same ❤

Gwynnedd recommending Se7en and spoiling the ending in the same breath was… something
The movie is like 30 years old at this point if they don’t know the plot it should be spoiled for them lol
That movie is from like the 90s and be parodied hundreds of times in pop culture can't call it a spoiler

Kirkland Hot Dogs are THE BEST store bought Hot Dogs that can be bought. Even better than Nathan's! No question!
I'm going to try them for sure, but we love the Nathan's COLLOSAL hot dogs with pretzel buns from Kroger. If they can beat those I'll be impressed.
Can we just appreciate Link saying Issaquah correctly 🙌🏼
The Chicken bakes at the food court are sooooo much better. A must have anytime I visit Costco.
Me and my partner use Costco for lunch snacks (little bags of chips, granola bars, etc.) and breakfast sandwhiches, thats it. Worth it for us.
“Would you say your pesto is the besto?”
“I’d say it’s pretty good-o.”
Anybody? Lol
I think that the best part about going to Costco are the free samples!!
The bun for the hotdogs kinda look like the Pepperidge farm top slit buns.
I think it may be Whole Foods bakery top slit
My favorite pesto is aldi. Top notch

You have to refrigerate the maple syrup after opening or it will mold. Takes a lot of fridge space. Garage fridge is required.
Yep, learned this the hard way with a small size of maple syrup from Canada.
I wish a cosco was close to me, food seems so good

Costco actually sells the best freezer. It is a standup, but is full of drawers. Great for organizing and being able to get to everything.
